About this condo rental
Situated in Cruz Bay, this attractive condo for $450 per night is a great option for your next vacation. You'll absolutely love Southern Serenity III. Not just the view that is truly a million dollar view. Not just the location that is close to all of the great restaurants and fun beach bars of Cruz Bay - the heart of St John. Not just the wonderful condominium that provides for your every need - both at home or on the beach. But because Southern Serenity is the perfect place to fall in love all over again. Southern Serenity III is our latest property acquired at Grande Bay Resort. Grande Bay was recently voted as the number one resort on St John. Most of that has to do with its location. Just a few steps from everything. It can be summed up this way: location, location, location! We try our hardest to provide an absolutely spectacular one-bedroom condominium that provides for your every need. The living area is spacious with a sleeper sofa, chairs, flat screen television and beautiful paintings. The dining area shares the living area. The full kitchen is very well equipped with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, toaster, blender and coffee maker plus everything you need to display your gourmet talents. The bedroom features a king bed with plenty of privacy, very large closet, its own television and a private balcony. But the most amazing thing about Southern Serenity III is the balcony - the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup a java and take in the absolutely beautiful of St John's mountains in the background and the brilliant blue of the Caribbean just beneath your balcony. This will become your favorite spot on the island in no time. Grande Bay Resort provides a fantastic swimming pool and pool deck to sunbathe. There is also a very large Jacuzzi. Our gym features the very best equipment for a good workout. Whatever you need, we have it to make your stay special. Once you book, our management company will contact you and assist with any needs you have to make your vacation and visit to our island memorable. They can help you arrange for a jeep - which we recommend for the steep, mountainous roads on St John - or provision your condo, or answer any questions you may have about St John and are there 24/7 to assist you with special needs. St John is unique among Caribbean islands in that 75% of the island is controlled by the U.S. National Park Service. That means that there are not rows and rows of hotels along our beaches, which is the primary reason our beaches are the best found in the Caribbean. There are as many as 75 little bays where you can snorkel, more than 20 exceptional beaches with wonderful sand, and numerous hiking trails up and down the steep mountains that bring so much beauty to our little island. We have traveled to almost every Caribbean island and none are as beautiful and tranquil as St John. We provide everything to make your stay pleasant. We are stocked with linens and towels in the bath, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and some floats, noodles and snorkel gear. If you do not have gear or don't want to pack it, there is a dive shop right beside the resort that rents gear. Paddleboards, kayaks, dingeys and even motorboats are all for rent in Cruz Bay. If this is your first trip to our island, please let us know and we will send you our recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Our manager will also share recommendations as to what the best spots are upon your arrival. And speaking of LOVE, did I mention that our one bedroom is perfect for you to get away and bring back that spark that busy lives often remove. You will find no more romantic place on Earth than St John to rekindle that spark. Southern Serenity III provides the perfect location for romance, regardless of what honeymoon or special event you are celebrating.

This was our 3rd stay in this Grande Bay unit— communication, check-in, cleanliness are outstanding. We are thankful for free parking— but it is a bit of challenge to park in this garage. We may have 26 point parking to avoid scratching the rental. Obviously— it did not deter us from returning! Thank you again!

Apartment was super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed including coolers and beach chairs. Lovely view of harbor from terrace which had 4 comfortable bar height chairs and a table. Great WiFi.
Can walk to all the shopping and restaurants in town.
And if you don’t want to rent a car it’s very easy to use a taxi bus to reach all the beaches.
Pool wasn’t great but was ok. A bit small and not a lot of shade.
We would definitely consider staying here again.

From initial booking to departure both the host and the management company were thorough, communicative, courteous. We had lots of questions, and only one small (no big deal) issue that was taken care of within an hour. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, amenities provided are amazing. Since our last visit in 2020 prices have (understandably) gone up absorbently so it was it was greatly appreciated to have been provided with snokels & masks in Serenity. Grande Bay is so accommodating as well. We were able to leave our baggage in the lobby without worry while we were waiting to change units. The only item we missed this time around was p/u & d/o at the dock. Because there were 6 of us and alot of luggage, we had to rent a vehicle for the entire week rather than just for 5 days. Should you want a seamless procedure from start to finish, we highly recommend our hosts, The Blairs, and St. John Villa Company. Your vacation will be worry free!

Beautiful and clean unit ! Our room had a washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen which was great. Also electric grill, towels, and beach chairs came with the unit to use and was a huge plus!
Note: we did have to pay a mandatory $150 rental insurance fee, which We’ve never had encountered with a rental before (and we travel A LOT) - even with renting from other Grande Bay Resort owners. Just fyi .

Property is nicely located and in heart of lot of close restaurants and redhook ferry dock. We loved staying at the property and condo unit was nice. We had few small hiccups such as sofa bed not made and not knowing how to get comforter and other things for that sofa bed itself. Although it was promptly addressed. I wish shampoo and conditioners were not just starter kit but enough for our stay But again these were not a deal breaker at all but something that can be done to improve the experience further. Front office kept our luggage for final day and it was breeze on checkout day. Overall we loved our stay and made great memories.

We just recently stayed at this condo but only for one night as our flight home was cancelled. The condo was super clean and had a great view. The bed was extremely comfy and the updated bathroom was great! The property manager was amazing to work with. With our flight being canceled a second time they were so helpful in trying to assist us in finding another place on Christmas Eve. It was much appreciated in what could’ve been an extremely frustrating time.

Repeat visitor to Grande Bay condos and have stayed in various units owned by Ms. Blair. This one bedroom unit is perfect. It’s on the upper levels with a nice view of Cruz Bay. Nice patio with breeze to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the boats. Walk to town, restaurants, shopping, bars, ferry, National Park HQ, some trails, taxis, market, takes a few minutes. Unit was clean, quiet, and just the right size for a couple. There is a sofa bed in the living area if you bring others, but the bathroom is in the bedroom. Washer and dryer located in the bedroom. If you are traveling with older kids or another couple, inquire about Ms. Blair’s 2 or 3 bedroom. Property Manager, Adrienne, was exceptional to work with if you need anything. It has a parking space in the garage, which is a big perk if you rent a Jeep.

This property is just as advertised. It was clean and easily accessible from the parking spot to the elevator. The view is great for being in the back building. You are just high enough to see over the front building. Everyone was great to work with and the walk to town is super simple and easy even for a 6 and 8 year old.

Beautiful property! Extremely clean. There were plenty of towels, shower is large and updated as well as the kitchen and furnishings. This unit is very well maintained and there are nice touches throughout such as fun artwork. Chairs and coolers are available if you want to go to the beach. I can't say enough good things about this property! We've stayed in others on the island and on STT and this one is by far 5 star! And the view is priceless!
