About this cottage rental
WHAT IT FEELS LIKE: Wake up, enjoy the outside shower with harbor view. Eat breakfast and watch the ferry traffic through the picture windows. Walk 2 minutes down your private boardwalk to the beach, where you read, sunbathe, swim in the protected waters, or collect scallop shells.
Enjoy the king, queen, and hybrid twin/king bedrooms downstairs, or the king bed upstairs, with an additional twin bed on call if need.
Relax with friends and family in the wood-walled family room for sunset views, a game or a show.
Enjoy activities in town, disc golf, the South shore, all within 2-4 miles.
Eat and lounge at the inside or outside dining tables, on the hammock, the Adirondack chairs. Enjoy the deck just by the beach for sunbathing, reading, drinks or a meal.

Enjoy an authentic beach cottage that feels like home - with many updates within the past 3 years: renovated upstairs suite and bathroom, new principal bedroom, new twin beds, new deck by the beach, freshly planted garden beds on both sides of the house, rebuilt outdoor shower.

HOUSE LAYOUT: The first floor of the house has an open floor plan including kitchen, dining and living areas great for entertaining, quiet evenings or family time. There are 3 bedrooms full of sunlight and ample closet and dresser space. They include a large principal bedroom with a King bed, a 2d bedroom with a queen bed, and a 3d bedroom with 2 twin beds combinable into a king. There are two full baths downstairs - one shared between the king and queen rooms, and one dedicated to the twin room. Beds, linens and towels are new.
The kitchen is well equipped with cast iron and new Green Pan cookware, serving dishes, and appliances including a blender, wafflemaker, toaster oven, and more. The walls throughout are wood-paneled with a unique, beautiful, luan. The floors are all wide board oak.
The second floor has incredible views, privacy, and an open floor plan with a king bed, a sitting area and full bathroom. It is accessed by an outside staircase. The interior has been freshly painted, with new bed, furniture, carpets over a warm maple floor.
The outdoor shower is newly built in 2025, with a perfect harbor view. A new Weber gas grill is available for your BBQing needs.
Beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, and towels are provided. There are outdoor games -croquet, boche ball, smash, and discs for frisbee golf. There is also a selection of board and kids’ games available.
There is a private boardwalk leading to a deck and the beach, just steps from the house.

The best of classic Nantucket. A lovingly cared for family home, directly on the harbor, with the most beautiful sunsets you could imagine. There are vintage details almost everywhere you look that show the level of thoughtfulness that went into designing this home, and it would be very hard to beat the location. Staying here reminded me of coming to the island as a child, in all the best ways. And our kids loved the quick walk to the harbor beach.

This Property and its Host David far exceeded our expectations. The cottage exudes warmth and comfort. The views and beach access are incredible and David's truly kind and responsive. We look forward to staying again in the future and would recommend staying here to anyone.

We have rented many places on Nantucket over the years, but this was by far the best one ever! The location can not be beat and simply the best view and sunsets on nantucket
The walk way to the beach is so special
The house is so comfortable and well stocked
The owner, David is the best. He is very responsive.
We enjoyed every minute here and made memories that will last a lifetime
