Located in Lake Conroe, this charming house for $370 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Heaven on Earth! - This 2-story 3/3.5/2 has a bonus 4th bedroom/game room (pull-out queen couch - and sectional sofa). The house sits directly on the waterfront in a gated golf course country club community. Enjoy all this townhome has to offer. Awesome waterfront lot with beautiful views from the deck. There is also a hot tub to relax in! The patio has a built-in outdoor kitchen, fridge, sink, and grill where you can relax and grill the day's catch. I want to start off by saying that I really love staying in the April Sounds country club. It has been wonderful to wake up and enjoy the lake views!
This property is cute, kind of like staying at grandmas house. The kitchen was STOCKED with any utensils, tools and cookware I needed. It was weird that we opened the fridge and there was an open bag of meat in the fridge. After that my friend went to use the front bathroom and she found the toilet paper was yellow with mold on it. We are a pretty laid back bunch but that was pretty bad.
Just like one of the previous reviews, it says no dogs allowed. What was weird was when I went to go turn down the bed with the king bed in it it was covered in black dog hair. I found a lot of personal items like tooth brushes, razors and a TON of frozen food. Its almost like someone lives there part time. That was definitely interesting. Typically the properties we have stayed at don't have as much stuff in it
Other than those things, the property itself is really cute and in between Montgomery and Conroe. I would just recommend maybe better cleaners next time.

The house and view were amazing. However, the flooring, blankets and furniture were all covered in dog hair so it had obviously not been cleaned well. This house is advertised as No Pets, so this was disappointing. Also, refrigerator was stocked with many items that were expired, so make sure to check before you use them. If you cant do stairs, this is not the house for you as it is a tri-level with lots of stairs.

Summer vacation
This place was ideal for our family with the lake and pool access. Check in was very easy and owner was always responsive if we had any questions. The property was well keep and views from back decks were excellent.

We rented this house as a place to sleep and shower as we were visiting relatives that have a house in the same community! We were very impressed with how well stocked the house was with cleaning supplies, soap, towels. Etc. Our host did well at answering questions and providing lots of information upfront so we wouldn’t need to ask to much once we arrived.
Everything in the house functioned well we really like the bathroom showers. Also loved the outside area even though we didn’t spend much time there. I would recommend and stay here again! Just be ready to do lots of steps:-)

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious home in a gated community. The host, who is a great communicator, is conscientious about security, and vetted us carefully. The area felt safe, and all the homes in the community were in good shape and nicely tended.
This is a really large 3-floor space with plenty of room for people to congregate in the lower level kitchen and dining area and good sized bedrooms (2 with large bunkbeds, 1 king, 1 attic fold-out couch) and four bathrooms. There are three different outdoor deck options overlooking the beautiful lake, which let us spread out and choose if we wanted shade or sun. We didn't get a chance to use the kayaks, but they were easily accessible. The AC works very well, and there are fans in the attic room for extra circulation of the AC up there. The house is clearly inhabited by its owners when not up on Vrbo, so it has all the amenities you could want from a fully stocked home, including a lot of games and toys, a full range of utensils, cleaning and laundry supplies.
The house lists four bedrooms, but the queen bed in the fourth room (a spacious attic room with adjoining bathroom) is actually an unfolding couch bed with the mattress folded within it.
The house is reasonably clean and neat -- perfect if you're looking for a homey experience rather than a hotel.
Overall, this is a very comfortable and generous house in a great area, and we recommend this property.

Myself and a couple girlfriends rented this home to get away and relax while celebrating birthdays. It was perfect! The lake view is beautiful and the access into the water was easy. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and was spacious. We will be back!

It had everything (and more) for all ages (13-57) to enjoy including a fully stocked home. The listing on VRBO was understated and the photos simply don't do the view justice. My group wanted a homey space to enjoy the lake and that's exactly what we got at this property. We used every square inch including three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a giant family room on the top floor, the spacious deck, and the outdoor spa. Shanely was easy to communicate with and answered any and all questions and concerns in a timely manner. If you're looking for a hoity-toity "don't touch this or that" spot, well then keep looking... but if you're looking for a place with something for the whole family to enjoy the spectacular Lake Conroe (paddleboards, kayaks, games, etc), well then, this spot is perfect! Complaints? Just the Texas-sized bugs outside (yes, we're a bit skittish coming from So. Cal.), and the two discs we lost at the local disc golf course!

Great lakehouse getaway
Loved the house! Lots of space and bathrooms. Kids enjoyed the xbox, board games, kayak and paddle boards. Great sunsets off the double deck too.
Hint to renters: Don’t bring too much to put in freezer. It has lots of stuff in there already—not much room, but the area in the back of fridge will freeze your food. Also, they have lots of condiments already. Lots of pillows and throw blankets.

misrepresented, no mention of all the levels
This property had trash on driveway when we arrived. Owner does no mention that the house is on many levels. Stairs everywhere. Bathrooms were not real clean. wet towels were in dryer. Not good for our family with so many stairs to each level.
