Located in Surf City, this attractive house for $574 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We all need something to look forward to .... SummerSalt is the perfect spot to have a Topsail Island vacation! We repeatedly have guests tell us and leave reviews saying that SummerSalt is "the cleanest VRBO house we have ever stayed in" and now we know our guests value that even more with COVID19. We have worked to make this home ready for your arrival with tasteful, clean decor and ample opportunities to do all of your favorite beach activities. Make memories while you enjoy the sun, swimming, surfing, search for shells, or just relax with your family and friends. SummerSalt offers views of the ocean with a quiet, convenient beach access just a few yards away. Start your day with your morning coffee on the large front deck as the sun rises over the ocean. Then walk to the beach for a day of collecting shells, jumping the waves and building your very own sand creation. Then return to SummerSalt for more outdoor pleasures by lounging in your private pool with a large tanning ledge. And don't miss your chance to shower outside in a private shower with the smell of salty air. There's an outdoor gas grill in the backyard for your cooking pleasure or you could pick up some yummy seafood from a local restaurant! SummerSalt has a fully-equipped kitchen, digital cable television, 4 flat screen televisions, high-speed wireless internet access, and many other amenities! SummerSalt is a family-friendly house with puzzles, cards, games and books available for all ages. We work to make sure you arrive with nothing to worry about. Linens are provided, beds are made, and we have some basic essentials in the cabinets so all you have to shop for is food and beverages. We take great pride in preparing the house for each guest so your arrival is abundantly pleasant and you can leave all your worries behind. For anyone not familiar with Topsail Island and Surf City, we'll be happy to answer any questions and help you find interesting things to do. It's a quaint little beach town with something for everyone. There are golf courses nearby, jet ski and boat rentals, opportunities to learn about marine life, fishing, equipment rentals (surfboards, bikes, kayaks), shopping, craft markets, worship services, exercise classes, and more. The Surf City property was clean, family friendly, and amazing. The proximity to the beach access was convenient and the kids enjoyed a lowkey afternoon and evening swim in the pool after spending the day on the beach. The property owners were great to deal with and we have already booked our stay next year.

The property has everything you need for a great comfortable stay. The owners are easy to communicate with and ensure your happy. Great view from the 3rd floor! The pool was very well lit at night and clean. Definitely would love to stay here again.

We adored our stay! The fact that the pool was heated tbh saved our chillier than anticipated vacation and the host was super quick to help us when we were unsure how to start it!
The house was absolutely stocked to the rim with everything you could want for a beach trip! Floats/chairs/wagon/sand buckets/boogie boards you name it! Books to borrow, games for the kids. I’ve never seen a home to equipped as a rental. I felt ridiculous that I packed anything for the kiddo.
The only nitpicking I could fathom is the showers were camper-sized as other reviews had warned. The fridge constantly hummed (slightly annoying) and front porch was squeaky when settling in with a book! Nothing can ever be quite perfect but I absolutely loved my stay and when I woke my 4 year old up to leave she cried, not wanting to leave “summer”.

We stayed here as a family of 5 with children ranging from age 1-5 and this place couldn’t have been more perfect! The pool was exceptional, especially the shallow ledge for little littles. It was a quick walk to the beach. The kids loved the bunk beds upstairs. We all got hooked on searching for shark teeth and the kids have been begging to go back for months since we left!

We loved our stay and can't wait to go back. So much thought was placed into having things available to make it easy for families. The house is wonderful, the pool is my kids "favorite ever" and I feel we have only begun exploring the area.

We stayed here a few years ago and were excited to be in the same house. The house is beautiful, location is amazing and the pool is spectacular. It was a great vacation and we can't wait to.go back.

An amazing pace to stay in a quiet little beach town
Trudy and Mark and their SummerSalt home set a new level of expectations for a beach house! We were welcomed with a nice box of delicious baked goods, a very clean house stocked with plenty of amenities and sometimes overlooked necessities, comfortable beds, an awesome saltwater and heated pool and a very short walk to the beach. There were ample towels, beach towels, beach chairs, floaties for the pool, boogie boards, skim board, sand toys, puzzles and board games, etc. Trudy and Mark have basically thought of everything. The only downside was the small shower in the upstairs which was tight, but doable. Overall, an amazing place to stay in a quiet, serene beach town.

We loved this home. I have never stayed in a rental that was so well stocked. The owners go above and beyond to provide everything you would have in your home, plus. We were in town for a wedding and had 6 rental property's on the island. Everyone that spent time with us at this property said this house feels like a home vs ours that feels like a rental. Or wow look how stocked you are with everything. On top of the that the direct communication with the owners was wonder. We really appreciated everything they do for their renters. I would absolutely stay here again. It was perfect.

Trudy and Mark have thought of everything to make Summer Salt feel like your own home and make your vacation relaxing! We had more rain then sun this trip but the house is well stocked with games, books, and fun ideas to keep the kids happy! I say it every year, this is THE BEST beach rental we've ever had in over 30 years of renting! Thank you, Trudy and Mark, for all you put into Summer Salt and Topsail! Perfect getaway in the perfect location!
This property had everything that we could think of! First off, the pool was absolutely amazing and exactly what we needed with 4 kids under 10! Even the adults loved it! The ledge for our 2 and 4 year olds was the best idea ever.
The house was just the right size for 8 of us. It had everything we needed and more!
Even though you are not right on the beach, the access being 3 houses down was no problem at all. It was fast and a perfect, non-crowded area, with great shells and sand!
The location was absolutely perfect. Short walk to the main town and on the secondary road so no traffic noise whatsoever! Easy in and out of the island, shops, food and pier!
Owners were great and with a small issue we had with time of leaving, they were very generous and understanding!
We will definitely be staying here again when we come to Topsail Island for sure!

We rented Summer Salt for our bi annual girls trip. It fit our needs perfectly. Trudy was quick to respond and offered recommendations on places to eat. There were enough beach chairs and towels for all 9 of us!

Great family rental!
We rented this house for a family vacation with a 9YO. I couldn’t ask for anything more! The owners were amazing and provided just about everything we needed for the beach and pool. We definitely want to make this an annual trip and hope Summer Salt is available!
