House sleeps 6-8 comfortably. 3 bedrooms and loft include: (2) QUEENS (4) TWINS; (1) FULL futon couch. Our beach house includes: (2) Bathrooms, (2) Outdoor Showers, Hot Tub, fully equipped Kitchen with Flex Coffee Maker (coffee pot & pod options), Microwave, Blender, Crockpot, Dishwasher, Wi-Fi and Cable (3 TV's). Laundry/Storage Room below the house includes the Washer/Dryer, Beach Buggie, Beach Chairs, Beach Toys, Metal Detector and Sports Equipment. Outdoor entertaining includes a Weber grill, (2) picnic tables, (2) rockers, (2) lounge chairs and Adirondack chairs to relax in & enjoy your vacation!! Located at Milepost 4.5 you are within walking distance to the 4.5 MP Shopping Center that has an awesome Italian and Asian restaurant, Coffee shop, clothing boutique, and salon to pamper yourself while on vacation. The property is perfect! Exactly as described in the listing. Location was very close to the beach. Well equipped all around with kitchen and beach supplies. Hot tub was very nice after a long day at the beach. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!

Everything was great! Super location and super price! Enjoyed the area and restaurants plus all the house ammenities. A bit warm upstairs, but cooler in the evenings for sleeping. Host provided wonderful information and was very kind! Highly recommend Sandy Cheeks!

This house has all you need and more. So many amenities to keep you occupied, even on a rainy day. Location is perfect...and price is more then fair for what you get. A bright cheery up to date home. Hot tub was amazing. Plenty of room. Upstairs is great for kids or adults who want to have their own space. Will be booking again next time I come!! Owner communication was great as well. Overall couldnt ask for better!!

Sandy Cheeks was perfect for our first trip to OBX. The house is immaculate and well stocked with everything you need for a great beach vacation. Beach access is a 2 minute walk. Mary was great and very responsive. Can’t wait to come back to OBX. Highly recommended.

Super clean and convenient!! This was a lovely rental very close walk to the beach and right off the main road to all of the shops and restaurants. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Mary was a wonderful host who took time out of her day to check in with us and give us a heads up about things happening.

We spent the week at Sandy Cheeks and it was amazing. About a 2 min walk to beach and close to all the local places to visit. While here we went to Equine Adventures and rode horses on the beach. It was a great week and the hosts were a delight to work with!!

Sandy Cheeks met our expectations. Great location with short walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Beach chairs provided which is a plus. Mary was easy to work with and responsive. Overall very nice experience.

The location of this place is ideal. The walk to the beach was manageable with our three kids under age 6. The size of the house was perfect and accommodating. Mary was great to work with and none of us got “blisters.” We will definitely be returning to this place!

We had the best week staying at Sandy Cheeks. Not needing keys to come and go was immediately appreciated, the combination locks are such a good idea. The house was the perfect size for our young family of five. Our oldest kids loved sleeping in the loft and watching movies on the TV upstairs. The two outdoor showers were hugely helpful everyday, as were the beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and most of all the beach buggy. Being so close to the beach was wonderful, we walked there for sunrise on several occasions. This was such a great trip for us we are looking forward to repeating one day.

The house was very clean and comfortable, extremely well stocked, and helpfully labeled. Our family of 7 fit perfectly. Great communication from Mary. We had zero problems. I loved the outdoor showers and my husband loved the hot tub. Lots of places within walking distance. The area is not too crowded or 'touristy'. I took many long bike rides along the bayside multi-use trails. The beach was only a bit crowded mid-day. Morning and evening were quite peaceful. We loved watching the crabs at sunrise and flying kites in the evening. Perfect all around.

We have been going to the beach for ten years or more, at least one time a year if not more. This is by far the best beach experience we have had. The walk to the beach is almost as close as when we have stayed actually on the beach, by the time we climb over the dunes, the distance is really not much different. It is a lovely beach too, and made great by all of the generous beach "toys" which made packing really easy. Mary is very organized and efficient in communicating about the property and things to do in the area. It was a great week!

My husband and I stayed at Sandy Cheeks with our four young children (8,6,4,2) and made the most AMAZING memories. Upon arrival we were impressed with the cleanliness and open concept of the living portion of the house. The kitchen was stocked wonderfully as we cooked most meals. The occasional John’s visit was a must and is easily walkable! The convenience to the beach was perfect with kids. We had an afternoon storm every day but it perfectly coincided with a nap or hot tub time and again the walking distance was a breeze. The beach cart provided was insanely helpful along with the chairs and beach toys. The double outdoor shower was a pleasant surprise with a larger family. The loft was a great space to hang and watch tv when the kids went to bed. We are very excited to head back to Sandy Cheeks soon. Mary was easily accessible and helped with whatever we needed. We had a comfortable stay with everything we needed at this cozy house. Mary could not have been more helpful and friendly in our communication. The internet was not reliable and we did have to go elsewhere for internet when we needed it for a few work things. We would absolutely choose this house again, even with that.

All the beach accessories you can imagine, beach games, board games, books, puzzles, hot tub, big dinning room table perfect for puzzle building and so much more.
