This is one of Lummi Island's finest vacation rental homes. 2500 sq ft home built on the waters edge with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Bedrooms have decks directly over the water. 250' of private pebble beach perfect for finding agates and other colorful stones. Beautiful Rosario Strait views from every window in the house. Regulation bocce court, fire pit, and extensive decks on property. Lovely home interior and deck situated right above the water. Watched sea otters and boat activity. We enjoyed our stay here and had great weather. Owner was very attentive to our questions. A bit of deferred maintenance on the exterior of property, overall GREAT STAY!

Our daughter stayed at Marina House with her bridal party this past weekend. The party loved the location (how could you not!) and special touches in the home.
They were comfortable and cozy with the house and felt like they had what they needed for a fantastic visit at a very exciting and celebratory time.

Everything great. A few deficits. Needed to buy TP & paper towels. No backup.
laundry. No metal spatula or tongs that worked for grill. No recycle bin.
Positives: the view is incredible. The Lunmi reservation were dropping nets in front of house. This as an unexpected highlight. We read up on this process and really enjoyed how they fish. Had a friend able to do a beach landing and take us crabbing. Sunset Beach, nearby by was special during low tide. đđ

Such a beautiful home with everything you would ever need! Very comfortable for 3 couples with private bed/bath rooms. Spent the days crabbing, kayaking, walking on the beach and relaxing. It was the perfect place to celebrate my 60th birthday with my favorite people!

We had some concerns about owner attentiveness. Bags of wet garbage and recycling from previous occupants were left in the boat house. Animals tore into the bags and scattered trash around. We let the owners know and they said they would deal with it but didn't. We cleaned up the mess. One of the big picture windows has a blown seal so is obscured by condensation. Windows needed cleaning. Propane grill in the boat house was filthy. Stove burners are hard to light and oven takes forever to get up to heat. But the house interior was clean.
Despite these issues, we would recommend this place. The owners will hopefully step up their focus a bit.

Beautiful waterfront home. Wonderfully setup for traveling with family or friends. Loved waking up to the sound of that waves and watching sunsets at night.

We have been coming here for years Mark is a great host! Extra bedding, towels and filtered water were provided. We brought all the toys, bikes, small sailboat, kayaks, and standup paddle boards! All were used as the weather was great.

Spectacular view and great location
Views from the deck are really the best. You can see so much of the San Juans. We were also visited by an otter and an eagle likes to perch in the boat ramp every morning. No orca sightings this time but itâs in a great location for it. Lummi is a great island if you like quiet and relaxing. The house is really excellent also.

What a wonderful getaway!
This is a return visit for us â we love the place so much. Hard to beat the location (right on the water and the spray from the waves hits the windows in a storm) with cows across the road, eagles perched on the trees down the road and miles of water in front of you. The house itself is very comfortable. The kitchen is pretty well equipped for most casual cooking and the layout is great for some shared preparation. Three bedrooms all with their own bath (and very comfortable beds) makes this a perfect place for a couples weekend.

Excellent in All Respects!
We have enjoyed the Marina House five different times, which speaks so well to the accommodations, location, and the incredible hosts.
Very comfortable, incredible views, large, well-equipped kitchen, three en-suite bathrooms, perfect for three couples, large dining area, and much more for a weekend or more.
Above all, Mark and Amy are excellent, accommodating hosts, which we very much appreciated!

Excellent stay on Lummi
The Marina House is a wonderful house and property with outstanding panoramic views (inside and out). The house itself is very comfortable (including the beds) with a well-appointed kitchen. Communication with the hosts was prompt and helpful and check in was easy. We brought bikes and enjoyed riding around the island from the house, hanging out on the beaches, chatting with locals as they took boats out, observing the wildlife (bald eagles, otters, seals; no orcas but heard they were nearby), and enjoying the deck. We kept the shades closed in the bedrooms during the day when it was sunny and had no issues with temperature.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT. Itâs always hard for me to have to leave a less than perfect review because I know most VRBO owners mean well and donât realize the issues their rentals have from an outside perspective. These owners were so kind and really tried and I have to start by saying I would definitely come back here!
Below is a list of pros and cons for this property during our 4 night stay just for sake of being honest and helpful:
Pros:
Location is insanely cool with the water right there behind the house
Quiet street
So much outdoor space
Great comfortable beds and bedding
Large and new kitchen with two sinks and a water view, a chef would be happy here they seem to have a lot to offer (even great dish set and tools)
Dining room and dining set are quality and there is kitchen bar seating too
Great patio couch and chair on deck for overlooking water
Awesome fire pit location on side yard
Bright natural lighting throughout home
Easy on site parking
Lots of DVDs and games for family
They have a wine fridge (we didn't use)
Neutral:
One plastic chair on master deck, would be nice to have two good chairs there :)
Donât blame the owners but it was very hot at night because of the heat. Not enough fans available to help us beat the heat as there is no AC or screens on windows to keep bugs out if you want air flow
L-shaped leather couch is not the best (very worn and cushion and pieces slide apart)
Cons:
My main issue- The house wasnât very clean, floors dirty, toys under furniture weren't put away, upstairs bathtub was dirty and had no hand soap refilled, the dining table had crumbs embedded on it and was sticky, and upon arrival at 4:38 the housekeeping was still there rushing to leave and the dishwasher had just been run so I had to put someone elseâs dishes away and they weren't even that clean and had food stuck to some items.
Spa was uninviting, needs a cleaning and smelled bad (mildew-like) so we skipped going in
Gazebo seems to be a storage (but it has a lot of potential) - it probably shouldnât be advertised as a gazebo, there are chairs inside and a BBQ but thereâs junk all around and itâs not nice looking or useful in there right now.
All this being said- IT IS AN AWESOME HOUSE especially for the nightly rate and we highly recommend you come stay here if you're looking for a family or couple's getaway. The people on the island were so kind and it felt very safe here.

The kitchen is great. Love the 2 sinks - one for vegetable prep, one for cleaning. And the nice big dining room table. We spent hours there. Not just eating, but playing games and doing puzzles. Great location with a perfect view.
