This 800 sq feet upstairs apartment of a duplex features a small full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining table for 2, 1 full bathroom with large step-in shower, a large bedroom area with a medium firm queen bed, a couch/sofa bed, and High speed internet and a Smart TV. Washer/dryer available. Premium bedding, linens, and towels. There is a staircase with 17 steps leading up to the apartment. There is a large back yard with a nice patio area with seating, gas grill and private parking in the back and free on street parking in the front. Because of our close proximity to Louisville’s vibrant nightlife, the eclectic dining scene & shopping it’s no wonder visitors flock here to get a taste of something amazing! Walk to the hottest music and entertainment venue- Old Forester Paristown Hall! Don’t forget about Ky Derby and all the Bourbon Distilleries! We are the Napa Valley of Bourbon!!! The apartment is cozy and beautiful and also functional. We enjoyed the picturesque neighborhood, its coffee shops and restaurants. Downtown Louisville is very close; a few minutes by car.

Nice neighborhood with a great dive bar! Comfy bed. Looks just like the pictures. Had the pleasure of meeting Ken on the way out. Nice guy with lots of Louisville information! Plenty of space for comfort. Recommend!

We drove and had an event to attend at the Yum Center and Galt House hotel. It was about a 10 minute drive and parking downtown isn’t too expensive. A couple nice places to check out in the neighborhood. Recommend checking the VRBO app WHEN YOU ARRIVE for your checkin information. The information we received by email a few days before arriving to open the key box was not the same as the information that ended up opening the box. That was the only little glitch in our stay. We were comfortable there and would stay there again if back in town.

The property was wonderful! It was cute, clean and in a great location. Check in and out was easy. It was quiet, comfortable and everything we need for a weekend getaway. Will stay here again next time in Louisville!

We are here with my 15 year old for the National Archery competition. It was peaceful and restful. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling. We went to the museum before the competition. Karen and Ken are quietly available. The space was just as pictured. Even larger than I initially thought.

This was a great place to stay for my short trip to the area. The check-in process was really easy and the property was really clean. The bed and other furnishings were are all really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this rental.

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway to the bourbon trail! Walkable to nearby restaurants and bars in the evening. Property was extremely clean and just as described. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for a soccer tournament. The property was clean and well stocked for our stay. Cool historic neighborhood close to downtown with several restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

Karen's rentals are top notch. The entire process was effortless and the listing is just as described. There are 4 huge windows that make it very bright and beautiful; however, with me being a night shift nurse where I sleep all day, she has made it possible with these windows to also make the day light seem like night. (Which I greatly appreciated) The shower is huge and perfect. The temperature I never changed, so whatever she had it ok, IT was perfect. I did not cook anything, but everything was there if I needed to. The bed is amazing and very comfortable. The neighborhood was safe. I have nothing negative to say about my stay. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I stayed here three nights when we came into town to visit. The studio was perfect. Super clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of linens and pillows. The kitchen is very well stocked to cook basic meals. The stairs are long and a little steep but not a problem for us. The backyard area was a lovely space to relax. We would absolutely stay again!

Karen's place is an absolute gem. The studio is comfy, furnished with thoughtful touches, and is sparkling clean. This was a perfect home base for exploring Louisville. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

My friend and I stayed here for a CAAMP concert in town. Very easy to find a spot in front of the house to park. Super simple entry process! The decor was welcoming and it was such a big space! It was also very clean! We didn’t need to use the kitchen but I love that it was available. The added toiletries in the bathroom was an added bonus! And that bathroom…..😍 I will definitely look to stay here again when I am in the area! Thanks for sharing your awesome space with us!
