The unit is large and perfect for a family ski trip. We love the large kitchen and dining table. The fireplace is very warm and cozy. We had one issue with AC but maintenance was quick to come over and fix it. The hot tubs are a short walk away and not very busy. The skiing was good as always with very minimal crowds Monday-Friday. My only complaint is that the village seemed empty with very few open stores and restaurants. The ice skating was closed for the whole week. Someone said the Zamboni was broken but maybe they close it in March. Northstar used to give out s’mores in the village, but I think they got rid of that as well. Overall a great stay, but we ended up driving to Truckee for food. Btw, Stella in Truckee was an amazing restaurant.

Beautiful property, great location and very convenient for skiing with kids. There were numerous maintenance issues while we were there that were disappointing, but we felt like they were addressed in a timely manner and satisfied with the resolutions we were offered.

The village was pretty much shut down. Really unfortunate that the snowfall was so big that our trip was non existent for Christmas. Not even starbucks was open and grocery store finally opened for a bit. Heater was broken during Christmas and master bedroom got down to 62 degrees. It was fixed the day we left. To charge this amount of money when the people next to us paid half the amount we did for a bigger unit and we had not one service and the village was shut down and no reprieve. Really so sad as a past owner...

Short drive to downtown Truckee (great food), Incline Village (water sports) and Tahoe City (ropes course). Spectacular unit overseeing the village. Clean and tastefully decorated. Staff super professional and nice!
