About this house rental

Situated in Balboa Island, this lovely house for $750 per night is a great choice for your next break. There is nothing like the charm and location of Balboa Island. This lovely front house was totally renovated this year while preserving the feel of the original structure. It is located on the sunny side of the street with a very large patio, including a BBQ, dining and sitting areas. There are new windows, wood floors and drywall throughout. A large opening skylight in the stairway brightens the whole house. The living room has a working gas fireplace and surround sound speakers that extend to the patio. Furnished with all new comfy beds, linens and furniture. Large flat screen TVS in living room and all bedrooms. Master suite with newly added master bath and king bed with sitting area. Second bedroom with King bed, and third bedroom with 2 double trundles and twin beds below, when beds are all being used, the room is all bed, but can sleep 4 teenagers or 4-6 children. All new, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, that is perfect for cooking and entertaining. Three paddle boards, five adult and 2 childrens bikes, 3 kayak, razors, a baby pool, and beach chairs, umbrellas are ready for your use. All linens and towels included. Washer/dryer and parking for one car in garage, also an outdoor shower. We have furnished this house for our use, as well as our guests, so hope you will enjoy!! The pictures were taken prior to window coverings which add greatly to the feel of the house.

We loved this house and location. There was plenty of space for our group and an amazing location - close to shopping/dining on Marine, just a few houses away from the water - but private as you are not right on the water. The kitchen was stocked as well! It was an overall great experience!

Everything about this house is 5 stars! The location is great, just a couple blocks from Marine Blvd and a few houses from the beach. The house is beautifully redone and comes stocked with everything you could need. The beds are incredibly comfortable. We appreciated having the bikes to rides. Sheila was so easy to work with. This was the perfect place for a "Moms" getaway! We will definitely stay here again!

Great older home on Balboa Island, all redone and so cute. The home was spotless and all the amenities were well thought out. The communication with the owner was excellent. Sheila welcomed us via message and gave us tips on the boat parade. The only small issues were the heater controller we always had to adjust and the hot water takes a LONG time to get to each area of the house. Would definitely recommend the home to others and will stay there again when in the area. Thanks for a great vacation!

We had a lovely stay the weekend before Thanksgiving with our 6 and 8 year olds. House was well stocked and the owner was kind enough to meet us here when we arrived to show us around. Beautiful house in excellent location near all Balboa Island has to offer. We would definitely come back again!!

We vacation on Balboa Island every year, this was one of the best properties we have rented. Great location, lots of toys for the kids, teens and adults. House was clean and beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property. Property manager was very nice and easy to work with.

The house is in an ideal area where you can walk to everything and with their bikes, it makes going to the Peninsula and beach so easy! We loved sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine at night and truly enjoying the beauty of the island. Perfect for a family or a romantic getaway.

This house was the best house I've rented on the island. It had two car garage with four kayaks, three excellent paddle boards, and bikes for all ages. Beautiful front patio with tons of outdoor seating which was ideal for covid friendly visiting. I loved it!

We had a great time and enjoyed wonderful weather. Property is close to the water and close to restaurants. Worked well for all ages 8 to 72. The house had everything including staples in the kitchen so we didn’t have to wAste money buying things like spices.

We enjoyed our stay and the house was beautiful. Very well appointed., Bikes Sups and Kayaks - we didn't need to bring or rent anything and was able to enjoy all the island and peninsula had to offer. We did two days at Disney and the location was excellent for access. Will stay again.

What a wonderful time for our entire family! This adorable beach home is in the perfect location for experiencing Balboa Island. We had so much fun biking, paddle boarding, riding the ferry, eating frozen bananas, and more. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it! Sheila was a great host and treated us like family.

Sheila, the owner, is so helpful and kind...and has literally thought of every convenience for her renters! The house is adorable and so very clean. This was very important to me when I was looking for our rental, and it exceeded my expectations. The beds were so comfortable, as well! You can tell she takes great pride in her house...My family can’t wait to rent here again...and I grew up in Balboa, so I already knew that was the best! 😊�
