Welcome to Frog Hollow! Enjoy your mountain summer vacation in this wonderful private beachfront cabin! This house is rustic and well loved, and has been enjoyed by our family for 3 generations! Many guests have come back summer after summer to this happy home-away-from-home.
Right on the Eastern shore of Grand Lake, about 1 mile from the charming town of Grand Lake, the house is dog and kid friendly too.
Your group of mountain adventurers and water lovers will enjoy this comfortable, roomy and warm get away! The views from the entire house are second to none, you'll relish in the gorgeous mountain vistas every day and stunning sunsets in the evenings.
Right on the property enjoy any and all water activities! Bring your own kayak, canoe, sailboat, motorboat or jet ski! Shallow water is accessible via the sandy beach and dock, just steps away from the door! Or relax on the large deck and simply watch all the action... highly reommended...especially with a cool drink in hand!
If you have a larger boat, the house is walking distance to the Public Boat Launch/Dock at the East end of the Lake. Boats can be stored on trailers in that lot overnight (not on the property). There is also a dock at the house.
Bring along your fishing gear and fish for Kokanne salmon, rainbow, brown, brook and lake trout right at the beach or a short walk away in the East Inlet. Bring that big one home for dinner and BBQ it right on the deck.

Frog Hollow is the best waterfront property in Grand Lake for families that have young children, dogs, watercraft and fishing poles. My grand children ages 7 and 9 were able to play safely in the front yard for there is a private clean sandy beach where they can play in shallow water which kept them safe. Yes, there is excellent fishing right off the private dock. My grandchildren enjoyed playing on their paddle boards and knew to stay within the dock's perimeter. Any one that owns a Golden Retriever knows how much they love water. Our Golden Retriever thought he was in heaven because leaping off the dock to fetch his water toys was his favorite activity. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood which allows the renting families to enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of Mother Nature. Our favorite time of day was mornings when the lake was like a mirror with the morning sun warming one's face. Frog hollow is truly a little slice of heaven.

This honey, lived in rustic cabin was so comfortable for our party of 9. The incredible location, situated on Grand Lake, was so quiet, private, and beautiful. It was steps away from an incredible hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. My family fished everyday off the private dock, and every kid caught a fish! We loved it so much we are going to make it an annual thing!

Frog Hollow is such a special place. We saw geese, goslings, ducks, loons, pelicans, ospreys, and hummingbirds there. We kayaked from the shore and enjoyed many nights of card and board games. A heartfelt thank you to the owners who keep this fairly private and serene location pet-friendly. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation which included my 97-year-old mother (who could stay on a ground floor bedroom with just 3 steps in and out of the house) who agreed it was quite beautiful and unique.

We have been coming to this property for years and find it to be one of the most peaceful places to relax and enjoy Grand Lake with your own private beach. The location is spectacular!
