About this house rental
Situated in Opal Cliffs, this charming house for $350 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Contemporary home that steps to the private end of Twin Lakes Beach. Blacks Beach has great swimming, surfing and skim boarding. Walk to the Harbor, Crow's Nest, Como di Lago, The kind Grind Coffee Shop and other great spots. Bike rentals available. Our house is fully equipped for your enjoyment. luxury towels, linens and down quilts. There are two master bedrooms (California king & two extra long twin beds) with full baths upstairs and balconies that have ocean view. There is a queen sofa bed downstairs with a half bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is indoor dining room seating for four and outdoor seating. A warm outdoor shower is located on the side yard and there is a tropical secluded patio in the backyard with gas BBQ, dining table and chairs. Skim boards, boogie boards and beach toys are provided. This home is perfect for two couples or a family. (2-6 occupancy). We will accept pets upon approval but there is an additional fee. Parties and Weddings are not allowed. The house was very clean and the rooms and beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked and room for all 6 of us to enjoy meals and on the patio. Location Location Location, just steps to Twin Lakes at the end of the street and a quaint market just up the street. With the vaulted ceiling in the living-room it gave a much more open feel. We really did enjoy our stay.

Laurie’s beach retreat exceeded our expectations. The listing made it look great but it was even better in person. From the adorable patio with gas grill, to the garage filled with beach towels, sand toys and beach chairs, Laurie thought of everything. We’ve been spending a week in Santa Barbara for the past couple of years but our regular spot was booked. Decided to stay closer to home and chose Santa Cruz. Our kids were bummed, but both said they liked this spot even more. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Laurie!

Our family of four plus our dog were in Santa Cruz for our daughter’s graduation at UCSC. We stayed for for 3 nights for the occasion. Location was perfect for everything we needed. We had a very busy schedule but did cook a few meals here and we had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable, home is well stocked and super clean.

The property was very clean and was accurately represented on the website. Two minutes from a terrific beach, and the beach toys, chairs and wagon were a huge selling point for us. We have already recommended this property to family and would definitely stay here again.

This house is an epitome of a beach cottage, yet modernized enough to make your stay incredibly comfortable and lovely. It has lots of natural light, and the decor throughout the house adds to the charm of staying near the beach.
The kitchen was well stocked, there were lot of books to read and enjoy, puzzles to solve. The layout of the house allows everyone enough room which we really liked. Beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy, and shower pressure was great. :)
The location is perfect, it is a quiet residential street ending in a cul-de-sac which is the entrance to the beach. So it literally a minute walk to the beach. Lots of beach gear which kids really appreciated.
All in all, it was a true five-star stay. Would be happy to come back again. Really appreciate the hosts' hospitality and generosity.

This was our first time staying on the East side and this was the perfect spot. Close to downtown, Pleasure Point and an easy drive to other spots of interest. The space was exactly what we needed, a solid primary bedroom with en suite and another bedroom for the kid with its own bath. Ample kitchen and relaxing backyard. We’d love to come back again!

Just got home from this gem of a home one block away from one of the many beautiful beaches in SC! We loved the location which is conveniently located walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The house was the perfect size for our family of four and our dog. The kitchen was a good size and was well stocked with cookware. The enclosed yard space was also useful for our dog. The owner was very easy to work with and provided all the necessary info we needed for a great trip. We’d absolutely would love to stay here again! Thank you!

House was at it was listed. The property manager came in a day before we were to check and left after an apology. The kitchen furniture is out door furniture and doesn't belong / fit in the space. Rest of the house was exactly as listed and we enjoyed our stay. The beach is exactly 1/2 block walk and in a good location to Santa Cruz activitities.

Loved our 1 week staying during Thanksgiving break. The house was much bigger than we anticipated. The bedrooms and on suite bathrooms were large. The house was immaculately cleaned and decorated perfectly for a beach house.
The kitchen had literally everything you needed to host meals, especially Thanksgiving lunch. There were tons of pot, pans and serving dishes and bowls.
The location was wonderful we walked to the beach each night for sunset and most mornings too. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was and how you could actually hear the waves and seals barking at night and early mornings.
I would love to stay here again.

The property was even better than expected. We had two adults + a dog, and we all had a great time in this awesome location. Access to the beach was easy with the available wagon to load up the beach chairs & umbrella & boogie board, since there's a choice of staircase or path down/up a slight hill.

The location of this house is incredible. Just a short walk to a great beach, farmers market on Sundays and the best breakfast burritos. Having the beach chairs, umbrella and wagon available for the beach made it so easy. Really comfortable king bed in the main bedroom. Well equipped kitchen. Could use an upgrade on the outdoor patio furniture, but hardly a deal breaker.

This is our second stay this year at this beach house. The best vrbo experience ever! Wonderful location just steps from a local neighborhood beach. House has everything you need and is very clean. We love cooking meals in the kitchen and layout of the home is so well designed. Was perfect for our dogs as well, outdoor shower and hose to clean them up after a day at the beach. The only sad thing is leaving because we love it so much:)

Had a perfect beach getaway with our family! You can't beat the location of this house! About 4-5 houses down and you're right on Twin Lakes beach! This is one of our favorite family beaches in Santa Cruz and our main draw for renting this house! House is clean and well stocked with all the amenities! We had zero issues during our stay. 10 min drive to boardwalk. We will come again!
