About this cabin rental
Nestled in Three Rivers, this attractive cabin for $395 per night is a great choice for your next trip. The Sequoia River Cabin is nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, in a quaint hamlet known as Three Rivers, Gateway to the Sequoias. We are just 5 minutes (5 miles) to the Ash Mountain entrance of Sequoia National Park. Our cute and cozy cabin has a well-equipped kitchen and a propane BBQ off the back deck. The cabin is ideal for a couple. The rear deck is just steps away from the Main Fork of the Kaweah River. We are conveniently located on Sierra Drive, the main road through town, with the main fork of the Kaweah River just steps from the back deck. The private river setting allows for a true romantic getaway. There is a fire pit by the river to enjoy an evening fire and we do supply firewood. Relax in the Sundance Spa on the back deck, listen to the sounds of the river and marvel at the Blue Heron and various duck species that call the river home. You just might see some deer at the river's edge. If you enjoy fishing, you may fish in the river behind the cabin. In the evening, relax in the lounge chairs by the river and be mesmerized by the spectacular star-studded night sky. In springtime, you can sit on the deck and catch a glimpse of the whitewater rafters and kayakers as they make their way down the river. We offer plush towels, quality linens and we also provide bath amenities for our guests. DirecTV and high-speed Spectrum WiFi are available as well. This historic cabin was originally built as a fishing retreat decades ago and has evolved a number of times since then. In the '70s it was Little Rainbow, the workshop of our local silversmith. After that it became a private residence, and later a trendy coffee house named The Cabin. The Cabin later became The Buckaroo, also a coffee house/burger joint. TRAVEL INSURANCE ***It is essential for our guests to have travel insurance. VRBO’s travel insurance is very inexpensive for your peace of mind. We are located in a Fire Hazard Severity Zone. Fire season is typically August - October. In the event that a last-minute travel disruption occurs, we ask that you are covered as we don't issue refunds or extend stays due to usually being fully booked — and recommend you contact your insurer to assist with the cost of disrupted travel arrangements. PLEASE NOTE: Refunds will not be made due to circumstances that are not in the control of the owners such as, but not limited to, National Park closures, road closures to the National Park, weather conditions, power outages, internet outages, provided these circumstances do not make the property uninhabitable.

They didnt miss a detail, well kept, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing, & everything we were hoping for right before the Holidays. We didnt see any bears but we got a couple deer and loved it. Perfect for wine and sunsets or coffee and sunrise ! We will be back for another visit, Jami & Matt

We were absolutely blown away by all of the attention to detail and all of the extra touches from the property owners. From the minute we walked in, we felt like me were at a couples spa on the river! From the scents to the decor… everything is so well done. The indoor fireplace, outdoor hot tub and outdoor beach/deck area with fire pit made this stay one of a kind. This location made our top 2 of all the places we have stayed. The location is great for local food, coffee, shopping and adult beverages. We had a blast and we were able to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National parks. What a gem! Made great memories here and will be telling others about this beautiful home away from home!

This property is a true gem! The front of the property is unassuming but as soon as we entered the front gate, we were transported to a private haven that exceeded our expectations! It was so private and beautiful! We loved the special touches to the property like, the fire pit, lounging chairs w/shade umbrella by the bubbling river and an inviting patio with a hot tub. The river was so peaceful! I felt all of the stress of daily life leave my mind when sitting on the patio listening to the river and watching the hummingbirds! The cabin is decorated beautifully and very cozy with a gas fire stove ( perfect on the cooler evenings we spent there). The amenities in the cabin were perfect! We could tell the hosts have done this before! Loved the special touches like toiletries, soft plush towels, robes and slippers, box of “ things you may have forgotten”, snacks to take with you to the national parks, candies at bedside and yummy selection of coffees and teas. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Sequoia River Cabin and will be visiting again soon. If you are looking for a romantic vacation to the Sequoias or Kings Canyon, book this place…you will not be disappointed!

Just like the scenery, pictures do not do this cabin justice. It is very beautiful and well maintained. Owners are very responsive and the cabin is stocked with anything you may have forgotten. Leaving was tough, but I hope to stay here again in the future

I cannot say enough good things about the Sequoia River Cabin. The hosts truly treat this cabin like it is their own home. I have stayed at a lot of rental homes and this is the cleanest, most thoughtfully appointed home I’ve stayed in.
They have thought of every detail. We cooked a lot in the cabin and the cookware, utensils, appliances provided are very nice. I felt like I was cooking in my own home. They provide beyond basic spices, oil, condiments, ice, “Common things you may have forgotten,” first aid kit. The bed was comfortable and they even provide a sound machine. The list of comforts goes on and on. All of this in addition to a welcoming bottle of wine!
The cabin location is stunning. The river that runs through the back is gorgeous with lots of wildlife to watch. We loved the hummingbird feeder and ate all of our meals on the deck with the company of the little birds. We were a short drive to the entrance of Sequoia park which was lovely since it’s a long drive into the park to find hikes. You are in the heart of Three Rivers.. it is a lovely town with lots of dining/coffee options… we didn’t dine out much but we did go to the local grocery for good meat for grilling!
The hosts are very responsive and extremely kind and accommodating. I really hope to return to explore the parks more and will be happy to stay here again. I will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic place to stay and relax. Everything is just so. The river is beautiful, do get the chairs out and sit in it cooling off and listening to the river go downstream. Sun beds, outside dining, great jacuzzi. Inside is equally impressive. Kitchen, coffe, kettle, bottle of wine on entering, chocolates. Nothing bad to note, great place.

We love everything about this beautiful cabin by the river. The owners have made their cabin a private luxurious retreat! The cabin was well stocked with anything we could possibly need. The setting by the river is beautiful and we had our own private sandy beach. The interior is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!

This place was perfect for some relaxation after doing three National Parks. Unfortunately the road was closed to the closest Sequoia entrance but we had a great stay. This one has all the little extras to make it easy to just want to hang out and catch up. The hot tub was perfect after our long hikes. Hosts were great and provided quick responses and awesome detailed information about nearby attractions and restaurants.

The house is perfect for a solo or duo trip. The location is amazing if youre trying to get away from the feeling of a city, youre in nature (met a bear in the process). Unfortunately the road to the Sequoias was closed, but theres a longer altermate route. Worth it worth it worth. Im coming back.

When you arrive, you are greeted with sounds of the river, beautiful views of the mountains in all directions, hummingbirds, and a tranquil backyard. For those who live the outdoors, the River Cabin has it all. Gas grill, fire pit (with wood), lounge river chairs, hot tub, and amazing table and chairs to sit on the deck. You then make your way inside the cabin to an open floor concept with kitchen, living, and a little dinning space. There are so many creature comforts making you feel right at home. Fully stocked kitchen, fire place for those cold nights, blankets and a beautiful picture window to lounge in. The bathroom and shower room makes you feel like you are at a spa. Lots of towels, plenty of extra toiletries (incase you forgot anything), and an easy walk to the hot tub.
You will have easy access to the town for dining out, hiking spots, and the Sequoia National park.
We contact the owners and had no issues with their quick responses. They are awesome hosts and we will definitely choose to come back to the cabin in the future. This is definitely a gem of Three Rivers.

Sequoia River Cottage is absolutely charming indoors and out. It's located on a beautiful stretch of the Kaweah River, surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery on both sides. You can dine on the deck or relax by the water in complete privacy. It's so peaceful, especially in the evening under the stars and string lights!
The interior of the cabin has a spa-like feel. Everything is sparkling clean and in pristine condition, and the finishes are top-of-the-line. There were too many thoughtful details to count.
We felt at home right away and can't wait to return. Thank you, Richard and Jeanie! You are amazing hosts!

We selected this property in Three Rivers as our base to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPs. Although conveniently located on the main road through town, the deck and yard along the river created a peaceful oasis. The very active hummingbirds were a surprise bonus.
The kitchen, living room with reading nook, and bath were very well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The attention to detail by Richard and Jeanie was amazing, with snacks, coffee/Nespresso pods, and "in case you forgot them" toiletries.

This was a beautiful Cabin. It had all the comforts of home with a well stocked kitchen. It also had all the luxury of a nice hotel from robes and slippers to chocolates on your pillow. We were very comfortable here during our stay in the area. We filled our time in the parks but this would be a wonderful place to be all day. It was private but in a bustling section of town. We loved it

This cabin was amazing in every way. If we could give it more stars, we would. It’s the perfect private peaceful getaway. It’s super clean, classy, and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
After enjoying the wonders of Sequoia it was lovely to have such an awesome place to return to. Having dinner on the deck and then enjoying a glass of wine in the jacuzzi while listening to the river roar by, was magical!!!

Peaceful retreat
We wanted an escape to a cabin by a river… boy we found it! The pictures looked great, reviews great and we were thrilled to find it even better than we anticipated! The cabin was clean, organized, cozy and had so many well thought out details! You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into every choice they’ve made. So many little amenities to make you feel at home. We immediately sent videos and pictures to friends who we know would love it too and told them to book a stay! We hope to return again next year! We stayed at many rentals before and this is by far the best we’ve stayed in. We are in the process of owning our own short term rental in another area and we took lots of notes to follow their example how to do it right!!
