Dreaming tree is a cute and comfortable studio condo located in a beautiful forest setting. Our studio includes modern amenities, but rustic decor to give it a unique Tahoe feel. We welcome well-behaved pets at no extra charge. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the village/gondola or the NPOA recreation center. Ski back is possible when there is enough snow! Lana's place was fantastic. Very spacious for a studio. Lots of comfy living space, well stocked kitchen and a great deck in the trees. Just a few minutes walk to Northstar Village where there are plenty of shops and restaurants yet very peaceful despite being so close. Nice touches with doggie treats, bowls and leashes in case you forget for your furry family members. I would definitely stay again!

(summertime review) We loved it and would stay again! My partner and I stayed at this property for a week mainly to go to the bike park. The studio was spacious enough for the three of us, with the Murphy bed nicely folding away for a little more space during the day time. Balcony big enough to keep our bikes when not in use and still sit outside and enjoy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The highlight for us was that this isn't just a place you're allowed to bring your dog, but they had dog bowls, a whole big basket of toys and even a pack of treats to welcome our fur baby.

Excellent communication. Very welcoming, spacious, and comfortable spot to relax at after a day on the slopes. Stairs can feel like a lot if you overpack like me!

We had a fantastic stay. Saw four bears over three days, enjoyed the balcony, the complex and the rec center. And had a fabulous ski weekend. Wonderful spot for us and our pooch! Lovely treats left, sealed the deal. Thank you so much!

Wonderful long weekend at Northstar. This condo is very convenient to the Village and slopes - almost as good as staying in the Village location wise. Everything was very clean and well maintained and the communication couldn't have been better. The kitchen and supplies were well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

My husband and I (and our dog) just stayed in this amazing spot for the third time! Lana is lovely and very responsive and accommodating. The studio is cozy, clean and has everything you need. The space is well laid out with a nice living room space, comfortable Murphy bed, and well-appointed kitchen. The location is perfect, walking distance to trails and the Village. Can’t wait to come back!

Seconds away from the base, perfect resort and accommodation. The host was wonderful, the apartment was relaxed, clean, comfortable and so dog friendly. Plus a bottle of wine and a bag of dog treats. Felt like home.

Great location. Too many stairs up to the property. Being in mid 70's it was challenge to get all of our belongings up to the condo. Owner was very responsive.

My boyfriend and I (and our dog) had a fabulous time at Lana's property! We were able to walk to the gondola to hit the slopes and really enjoyed spending time hanging out in The Village. We would definitely love to stay again!

My wife and I had a great time staying so close to Northstar with our dog. The unit is walking distance to the slopes, and all the necessities are provided for. There were games, toys for the dog, and even dog bowls. We also were able to work here for a day as the internet was good. All in all would definitely recommend!

The location of the house was great. The house had all the essentials to feel at home; the kitchen was well stocked as well. Lana and Nate were very helpful and accommodating for us during our stay. Hoping to stay here in the future. Thank you!

Highly recommend this property. It is super cute and the location is obviously wonderful if you are skiing Northstar. Kitchen has everything you need so we cooked many of our meals. Very cozy and cute. Loved having our dog with us. Would stay again.

This condo is within walking distance of Northstar Village and the recreation center. Unfortunately we were there mid-October when the village was shutdown, but the rec center was open, but that also meant the whole complex was very quiet and uncrowded! The host is extremely responsive and will do what it takes to make your stay enjoyable. The condo is perfect for two people and has a balcony with 2 rocking chairs as well as table and chairs. Inside is well-stocked with all your needs and a very workable kitchen area. The place was furnished Tahoe style with a comfortable Murphy bed and large sofa. It is on the second floor so we got lots of exercise esp. as we had our dog with us, but plenty of area outside to walk her. We even had snow our last night there so a great way to end a fun relaxing weekend.

The Dreaming Tree was a perfect getaway for my partner and I and our small dog. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in. We were provided with many conveniences for our stay and treats. Our entire stay was enjoyable and memorable. The hosts were very communicative whenever we had questions or concerns before and during our stay. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again in the future.

Great spot for hiking and mountain biking. They are very dog friendly and great hosts. Only downside was the wildfires in the area- and not having ac…..but if the smoke wasn’t an issue, there would be no need for AC since the evenings are so cool.

Perfect size for my needs and plus being dog friendly. Close enough to the lake, but far enough it was quiet among the trees. Was there is summer vs winter, when may be more crowded. But I'd come back if I get back to the Tahoe area.

This was the most convenient and comfortable ski trip I’ve ever experienced. The owner was extremely generous. We spent our last day of vacation staying in, drinking cocoa, watching movies, and solving jigsaw puzzles. We will remember this vacation fondly.

The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Lana left treats for us and our dog as well as a bottle of wine! The neighborhood is very quiet and not crowded, we felt extremely safe during COVID. It is also one of the most dog friendly places we have stayed, our lab was in heaven. We even got to experience the first snow and it was beautiful with all the pine trees. Already trying to find a time to come back!

Really enjoy our stay and the condo! We selected it because we decided at the last minute to go away and needed to take our dog with us. It was a super dog friendly place (even had toys and treat bag), the host was great, and location was within walking distance of Northstar Village and 10 minutes from Lake Tahoe. We'll definately be back. Thanks!!!!
