Newly remodeled condo with high end cabinets, granite counter top kitchen, all new stainless steel appliances. New bathroom cabinet and granite counter . Our oceanfront studio condo is on the 4th floor of the only beach front property in Lahaina- The Lahaina Shores Beach Resort. The resort is located in West Maui at 475 Front street, Lahaina, walking distance to the quaint, historic Lahaina town with many types of restaurants and shops, and marina where ferry to other islands and excursion boats depart . Lahaina Shores is a 7 story plantation style building with 199 individually owned condos. The resort is well decorated and maintained and operated as a condo-tel with 24/7 service. Located right next door to Lahaina Shores is the 505 shopping complex, a charming, small shopping center with two of Lahaina's best rated restaurants, plus many shops and a convenience store.
The condo has the most spectacular view of the ocean and island of Lanai and sometimes whales (in winter). It is on the quiet end of the building, the only sound you hear is the ocean waves. The sandy beach in front of the resort is protected by a natural reef barrier making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, paddle board surfing. There are many things to do at Lahaina Shores, you can take in some sun on the lawn or the beach right outside the property, frolicking in the the swimming pool, relaxing in the Jacuzzi spa, enjoy a drink on the lanai watching sunset and listening to the rolling waves.
The condo is well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dinning table, flat screen TV, VCR-DVD player, free Wi-Fi, private lanai with table and chairs, shower-tub combo, queen-size bed and an airbed if needed.
There are beach towels, umbrella, beach chairs, beach mats, boogie boards and cooler for your enjoyment.

Our stay was good. Very peaceful. Could use a few things in the room. Need more beach chairs. Pans were not good for cooking, need new non stick ones. But for overall, we were happy and would visit again.

This is a great property in a great location. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The unit was clean, but slightly dated, especially the bathroom. The check-in process itself was smooth. It costs 15/day to park in the lot. We arrived just before midnight and the lot was full, so had to coordinate with the receptionist to park along the entrance to the property. The check-out instructions were somewhat vague, including if/where to take out the garbage.

My wife called this "A CONDO FROM HELL" Beach chairs were trash and broken, smoke alarm dismantled, no hair dryer in bathroom just bracket on wall, had to fix garbage disposal, electric broom handle was broken, stayed 27 nights and no toilet brush, 1 wine glass, closet sliding door guides broke and on and on plus kitchen flooded due to faucet failure and lucky my wife was at condo at the time . Oh well pointless to say anymore.
Did ask host for some sort of refund and said he would see but never heard if he would or would not. Host was advised of all the problems. Enough said and glad we are gone from that condo. This was our 23rd trip to Hawaii and ONLY time we experienced this nightmare. Fyi kitchen faucet replaced 25 hours later
Have to say host said he was not aware of what we encountered but did advise him to make sure beach chairs were taken out of service before a possible injury to a guest due to a broken in half metal leg of chair was severed. Just frustrating
