Located in Balboa Peninsula, this charming condo for $186 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Light and bright, fully furnished 1br/1.5ba upstairs unit in small building on the peninsula! It is the only upstairs unit so there are no shared walls! It is situated one house from the sand so you can walk to the beach in less than 50 steps! Walk to the ocean, bay, restaurants, markets, and bus. Less than a mile to Newport Pier and half an hour to Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. About an hour to downtown Los Angeles and an hour-and-a-half to San Diego. Lots of amenities and free WiFi! ONE PARKING SPACE IN THE PRIVATE SHARED GARAGE WILL BE PROVIDED TO GUESTS! This is a remodeled upstairs unit that features a large private deck with bay views - the perfect place to relax and read a book or grill up something delicious (or watch the famous Newport Beach Boat Parade at Christmas OR a panoramic view of fireworks from Disneyland to the Dunes at 4th of July)! It also has newer carpet throughout with tile floors in bathrooms and kitchen. It boasts granite counters in kitchen, stainless steel appliances (range, built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser), and a washer and dryer on the premises. Property features updated windows as well! Linens and bathroom towels are included. Weekly and nightly all-inclusive rate with no extra taxes or fees beyond what is listed! Great value in a great location! Unit sleeps a maximum of 5. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and two fold out sofa beds in the living room: one queen size and one twin size. Kitchen includes basic cooking utensils, pots and pans, silverware, cups, plates, coffee maker, blender, and a toaster. Huge dining room with table and chairs. There is a BBQ, table, and chairs on the deck. Cable TV and WiFi are included. Street parking is also available. Beach equipment (chairs, surfboards, bikes, etc.) rentals are available at 15th Street Surf Shop less than a block away. Come to the beach and relax! Our home is the perfect place to get away! This place did not disappoint! Matt is an attentive and detail oriented host. The apartment was absolutely wonderful. We will be back. Matt made some great recommendations for our vacation at Newport. We stayed for five nights with three of our children for our 24th anniversary. The location was awesome. Close to everything. Just steps to the beach. We loved our stay, and the communication with the host couldn’t be beat. Everything you need is there. It was so nice to have a garage parking spot. We loved that part. It’s great to be able to have space for your vehicle and beach toys. The hide a beds were awesome and comfortable, our kids had no complaints. It was fun to sit out on the deck, and enjoy a drink at night. We also enjoyed a lot of takeout out there. Perfect location!! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for everything, Matt.

My boyfriend and I were here for my birthday trip. There was plenty of food options for all three meals. everything we wanted/needed was all walking distance.
The beach was absolutely gorgeous, very family friendly wasn’t super busy, and the water was very refreshing. No issues whatsoever. Matt’s home was equipped with everything we needed as well, very comfortable and felt like a home.

The moment you walk into this apartment you'll start your time off relaxation. The view of the boats entering the marina in the evening is soothing, and the sound of the waves on the sand in the morning is invigorating. This apartment is also well suited for family get-togethers. And last but not least, the host is friendly and communicates well.

Truly a comfortable home away from home. We stayed here for the second time and loved it both times. It is convenient to the beach, very clean, well stocked with everything one could need and Matt, the owner, is nice and great in communicating. Overall, a great experience and five stars!

It was perfect for what we needed. Close to my family and other destinations we had planned. It was very peaceful, clean and cozy with everything you would need. The beach was just at the end of the block just a few steps as was said and it was beautiful. Everything you could need was within walking distance. A family treasure, perfect location, clean, quiet, comfortable, steps to the beach and a fully equipped kitchen. Matt, the host, was wonderful. Perfect home base for a break at the beach
My husband and I were delighted to have Matt's cozy apartment as our home at the beach for a few days. The location is what drew us, and it was absolutely perfect for us. Literally 50 steps from the beach, the apartment is located halfway between the Newport Beach pier/restaurants and the Balboa Pier/restaurant area. It's about a mile/20 - 30 minute walk in either direction to many choices of places to eat and things to do, with the excellent Lighthouse Restaurant directly across the street and a few small markets/coffee shops just a block or so away. The beach is fabulous and Matt provided a few beach chairs and towels, so relaxing and watching dolphins was a breeze. It was so convenient and secure to have a locked garage for the car, and we used the washer/dryer to regroup after getting caught in a rare SoCal downpour. We didn't end up cooking much more than coffee and heating up leftovers, but the kitchen was fully stocked and would easily serve for making family meals. The bed was cozy and the apartment was quiet and peaceful. The furnishings are casual and comfortable, nothing fancy or overly designer, which suits us well and would simplify a visit with kids. We will absolutely be back, as our daughter is now in college in LA and we look forward to visiting her and unwinding at the beach many times in the coming years. Matt was a great host, communicating clearly to help with a smooth check in/check out, and we would have felt comfortable reaching out if we had any hiccups or questions. All in all, a 5 star experience that we plan to repeat!

Matts place was beautiful with all the amenities of home. Great location and excellent communication. It was so nice having a garage for our car. Loved riding bikes all around. Definitely will be back.
