About this house rental
Situated in Northstar Drive, this attractive house for $698 per night is a great option for your next trip. Located along the 12th tee and fairway of the Northstar Golf Course, this residence is conveniently situated for quick and easy access to golf, skiing, the Northstar Recreation Center, and the vibrant Village at Northstar. This home is pet-friendly (please see Policies & Disclosures below for more details). LIVING ROOM: - Open floor plan with vaulted ceilings - Wood-burning fireplace - Sleeper sofa - Flat screen TV KITCHEN & DINING: - Fully stocked kitchen - Dining table with seating for up to 8 - Kitchen island with breakfast bar with seating for 5 - Desk with office chair BEDDING CONFIGURATION: Master bedroom #1: King Suite Master bedroom #2: King Suite Bedroom #3: Queen Suite Bedroom #4: Two Full Beds Bonus room with space to bring air beds to sleep two additional guests (total of 12 guests - max 10 adults). Additional bedding not provided ADDITIONAL AMENITIES - Pet-friendly for an additional nightly fee (please see Policies & Disclosures for details) - Back deck furnished with a dining table - Contactless check-in - Parking for up to 4 cars - Shuttle Service to and from Northstar Village - Access to NPOA recreation center ($10.00 per person, per visit) POLICIES & DISCLOSURES: - Renters are responsible to follow Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies. - The maximum occupancy of this residence is limited to 10 adults plus 2 children under the age of 12. Good place. Not “just a rental”, clearly owners frequent. Very nice stay , just wish there was a snow shovel available as we got a ton of snow and closing the garage without a shovel to clear the sensors was small issue.
I’d add directions to use the tv remote and sharpen the knives. But all in, we enjoyed our stay skiing!

House was plenty big enough and in a great neighborhood. Golf course and hiking were fun.
Master toilet kept clogging for no reason, down stairs bath had a leak at the base of the toilet and we could not use it for 24 hrs, and the house has a real carpenter ant problem.

Basque Drive - Tahoe
Accurate property description but should be clearer about "sleeps 12"! It has beds for 10 and requires you to bring your own air mattresses and bedding for the bonus room.

Great house
We loved this house and will definitely rent again. The property manager was responsive and accomodating and the house is clean and has a great floor plan. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was a perfect home for our family of 8 (6 adults and 2 toddlers) during our Northstar ski trip. All of the beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless. We enjoyed the kitchen. It was very well stocked with spices, pots, and pans. The outdoor fire pit on the back patio was a great addition — we made s’mores almost every night. There’s a BBQ on the patio too, though we didn’t use it.
Be warned if traveling during winter, the driveway can be extremely icy. The 2 car garage has plenty of space so you can load / unload the car in there. The kids enjoyed using the 2 sleds that were provided in the garage. The Northstar shuttle was very convenient for getting to and from the Village. The host also accommodated a late checkout for us so we got in an extra half ski day.
A few minor considerations: the filter in the refrigerator was blinking to be replaced and the air filter for the home looked very dirty — so that could be replaced as well. The TV in the living room was pretty small and the internet was a bit slow.
Overall we will definitely be back and will recommend this home to others!

This gorgeous home was just as pictured and described. We loved hanging out on the back deck in the snow around the fire pit! The best part was having the Northstar shuttle pick up the skiers at the driveway to take them to the mountain. A wonderful stay!

We loved this home and the location. Having the shuttle was so easy. The place was beautiful, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 5 adults and 3 children we had. Very kid friendly as well! We would definitely stay here again. Also there were humidifiers available for every room which was a huge plus!

Our daughter who lives in Truckee found this great home for our family vacation this year. We spent 4 wonderful days enjoying the home and the surrounding area. It is modern and classy while also being cozy and comfortable. We had everything available that we needed with amenities that accommodated all ages and interests. This home is spacious with plenty of room for the whole family (6 adults and 4 grandchildren) to be together and separate areas for smaller groups or to get away alone. The extra living space in the den was perfect for the grandkids to escape the adults and hang out. We loved the decks and enjoyed evenings around the fire, visiting and roasting marshmallows and eating samores with the kids. The back view of the golf course was beautiful and enhanced the outdoor mountain experience. The back area also allowed for outdoor play activities. Our day at the pool at Northstar Village and picnicking and boating at Donner Lake were 2 day trips we all enjoyed. The Village was also great for shopping and dining. We had so much fun and great family bonding time in this beautiful home. We would definitely recommend it and plan to return next summer.

Fourth of July Getaway
Had a great time at this cabin. Provides the amenities of the Northstar HOA which includes the shuttle service, Rec center, tennis courts among others. Bedrooms were nicely laid out. Would love to come back during winter time with our family.
Don't forget your own spices, any special dishes you may need, etc. Otherwise kitchen is well stocked.
Cabin has a nice porch out the front and in the back. Prepare to be relaxed at this cabin!
