The unit is decorated in island style with a king size comfortable bed, flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. What’s really nice is at Lido you can park your car and walk (or bike) as everything you need is nearby. It’s not uncommon for our guests to Uber in for the week. Like the outdoors? Lido has parks on the north and south end and the kayak park is two blocks away. The beach is a block away and we provide beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. Hungry? It’s a 5 minute walk to famous St. Armand’s Circle with 15+ restaurants and upscale boutique shopping. Our favorite spots are at Tommy Bahamas restaurant watching the crowds go by while sipping a martini or on the patio at the Columbia with a pitcher of cava sangria made table side. Night on the town? Enjoy beautiful downtown Sarasota’s fine dining, theater, opera, ballet, art galleries, antique shops, and museums or just pass the time while strolling the shops of downtown Sarasota. Longboat key and Siesta Key are minutes away. Linens, towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler provided – just bring your toothbrush! If you forgot it – ask! We probably have it. And if you have to work (ugh!) there's free Wifi and a small desk in the unit. You name it and its nearby - golf, beach, bike, boat, sailing, some of the best fishing, fishing charters, aquariums, museums, shopping, wind surfing, kite boarding, swimming, great walking areas, theaters, opera, and on and on. Here is a sampling of what's nearby! •Ringling Museum (John Ringling was an art collector) •Segway Rentals (fun way to tour the town) •Selby Botanical Gardens (amazing display of orchids) •Mote Marine Aquarium (fish lovers place and great for kids) •Van Wezel Performing Arts Center •Marina Jacks (downtown on the water restaurant with a nice outdoor bar) •Ca’ d’Zan Mansion (John & Mable Ringling house) •Myakka State Park (gators and airboats) •Busch Gardens (hour north) •Sarasota Opera (located in the theatre district) •Kennedy Space Center (nice day trip) Two hours to Orlando attractions. Minutes to Sarasota airport and 1 hour to Tampa and St. Petersburg airports, parks, museums, sporting events.

We absolutely loved the condo and location. The condo is adorable, clean, as pictured and has everything you need. It’s homey, comfortable and quaint. We enjoyed walking to St Armand’s, Lido Beach is literally one block behind the condo, you can hear the ocean. We also drove to Ana Maria Island, Long Boat Key and Siesta Key! I would definitely stay here again without question…. 10/10. Very responsive host and she checked in mid-week to make sure we were doing ok.

I loved this property! One block from the beach and 10-15 minute walk to St. Armands circle. It was impeccably clean, quiet and had everything you need. Beach towels, beach chairs, small cooler, beach umbrella, etc,.. Great communication with owner as well.

Absolutely wonderful loved every moment spending time in this lovely condo. Everything you need is here. Lido Key Beach 3 min walk absolutely gorgeous. Saint Armands circle 5 min walk plenty of shopping and FOOD ! And there’s far too much to explore in the area. We need to come back! During our stay Janice looked after us as if we were a family member. Huge thank you and loads of love. We would love to return to this fabulous holiday home.

This was our second stay here. The condo had everything we needed with an ideal location for access to the beach and local shops and restaurants. Communication before and throughout our stay was excellent. We highly recommend staying here.

I needed to get away to write and think. This couldn't be a more perfect place. Quiet. Surrounded by nature. The birds always singing, the beach down the block. Everything about the stay and place was what I needed.

The property was clean, perfect for two or three people. The location couldn’t be more ideal. Only a block away from the beach and less than a mile from shops and restaurants. The owner provided a great book with tips for touring the area. She was very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I enjoyed staying at Jan's place. The apartment is very cozy, spacious and extremely clean. The attention to detail is spectacular. The location is perfect from the beach and St. Armands shops and restaurants. The covered parking is a plus and it is a very quiet complex. Jan was very attentive and checked with us making sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitively be back and will recommend to family and friends.

Janet was a wonderful hostess. She made suggestions of where to eat and a few activities. She has done a wonderful job making certain you have everything you need from spices to a cooler to beach towels. This location is very quiet and a quick walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Lido and plan to return.

The property is exactly as listed. Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The location was the best. A block and 1/2, your at the beach, 20 min. walk you are at St. Armands Circle.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. We like not having to use our car all week walked to beach restaurants and shops. We used the Bay Runner trolley if it was to far for us to walk that was a plus with no cost to use. Hoping to be able to go again soon

The apt itself is clean and beautifully furnished. However, it is quite claustrophobic. Felt almost underground in living area. Kitchen is well appointed but is completely enclosed with no windows. The AV and WiFi are extremely weak and limited. Constantly being bumped off WiFi and the TV programming limited to a few broadcast channels. Best to upgrade TV/WiFi and let people know how enclosed the unit is.

The location of this condo is great! We loved Lido Key Beach and are eager to return to the area. The only suggestion I have is that if you need to work remotely, the Internet is weak. I had to use the hotspot from my iPhone to be able to make connections. But other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you!

I came in town for a wedding & wanted some beach time. This was the perfect place for me. So convenient to the beach - a 5 minute walk or there's a parking lot close to the beach also. And it had everything I needed - beach chairs & umbrella & the kitchen had anything I needed to cook or eat. It was so convenient to Publix grocery store & to St. Armand's Circle, that has fun shopping & restaurants. It could not have been any better! And working with Jan was fantastic. She was so helpful if I had any questions. I hope I get to come again!
