Come enjoy a beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath condo in a small quaint complex directly on the beach - all within walking distance to awesome restaurants, shopping and fun things to do, you won't even have to drive your car after you arrive! Just down the stairs and through the pool area is the inviting and warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and miles of white sugar sand beaches for you to enjoy. Have a super fun day at the beach making memories, and then head back up to the heated beachfront pool and cook on the community grill for dinner on the sundeck. Everything you could need is within reach while you're staying at this awesome condo! This condo features 1,100 sqft of space for your family to spread out and enjoy. The living room is furnished with new comfortable furniture, plus a large smart TV, and overlooks the beach and sundeck. Unbelievable sunset views and dolphin watching right from your private balcony while sipping your morning coffee or happy hour beverage of choice! The kitchen and dining space are right off of the living room and everything is open concept to maximize your view of the beach from the wall of sliding glass doors. The gourmet kitchen is stocked with all the amenities of home, for cooking up your family's favorite meals or snacks. There is bar stool seating off of the kitchen and a full dining table next to the kitchen for meals together or maybe a game night! This beautiful condo has a king in the master with a TV, and an updated and private attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. There are two twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate your family of 6. We also have a king conversion kit for the twin beds to make an additional king-size bed for a second couple if needed. Enjoy staying connected and sharing your vacation photos with free wifi throughout the condo. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience, linens and towels are provided, and beach towels too. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, and some beach toys here for your use, too! There are two assigned covered parking spots for your use in the garage. There is no elevator at this building, but your condo is on the first floor, just one flight of stairs above the garage! You are within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and shops. CVS Drugstore is about 500 yards down the street. An award winning donut shop awaits you with fabulous confections and coffee. Be sure to go to the new SplashPark over by the Holiday Inn Harborside, steps from the condo. Visit the Clearwater Beach area for award winning beaches, amazing restaurants and nightlife. Enjoy wave runners, parasailing, Segway tours, dolphin tours, deep sea fishing, dinner cruises at the Clearwater Marina or rent paddleboards, boats or kayaks just south of you in Indian Shores at Island Marine Rentals. Make sure to go to Pier 60 for the nightly sunset celebration or check out Johns Pass to experience the waterfront restaurants, fabulous shopping and water excursions. Please note: The facility does not allow parties or events. There is no smoking allowed inside the unit or on the balcony. Thank you in advance for adhering to the NO SMOKING rules. This unit is NOT pet friendly. Absolutely No Pets. For the safety of your children and in consideration of other guests, parents must always supervise their children. The unit is being offered as a self-catering accommodation. The unit is stocked with a starting supply. Should you run out of anything during your stay, you will need to provide your own supplies. When we stay on the ocean, a clear full ocean view and easy beach access is our goal. This condo absolutely provided that. Pictures are very accurate.
Really appreciated the heated pool as it was early December. Coffee and ice cream right across street. Easily walk to a couple of seafood restaurants and a cantina we really enjoyed.
Convenient parking under building. Great location to go north or south to the many restaurants, shopping and activities.
Would definitely rent this unit again. Really enjoyed the balcony.

My gal pal group had a wonderful week in IRB. The condo was clean and well stocked. Beautifully decorated. Quiet beach and pool area. There are some restaurants close by that can easily be walked too. The best ice cream is just across the street. A perfect week for sure!

I would absolutely come back here again. The unit was clean, and well kept, had a well-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, beach toys, chairs, towels! The views are breathtaking. You couldn't ask for a better spot to watch the sunset. We sat right on the balcony and watched the sun going down. Beautiful. You are walking distance to many local restaurants, including Slyce, Crabby Bills and Keegans (short drive away). There is CVS which has everything! Like other reviewers have said, you will hear the people upstairs. You will hear them walking and the water running. But they never kept us up. But if you need complete quiet, you may want to look elsewhere. The street noise was not bad, even though it was spring break. There are a ton of things to do in the area, John's Pass, Clearwater beach, many activities, but the grandkids just wanted to go to the beach every day, which is what we did. The sand is soft, and white. It's so relaxing just sitting there on the beach while the kids played with other kids and by themselves.

The condo was just what we needed. Super clean & functional. Right on the beach with an awesome balcony for sunsets. If you're looking to be loud, rowdy, or party this complex isn't for you. The only downsides are you could hear the people above walking around in the condo above us & the condo is located next to a stoplight so getting in and out of the parking lot during heavy traffic can be difficult. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again.

We completely enjoyed our week in the unit. This was our first stay at Indian Rocks Beach and we plan on coming back! We would definitely stay at Island Sands again. The unit was well equipped. We had a super short walk to the beach. Our favorite part of the unit was the covered porch.

Amazing stay!
This property is so nice. I highly recommend. There’s a lot restaurants and shops close. The pool and private access to the beach would make it worth it alone. The condo is even stocked well. Great stay!

We loved Island Sands 203 and the views were amazing! We enjoyed having our morning coffee and meals out on our balcony. It is only steps to the beach, which was so convenient and we found many good restaurants within walking distance. The unit has all the necessities you need for a weeks stay. The property was very clean and the decor was lovely. The view was spectacular and access to the pool was nice along with very easy access to the beach just beyond the pool area. Beach chairs and such were provided along with towels and a basic supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and hand soap. No bath soap or shampoo though - so make sure to pack your own supply. The only cons for me were that the mattresses were too firm to my liking, but not unbearable. The biggest annoyance was the lack of sound proofing in the building. Street traffic was very audible and you could hear every movement of the occupants in the unit above. They were early risers too and had particularly heavy gaits and seemed to walk back and forth throughout their unit for most of the time we happened to be inside our unit - which we spent a lot of time outside, but when you want to relax or catch a nap or sleep in, it was most disruptive.

We so enjoyed our time there. We have been coming to Indian Rocks Beach for about 13 years and only strayed from island sands once and regretted it. The unit was great for us. We rarely were in the unit except to sleep and shower because the beach is just so nice and not crowded. Sue was great to work with! We are already planning next year and will be coming back!

We have stayed in this same condo three times. It is a perfect location for a quiet vacation with our family. The pool was well maintained, and the company texted us when we could get in, which was an hour early. Our only complaints are the master bath floor could use a redo and the master mattress was squeaky. Every move woke up anyone in the room. The upstairs neighbors were loud at odd hours, so that was frustrating. The condo had basics to get you started like toilet paper and soap. Kitchen was well equipped but could use one more cutting board.

Relaxing Vacation
Honestly one of the best family vacations by far! My husband and I and our 3 kids loved the convenience and cleanliness of this wonderful ocean front condo. We loved the beach supplies that were made available to us everything was absolutely perfect! With the beach and Pool steps away made it extremely easy for my family. We will definitely plan on coming back next year!!!!!

Loved it!!
Definitely a great property for the price. The beach access was the best, direct ocean front and literal steps to the beach. The view was amazing. Pool is small but really is all we needed. Condo is roomy, very cozy, nice decor, and we very much enjoyed the location. Couple things they could work on would be kitchen supplies particularly quality cookware and utensils. There was plenty of everything else. And you can hear the neighbors upstairs, but overall we were very happy with the property.

Could've Been Better, Could've Been Worse
Overall our stay was pleasant and we had a good vacation. The condo was comfortable and the location is convenient although it was sometimes difficult to get out of the parking lot as there is a major intersection just to the right. Traffic would back up and other folks weren't always willing to let you out. The rental agency was good to work with and very responsive.
Now for the "could've been better". In light of the current situation with Covid 19 we questioned the total cleanliness of the unit. We were told special steps were being taken for sanitization of the condo and I'm sure there were. However, out of an abundance of caution, we brought some of our own cleaning supplies to provide additional peace of mind. When I wiped down the counter surfaces in the kitchen using paper towels, they(the paper towels) were a bit grey and dirty looking which made us question just how good of a job was done on the rest of the condo. The master bedroom had a king size bed with a large wooden headboard. The bed was comfortable enough but every time either one of us moved the headboard would squeak and creak. It was bothersome enough to wake you up at night. If you're a heavy sleeper that might not be the case for you. Here is our biggest complaint- this unit is on the bottom level of the building. I have no idea what sort of construction was used when the building was put up but if there are people above you in the upstairs unit it sounds like they are going to come through your ceiling. It is no one's fault but we were lucky in that there was a family above us and they kept a reasonable schedule. If you were unlucky and had someone above you that liked to stay up late or did any sort of partying you might not get much rest. Just the walking around the people above us did wqs really loud in our unit. We have stayed in many condos in this area over the last 27 years and never have we had this kind of issue. Some folks might not be bothered by this sort of thing but for us it was annoying.
Overall we had a nice stay. I just don't know if we would stay again.
