Nestled in Santa Cruz, this attractive cottage for $178 per night is a great option for your next trip. COUPLES COTTAGE only no guest or parties. allowed..This cottage is fully furnished with stocked kitchenette, outdoor BBQ, flat screen TV, and Queen size bed with luxurious linens. Gated yard for your privacy and (1 small PET 20lbs or less...IS CONSIDERED WITH MANAGEMENT APPROVAL... You must get APPROVAL or you will be asked to leave. Pet fee $25.00 per night All pets are not to be left on the property inside or out if you are not there. No Aggressive animals. PLEASE NO SMOKERS!!! This little cottage is well cared for and we expect care and consideration from you for our things. I expect you to leave the unit as you have found it or additional charges may apply. This area offers many exciting dining options and activities within walking distance. Crows Nest Restaurant has excellent cuisine, ocean views, nightly entertainment and summer beach parties with outdoor music. Johnny Harborside Restaurant offers great seafood with harbor views. Cafe' EL Palomar has a Mexican cuisine and is a great place tom watch sport volleyball. Kind Grind is a coffee shop with pastries, smoothies,and a deli. Aldo Restaurant is on the dock and serves breakfast outdoors. Activities on the Harbor are abundant. Rent SUP Boards and stand up paddle through the harbor and bay with friends, kayak, or plan a cruise on the chardonnay II charter which offers many dining options while sailing on the Beautiful Monterey Bay, or just take a stroll and catch a glimpse of the seals and sea otters that love to play in the bay. Santa Cruz has 29 miles of beaches to explore, famous surfing spots from steamers lane to Pleasure Point, Capitola to Seascape and sunset Beaches.

Was originally going to keave a 4 out of 5 star review because i had to end up sleeping on the floor due to the mattresses being really lumpy and causing me severe back and neck pain in the morning. However, she is currently texting me claiming i left feces everywhere!!! She is also trying to charge me $200 to clean alleged feces. My husband and I cleaned the property before leaving and even sent her a message letting her know how we left the property clean. So bizarre. Do not recommend. Feels like she is trying to scam us for extra money.

Location is good, as you can walk to the beach. Host was nice enough to allow early check in. But ... floors so sticky we couldn't walk barefoot on them. Cheap, polyester sheets and bedding made for night sweating and no way to dry out. She went for 'beach' look instead of sleep comfort. Layout sucks since the wall she put the bed on doesn't allow room for two nightstands, so one person is out of luck. Kitchen had coffee and two coffee makers, so we thought we were set for that, BUT filters didn't fit either one, no sugar and only powdered vanilla (yuk) creamer. Bathroom switches not wired correctly, so you can't use the heat in there and light at the same time. No luggage rack in empty closet, so had to use the only seating in the room for luggage. Had 2 wine glasses, YAY, but ... couldn't even put them on the dining table, due to wobble and uneven wicker top. Suggest Lana that you stay there yourself one night and experience what your guests do. All this and you jacked the price $40/night before we booked. Glad it was only 2 days! Anne

This little studio is adorable. It was clean, nice light, quiet area, and close to the beach. It is a small but spacious studio, with enough kitchen to be comfortable, a nice bathroom, comfy mattress, wifi - great for a little weekend getaway for just two. It was perfect for my husband and me.

Strong disinfectant smell upon entering. Inadequate supply of glassware and dishes. Vanity light not working over bathroom sink. A studio, not a 1 bedroom as advertised. No stove. Fitted sheet elastic was gone so sheets were very wrinkled and uncomfortable by the 2nd night, making it difficult to sleep. Faint marks on linens were from mascara...try laundry soap and water...certainly not damage. Washing long hair twice left 8-10 hairs on dark drain, dramatically splayed out for photo op does not constitute filth. I carefully squeegied the shower 4x. Don't advertize 2 blocks from a beach (actually 3 1/2 blocks) and then call it damage if you find a little sand on the floor...simply mop/vacuum. NO private patio as stated. NOT dog friendly. An aggressive dog stays on the property. Small clump of doghair on rug is not damage when I paid a cleaning fee AND an extra pet fee for 4 nights. Lana fabricated photos of poop, pee staged to extract an extra $250 in "damages." The picture of dog poop is not even my dog who never had access to ANY grass. After the other dog on property attacked my dog, with Lanas permission, I blocked the opening between the two yards with a large bbq. Since she fabricated the poop picture, she likely also fabricated the urine in the toilet left unflushed, a flush fix not filth/damage in a dark bathroom. We did nothing but be courteous and were gone everyday. The drama and false accusations are beyond insulting.

The cottage was the perfect place for our Santa Cruz visit! It was very clean and had everything we needed! We loved that we could walk to the beach and had amazing meals at Aldo’s and Shadow Brook. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Cozy little cottage close to the beach. Very clean - hostess was very responsive. Cleaning lady Alisha was very pleasant and helpful with local recommendations. Twin Lakes Beach is right down the street and has a cool mexican restaurant. If you like a bit of a walk the Boardwalk and Wharf are within distance. Would love to stay again.

Nice house and location. House could use a few things. Towel rack in kitchen; more towel racks in bathroom.; luggage racks to put bags on; dish rack after washing dishes by hand. Tile floor was not clean when I wiped it with a damp cloth.

Very clean , nicely decorated. Access to laundry was very convenient and appreciated. Walk to downtown easy , loved the little seaside town . The drive to San Francisco 1.5 hours easy enough for sightseeing. Internet perfect

Very clean room. Very easy check in. Really appreciated Lana’s instructions through each step. I never had to call for follow up. Good location in city. Very quiet area. Soft sheets, ample and nice towels. We did not use kitchen but it appeared well stocked. Hair dryer worked well. Wish the shower could have been less cramped but that is the only downside.

At 1st we were overwhelmed with the Frebreeze air scents, but soon solved that by opening the lovely french doors on2 the patio. The weather was perfect & r travel smooth. We saw some foggy sunsets, indulged in Mediterranean, Italian & local fish cuisines, all very tasty! Friendly folks playing music & dancing in the streets! Midweek is not crowded, we never stood in line. Smiles & 🌇 sunsets....

I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.

Property has a great location in the heart of all there is to do in Santa Cruz. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach and harbor. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Perfect for us!

We love this property! It’s our second visit, this time in the back house. So clean and cute! The location is truly the best because it is just a couple blocks from the beach and there is a beach front coffee place close by. Will definitely stay again!

This property is located blocks from one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz. You have close access to great dining and coffee shops. The property itself is well maintained and you share a private back yard with the other rental house. We would definitely stay here again.
