Situated in Emerald Isle, this lovely house for $493 per night is a great option for your next trip. We are "locals" in Emerald Isle, and pleased to host you in our cozy oceanfront home, Sea Star. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a fun gathering place for the family, or an exciting fishing destination, Sea Star is the place to be! This lovely sea cottage features two separate sides for individual families, or you may book both sides for large groups! Each side sleeps 9 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms, and each side has two full baths, one downstairs and one upstairs. Kitchens have full amenities, and the quaint furnishings & breezy colors bring the essence of the seashore inside! Each side has 3 large flat-screen TVs with Spectrum TV cable and high-speed internet. In addition to being just steps from the surf, Sea Star boasts million-dollar views from both deck-levels. You will enjoy hours of relaxation on the expansive decks below, and some upstairs bedrooms offer sliding glass doors with a deck, tall viewing chairs and unmatched vistas of the sparkling sands and crystal water. Sip a glass of wine from the upper deck as the sun sets, then create a masterpiece in the kitchen - with freshly-caught local seafood, of course! This listing is for Sea Star West (VRBO #1145098). We had a wonderful time staying in Sea Star West! We loved the private beach access, the kids loved the beach toys that were available to them, the fresh water hose and shower were especially helpful! Beach chairs were also available. We enjoyed meeting the owner and his family who happened to be on the East side! The arrival treat was very welcome and appreciated on the hot day!
When we arrived late in the day there were no linens or towels and were to be provided since we were renting for 7 days. We called the owner and with that one phone call we had delivery of them within 20 minutes. The outside deck spaces were ample and seating was plentiful. Unit was well decorated.

The beach house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The storage room under the house full of beach toys, chairs, games, and an umbrella was a pleasant surprise. We made good use of the laundry room and grill. Overall a lovely property in a very quiet stretch of EI but still only a quick drive to the restaurants and stores.

This property is clean, spacious, and is steps from the beach. We loved being able to just run back inside to grab something we forgot or step back onto the deck to eat some lunch. The beach itself is not crowded and lovely. The location is convenient - close to any stores you would want. The laundry schedule makes sharing the laundry with the other unit extremely easy. There are tons of toys and chairs and anything you could want in the storage area. There is ample seating and good wifi so when it rained one afternoon, we all had a good time hanging out in the living room. The hosts are extremely kind and gracious. They are very responsive to any questions you might have. There is a checkout list that makes wrapping up your trip a breeze.
The only reason we may not return to this property is that the beds were way too firm for anyone in our group. No one slept very well because we are not used to that level of firmness. We ended up putting blankets underneath us to cushion it a bit but it wasn't enough. It seems as though most people in the reviews don't have that problem so if firm beds don't bother you - definitely book this property, it is wonderful!

Wonderful first visit to EI!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Emerald Isle and that was largely due to this great property. The house is very clean and well maintained. The oceanfront location is fantastic!
Max was great at answering questions and keeping us informed so that all logistics went smoothly. And Max thanks so much for special treat.

I treated my high school aged kids and a few friends to a spring break trip and this was the perfect home! Open living, dining and kitchen gave us plenty of space to move about and still be together. Waking up to unobstructed views of the beach and water was a nice perk. Home was clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay over spring break! The grandsons loved visiting the Aquarium and even a couple quick dips in the chilly Atlantic. Easter sunrise was breathtaking from the deck. Well appointed vacation home!

The Sea Star was perfect for our group of 5 who have been friends for over 40 yrs. It was clean, decorated nicely with functional furniture. The upstairs and downstairs decks provided a fabulous view of the beach and ocean, just steps away. There are great restaurants close by and we enjoyed Kathryn’s, Lazzaro’s pizza, Gaffers and Trading Post for breakfast with delicious bloody Mary’s. Our stay was fabulous and we would definitely return for another stay if possible!

Great Front Row Location
We had a great time at Sea Star. Helen was a very gracious host who provided excellent instructions, helpful suggestions, and timely communication. The location is perfect with lots of good views from the main floor and bedrooms. We also enjoyed the shower and hose off area half way up the boardwalk from the beach where we could hose ourselves and equipment off to keep sand out of the house. The house is cozy and well appointed. A great option for a relaxing beach vacation.

We sat out on the deck and ate at the picnic table. Cooked on the outside grill.It was nice. We would definitely go back. It was plenty of room for the four adults.

Can’t get a better location! The upper deck was spectacular for watching the sunrise and dolphins playing in the waves. We loved having lunch on the picnic table on the lower deck with the ocean right behind us. We appreciated how clean the space was as well! Really great beach house.

Great house
Seating in the living room was a challenge for nine adults, but we were able to bring a few chairs from the bedrooms to make it work. If possible, a great low-cost upgrade would be an ice maker in the freezer. Overall, very happy with the stay.

Wonderful Week!
We had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Helen was very communicative (even offering ideas for activities) and very responsive to any concerns. Rented bikes and rode all over the island, which was our favorite! Also enjoyed the gorgeous views from both balconies. A great get-away!

Stunning views!
We enjoyed this beach house so much! It was nice to relax on both decks, listen to the waves, and see the stars! We even saw a planet or two! The home was very comfortable for our family. Very clean and the perfect amount of seating too for a rainy movie day. We asked for restaurant suggestions from the owner and were not disappointed with the recommendations as well! We cooked in a several nights, a good day, movie day, and a trip to the pier. But even with those activities we made it down to the beach every day! So perfect to be ocean front , you can’t beat it !

The Sea Star slept 9 people comfortably. Location was great. No problems with neighbors. The owners were very accomodating and helpful. I am hoping to use the place in the future. Close driving distance to many sights and nice restaraunts. Loved my stay.
