My family joined up with my wife's brother and his family (total of 9 adults). We all enjoyed the stay. It was rustic, but we enjoyed that aspect of it. It was spacious and in a great location - less than 10 minutes to downtown Estes Park. The kitchen was well stocked to cook in.
I love that we saw deer across the street and next door. There was plenty of space for our three vehicles - a 4th would have been tight. We had great views of the mountains.
There were various aspects of the property that we think need to be updated, such as bedding and a few of the beds. We would be happy to stay there again but would hope that there were some updates before that next visit.

Great house! Enough beds for 12 people! Staying in this house you definitely knew you were in the mountains! Loved the side porch with fire pit. Would stay there again!!!

The location of the cabin was perfect. We saw a few wild animals on the property which the kids went crazy over. We did have a few small concerns while there but the owner was quick to respond and address them. Overall it was a great stay and perfect for everyone!

We stayed here for a big family trip to celebrate my in-law’s 50’th anniversary and we could not have picked a more perfect place! The cabin layout worked well, and the location was conveniently close to everything, but still felt secluded and quiet. When we weren’t in RMNP, we were taking advantage of the paved running/walking/biking trail that was right across the street and led all the way to Lake Estes, the nearby playground or public pool, well as just relaxing on the porch enjoying the views of the mountains and the deer and elk that would come wandering by. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property located in Estes Park. Plenty of room for 2 families for a long stay. Front porch over looking the mountains and a great place to watch wildlife.

Set back in the forest, this house is surrounded by wildlife. We saw deer and elk on the property.

Very large house in a great, quiet location! Large deck and more space than we needed inside and out for 6 adults and 5 kids.

We really enjoyed this place, it was quiet and secluded, but close to the town, the lake, things to do, etc. The kitchen was very useable, as we made most of our meals (9 adults, 1 child). Bathrooms very nice. Beds comfortable. At times I wished there was AC but we used fans!! I concur with others that the light switches were confusing and could be labeled but we made do!! Had a really nice time connecting with our family again.

We brought our 8 children and a set of grandparents to stay for a few days and it was the perfect house. Fully stocked in the kitchen, comfy beds, clean bathrooms and an amazing view close to the city. I would highly recommend.

We had a large group of friends come into town for the weekend and had an amazing time at the cabin. The property is beautiful and it was nice to hike around the 15 acres in the snow and sun. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking together, and the kitchen is well stocked! Will definitely stay again!

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. The location is great, easy to get to and nestled in the wooded area. The house was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for a fun weekend. Communication with Jody was seamless as well! Highly recommend staying here for a cozy getaway.

EVERYTHING came from a secondhand or thirdhand store. A Few Highlights: Porch bed was seriously rickety with thin almost nonexistant pillows. Wobbly counter chairs- family was afraid they would collapse if they sat in them. Wasn't hard to find a party favor in the sofa- you sit down and the other side of the cushion pops up. Sweeper handle leaves a black sticky residue (never seen anything like this in my life), had to work hard to scrub it off with a dish scubber. The 'oven mits' please- yuk. Kids said, "you sure you want to put your hands in there?" Didn't notice the hole in the right mitt until I got burned while retrieving food from the oven. Cooking utensils? The black plastic pan utensil was so horribly burned on the end, you would want to become very ill to use it. Who wants to cook with every pan that needs 15 minutes with Bartenders Friend? And one last highlight; a family of 12 requires 12 glasses to drink from. There were only 8.

The absolute best stay we’ve ever been too. Had everything you can think of , answered all of our questions promptly and location was beautiful.

House has great bedrooms. Kitchen is nice. Pans are a bit old. Had fun playing games with grandkids on the table in the living room. Nice location away from the craziness of downtown but close enough to walk into town and the rec center.

We rented all 3 houses on this property for a large group of friends to spend the weekend together and had an incredible time.
This house in particular was comfortable, well equipped and a very short walk over to the bigger house on the property that ended up being the gathering spot.
Would highly recommend this property, we had a fantastic time.

What an amazing stay. The photos do not do this property the justice it deserves! We had a large group in town of friends and family. The layout of the house provided ample room and amenities for all the guests. The common areas were set up well for everyone to spend time together and visit. We will definitely be booking from these owners again. Very responsive, professional and friendly. I did not hesitate to give 5 stars.

This property is spacious and was comfortable for 7 adults and 4 children. It is a great place for kids to play games outside. We were very close to downtown Estes Park and close to Rocky Mountain National Park.
The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I will return next year for our family reunion.
Great time had by all of us!

location of property was excellent, we were all a bit disappointed with amenities such as shortage of paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper and kitchen wash cloths. silverware and glasses short for a large group as well. we havae never in the past been told we would need to buy our own if ran out. lots of cob webs on lighting and ceiling fans. We were a party of 9 and all expected a bit better.

Loved this house and location, convenient to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Lovely home.

This had a great location and was clean and cozy. We saw some wildlife. Plenty of towels and hot water. Fantastic views of the mountains. The main negatives lack of cooking essentials like aluminum foil and zero condiments. Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Lots of stairs but plenty of parking.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette merveilleuse maison.
Un petit détail, il manque un peu d’ustensiles de cuisine. Verres à vin pour des français c’est juste indispensable, et autres.

Clean and well equipped cabin for larger group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Quiet neighborhood.

We were there when it was hot so with no AC, it was warm at night and difficult to sleep. None of the light switches were labeled and we never figured out all the lighting. We had to stand on chairs to turn on ceiling fans.
Great location and a cozy cabin.

Not knowing what each place has or not we were pleasently surprised with all the extras in the kitchen, baby stroller, highchair, Bathroom stuff in case you forgot shampoo. I could go on.....
The set up was perfect for our family. Very clean and grasious to to let us check in a little early and out a little later. Very close to town and what can I say about Eates ? More to do then we could imagine. Just Beautiful ...We HIGHLY requemend this place and hope to return for another get away

We had a great time! Wildlife scenery was awesome, we saw a big bobcat walk right past our back porch!!

There were 7 adults and a 16 year old. The house is rustic and has had a Sun porch, used as game room and or bedroom, and a 4 bunk room added on. Remember upper bunks max weight 160 lbs.
It was great for our group. Everything was in working order. That is always a plus. We had great family fun.

Excellent place to stay in Estes Park
We couldn’t have been happier with this house/property for our stay in Estes Park. There were seven of us, and there was more than enough room. The house was very clean, the kitchen was very stocked with any appliances or tools you might need, including lots of kitchen spices, paper towels, dish soap, etc.. We loved that all of the rooms were on one floor, and even with that, there was enough room that we never felt crowded. There’s a beautiful front view from three of the bedrooms, and the fourth bedroom in the back has a private little patio. We also loved the side deck which was private with a fire pit, and that it connected to the wraparound porch in front. We had turkeys, elk, and deer visit us!
There were plenty of towels and washcloths, fans, shampoos and soaps, laundry detergent and more. We felt very at home and loved all the little personal touches. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Our host, Jody was very friendly and helpful. She even drove over to the house later in the evening after we had already left because we had forgotten something!
We would definitely stay there again!

Family Vacation
It was exactly the property we were looking for. The perfect amount of space. We didn’t have access to Internet, not sure if there was a wifi password somewhere. It was close to everything we needed

Good Location
Good location, frequent wildlife - saw deer and elk from the porch, a bear down the road.
Some might call it rustic; it felt more worn and dated - some lights burned out, door locks that didn't work, the bunk room is an add-on with a cement floor. The sitting area is small for a place that sleeps 12 - two couches and a couple of chairs. The WiFi router is in a distant corner of the house, making connection difficult at the kitchen and bunk room end of the house. The non-bunk bed mattresses were very good.
Our biggest surprise was the 25 stairs required to get into the house - one of our group struggles with stairs but we thought from the pictures that there was a back entrance access. Not so.
Overall, a fair experience and value but less than expected.

This is a picture perfect home nestled in the Colorado Rockies. It was so warm and cozy, we stayed in all weekend, wind and snow, but we enjoyed being together. I will definitely book this one again!
❤️
We had some issues,
The lights:
Burned out bulbs and no replacements. Main living room and kitchen area.
The 2 bed queen suite:
There are 4 lamps - 1 worked.
My sister was electrocuted by one of the lights-Clearly nonfunctional.
One of the had no bulb, and one had no way to turn it on 🙄
I have pics if you want them.
Chairs/ stools:
There are several that are not sturdy- we just didn’t sit on them.
Kitchen:
I did have to wash several things before using. I didn’t mind it but, when you pay people to prepare a place for guests - it should be clean and ready.
These are small and easy fixes to a wonderful property.
Thank you for letting us enjoy a great 80th Birthday for my mother in Estes!
