The guesthouse lies just outside the old town and as a result has a great view of the picturesque Dartlo village and stone towers. It has a beautifully tended garden with flowers (the most beautiful in Dartlo) and the whole host family was exceptionally kind and attentive. We were served a feast for dinner and an extremely generous breakfast, all with herbs and vegetables from the garden. We had a room with views of Dartlo and a private bath with copious hot water. Very relaxing and romantic atmosphere.

We are a family with teenage boys and had an absolutely great time in Dartlo. The location was the clear highlight of our Georgia trip and the family, owning the place and the staff was absolutely wonderful!
The trip started with the great adventure of riding up the Abano Pass with their Land Cruiser taxi. Reaching the guesthouse, a gorgeous family and team welcomed us and regaled us with delicious mountain cuisine and home-brewed beer and vine.
It is a wonderful place for hiking and chilling.
We enjoyed every minute!
Everything was perfect except maybe that one mattress, earlier guests already mentioned :)

The hosts are so friendly! We were welcomed with coffee and biscuits. I definitely recommend taking both dinner and breakfast, the food is excellent. We also enjoyed the wine with dinner! Our room was comfortable and even though it was a shared bathroom it was only between two rooms so not a problem. This makes a great stop off on the Shatili-Omalo hike. Oh yes, plenty of hot water for showers too!
