Enjoy this charming, beach house with HOT TUB on a quiet street just 1/2 a block from famous surf beach AND a quiet, sandy family friendly beach (Permit 211215 - expires 10/20/26) Our home has 3 bedrooms (including a downstairs private master bedroom suite with full bathroom, kitchenette and private access to outdoor patio and hot tub), 2 full baths. This home away from home has it all: leather sectional, 65" SONY Ultra HD 4K TV, with ROKU to control SONOs sound bar/TV, fully equipped kitchen with waffle maker, rice cooker and coffee grinder, a kitchenette in the master bedroom suite, spacious living/dining room with stereo with iPod connection, cable TV, DVD/VCR and gas fireplace and landscaped private patio area, with HOT TUB. There is a 6 burner gas grill . Free wireless internet. Wi-Fi. EEROS WIFI repeaters to ensure high performance and internet access throughout the house and patios. In addition, you will find a garage full of surfboards, bikes (6 adult - 2 child), beach chairs, boogie boards, beach wagon and sand toys for your fun in the sun. Feel free to use our SURFBOARDs! Park your car here for a week and never drive again as a plethora of shops and restaurants as well as bike and walking trails are steps away. Of course, you can walk to world class surfing and then retreat to your outdoor shower and toasty hot tub in private garden! BEDS AND BATHS Downstairs Master Suite, with large granite counter kitchenette. In suite bathroom. Access to garden patio and hot tub. Upstairs: 65' SONY Ultra HD 4K TV with DVR, SONOs sound bar and ROKU to manage your Apps and favorite stations. Upstairs Bedroom #2, with a sliding glass doors to sunny deck, has one queen sized bed. Upstairs Bedroom #3 features a trundle bed, surf themed comforters, a large window. The two guest bedrooms share a full bath which includes tub/shower, towels, and bath amenities. LIVING AREA The kitchen with easy access to sunny deck with BBQs and outdoor sitting area. Large capacity new dishwasher and microwave, fully stocked with pans, cutlery, many kitchen appliance sand dishes, as well as condiments. Soaps included. The dining area accommodates seating for up to 6 people. The spacious living room is appointed with casual seating (leather sectional) for viewing the 65" Ultra HD TV and SONOs sound bar. The couch is a sofa bed. Plenty of room for the entire family. Garage is stocked with full size washer and dryer. Detergent is included. PATIOS Enjoy the sunny back patio, surrounded by tropical garden that includes sitting area and hot tub. The private back deck is set up for with two BBQs and sitting area with peeks to the Pacific Ocean. Patio seating for 6-8 with table and supplemental chairs. ACTIVITIES The main attraction, is of course the beach, and the house is only a half a block away. Surf, relax and play in the sand, boogie board, play beach volleyball and enjoy fabulous sunsets. Have a bonfire in the sand! Bike ride along East Cliff Drive or hike in the Santa Cruz hills; there is something for everyone! Relax on the deck and enjoy your sunset! This home was very warm and inviting. It’s a 2-story with a studio downstairs where the roomy foyer is, including the master bedroom, a kitchenette, roomy bathroom, and patio with hot tub. Upstairs is a large sitting/living room with a spacious, super cushyleather sofa and several chairs, to relax with Netflix+. The dining area and main kitchen are also upstairs along with 2 bedrooms and a back porch that leads to the deck where we had our dinners. The beds were comfortable. This house has an airy, roomy, homey feel. In addition, the house’s street was a small cut-out from the main road, nice and quiet. We loved it and plan to return. Access to the beach is just down the street, or you can walk directly around the corner for a beautiful ocean watching spot with a sitting area. We did both. Very enjoyable!

Perfect place for our family - all the gear for fun days at the beach (boogie boards, towels, bikes) and enough room for everyone. The host shared some great restaurant and beach tips beforehand which proved to be spot-on. We'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend the place to anyone!

My family and I really enjoyed this home. The location was amazing. Being so close to Moran Lake Beach and Pleasure Point was great to be able to just walk down to enjoy.
The garage was full of boogie boards, surf boards, wetsuits, bikes, beach chairs and towels. We didn't need to bring or buy anything to use at the beach.
The home was really nice. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/knives and some staples (oils, salt/pepper, etc) which was nice since we stayed in for dinner about half the trip. BBQ worked just fine.
Hot tub was great to relax in and was maintained by a professional while we were there.
The beds are a bit soft so it took us some time to adjust (we prefer a firmer mattress) but other than that all the amenities were great!

If you’re looking to stay in the Santa Cruz area, this is a great spot. The house is a short walking distance to the Point where you watch great surfing or surf yourself. It’s also a short walk to a small beach good for swimming. We walked into town several times to check out the surf shops. The house has every beach toy / accessory you could need including many bikes. That was the main draw for us (location and beach supplies) and it did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised by the ample kitchen supplies and condiments as well. There was even ground coffee. It made the stay very comfortable and easy. Great communication with the host as well. Thanks for a great visit.

The photos on the listing do not do it justice. The amenities really made it easy to keep the kids entertained and it has everything you need for meals in. It’s super close to peak surfing and exploring the area is made easy by the bikes and scooters available for use. Steve made a lot of great recommendations. Cannot give enough praise.

Will definitely stay again. The kids loved the bikes, scooters, surfboards. Great set up for family. Never heard from owner but we didnt have any concerns. Only thing we needed was more toliet paper, trash bags , and no cleaning supplies to clean kitchen counters. Oveeall amazing week.

This beach house was perfect for our family and so conveniently located to great beaches, biking, farmer's market, people and surfer watching. We loved dining on the deck! The hot tub is a very nice perk too.

Steve was a wonderful. The location of this house makes for a peaceful and easy Santa Cruz experience. You can literally walk down the block with your surfboards to pleasure point and market and every guest had a sweet beach cruiser to bike to nearby shops. In the other direction, one minute away is the beautiful reservoir with snowy egrets and other birds and a sandy swimming beach across the street with sunsets. The house is immaculate, with highly organized kitchen supplies, and so comfortable with all the amenities. Couldn’t ask for more. One bedroom has a lovely deck and the main has a Garden with hot tub and outdoor shower. Neighbors even nice!

Our family of 4 was very happy at this property. Loved walking to Dunlap’s Donuts and then sitting on a bench and watching the waves, surfers and otters while we ate our breakfast. Kids loved the boardwalk. The master bed was super comfy. Walked to a different beach very nearby for sunsets. Great memories!

Our family of five including a toddler, his parents and grandparents, all had a great time in this house. It was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Had all amenities we needed. Plenty of towels for beach and others for home. Great toys, baby gate and travel crib for the toddler. Bikes, surfboards etc in the garage as advertised. Hot tub. Beautiful spaces indoor and out (2 lovely patios perfect for outdoor dining and quiet relaxation. Very nice welcome gifts at our doorstep when we arrived. Lovely neighborhood close to beaches, one within walking distance and many others a short drive away. Near the beautiful Nisine Marks State Park with trails for hikers of many different levels of ability/time. Well supplied kitchen with nice appliances. The outdoor shower is great for cleaning up after a day at the beach. Seamless checkin and checkout. We would love to return to this house!
