Nestled in Destin, this charming house for $936 per night is a great choice for your next break. At Crystal Clear Retreat you will be right at home. This beautiful beach oasis, has a private pool, wraparound porch and second and third floor decks. Located directly across from the Gulf, this spacious home is ideal for large families. The bunk room is perfect for smaller kids (1 triple bunk and queen bed sleeps 5), and teens will love the third floor loft with daybed and trundle, refrigerator and sink. And the large back patio, with pool, outdoor shower, and grill makes it the afternoon place to gather! The main floor is an open floor plan with ample space for everyone. We know you will also love the large 52` TV. Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor...one with a king bed and the other with a queen and 1 set of twin over full bunks. The 2nd floor has the huge Master suite with king bed. The other bedroom also has a king bed. Both bedrooms are full of light and access to balconies. The kitchen and downstairs bathrooms have just been completely remodeled and are beautiful.

This is our second time staying at this location, and we will stay here again. Proximity to the beach is excellent, and we chose to heat the pool (Oct. stay), which gave us another place to be in the water. The french doors are a bit difficult to lock, and the upstairs master bathtub does not hold water, which had not been fixed either year we stayed. Otherwise - it's a great space and place to vacation.

Crystal Clear was a great choice for our family. We found most everything we needed to enjoy our week at the beach. There were enough beach toys, chairs and umbrellas for the whole gang. And the beach access directly across the street was great!

Your home is absolutely gorgeous but we were extremely concerned about the French doors not locking. They’re missing the piece that screwed down into the floor in the middle. If you pull from the outside the doors break open. My 4 year old pushed on the door from the inside and they opened (with it “locked”)
We went out and bought a bike lock just so we felt safe at night and so our littles couldn’t get out.
It was also a bummer that the master bedroom’s tub, the plug didn’t work.
Other than that, the home was lovely. Great views and ideal location to the beach.
Would definitely recommend to others if the locking of the doors was fixed.

Great location to beach easy access.house works well wirh large families.Had lots of usefull items for beach. Only small problems was refridgerator did not produce enough ice for large family. 2nd floor bathroom sink had no water preasure at all. I would rent again.

This house was everything we expected & more. The pool/patio was the perfect size to keep an eye on the little ones & extremely clean. Inside the house was was clean and properly stocked to make any and all meals. We really appreciated the access to private beach across the street along with all the beach gear you could need for the entire family. If we visit Destin again we will be staying at this home again!

Overall a beautiful home and location. Don’t expect a view of the gulf due to the 2 story motel and homes across the street.

We rented this house for 3 generations to share a vacation together. The accommodations were perfect for us, smelled and looked very clean, perfect overall layout and size for 9 people, separate bedrooms to give each family space and areas we could share together. It was nice to cookout and enjoy cocktails while the kids swam in the lighted/heated pool, dining area allowed us to dine and to do beach crafts together, excellent cooking pans and dishes to cook & serve meals together, loved the front porch to play cards on the bar table and chairs and the rocking chairs for morning coffee, beach chairs - umbrella - toys to use at the beach which was across the street with access between 2 hotels, loft was a great place for the kids to hang out, DVDs and books to use (we didn’t use but they were there), all around GREAT place to stay! However, it was advertised as a gulf view from the porch. We could only possibly see water from the 3rd floor balcony if we looked off to the right over the peak of the roof… but not a gulf view. That was disappointing as I paid the enormous rate I did because I thought we could sit on the porch to watch the waves, and we couldn’t. The photographer for the home made all of the spaces and the pool seem much bigger than they actually are.. we had 9 people, it would be tight with 12. We had trouble with the pool heater, when I called, someone came immediately to resolve it! There were other repairs needed, but I think the owners were likely not made aware of them in order to fix them. I will email them the list.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was very nice and comfortable. It was very clean and had everything you would want or need. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was so pretty.. My granddaughters ages 11 and 9, slept up in the loft on the third floor and referred to it as their apartment.
We had the pool heated as it can still be cool in February. I got up one morning and it was 49 degrees out. That didn’t stop the girls from swimming!
A favorite part of this property for me was sitting on the front porch with my coffee and letting the sun just beat on me. The beach was just across the street and was absolutely beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our time at this property.

We had a great family vacation at this beach house! The house was set up perfectly for our family of 11. We had toddlers and a baby and had all the amenities we needed. Such easy private access to the beach, right across the street! The busy scenic highway was easy to cross with small children; traffic typically stopped for us, making it safe! The only problem we came across was during the first two days we got there it was raining and there was leaking of the roof in two different places in the master suite. Also there was standing water on several of the balconies and they couldn’t be used when raining. We contacted management and made them aware. Other than that we highly recommend this beach house! Great location and it is beautifully decorated!

Great stay! The air wasn’t working when we got there around midnight, but the lady answered us anyway! And had someone out to fix it the next day. Very nice! Plenty of space for 8 of us to stay.

Our family (8 adults & 5 small grandchildren) enjoyed staying at Crystal Clear! This lovely home had very nice upgrades and a large seating area for our family to eat meals together. The kitchen with its modern appliances was well supplied to make cooking a breeze. The wrap around porch was a nice area to relax and for the grandkids to play. The beach was right across the street which made it easy to go back and forth. We greatly appreciated the use of the beach chairs, umbrella, toys, and stroller to carry things to the beach. We loved having our own pool and patio. There were plenty of chairs for all of us to sit and relax We have been coming to Destin since 2005 and staying at Crystal Clear rates as one of our favorite family vacations!

Absolutely perfect!!
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this entire experience. From the initial booking, the Myer team has been polite and helpful. Truly a delight knowing that you are staying in a place that is cared for, making the settling in for us, as if we were our home!
I was already looking at rates for next year before I even left (obsessed much?!)!
I travel for work so I have stayed in my fair share of hotels, B&Bs, and rental shares such as this and if even half were as accommodating, I think we would all be a little more zen when we return home!

I believe this house has the potential for 5 stars if the owners/management keeps up with repairs better.
Pros:
Terrific location. Close to restaurants and shopping but in a quieter area. Beach access right across the street. Bike/walk path right in front of house.
House had plenty of room and parking. Nicely decorated too. There were only 5 adults for our trip and it was nice to have 3 bathrooms. We didn’t even use the top floor or one of the downstairs bedrooms. Nice open living room/dining/kitchen area. Front porch was nice to have (since we had some rainy days) and the pool was spacious enough. The kitchen had a very nice fridge, dishwasher, microwave, etc. and was well stocked with dishes/utensils, etc. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs, etc. even though we didn’t use them since we brought our own.
Cons:
I believe management/owner needs to stay on top of things better.
We had seen a review from a month before about the condition of the bikes and inquired before coming but received an answer that it will be checked on. One of the two bikes couldn’t be used before we adjusted one rim and fixed the chain (luckily had some tools with us since we drove).
On our 2nd day there, the roof started leaking and I called after putting pots under 2 areas. I was told it be forwarded to maintenance but never heard anything else. They never even checked back with us for the rest of the week after a few more days or rain. Both areas that were leaking looked like they had porches above and previously had problems. Actually, we couldn’t use the porch off the master much either because it wasn’t sloped properly and the water never drained.
Just keeping up with little things also would make it nicer. There was a broken chair near the pool and a broken chair on the patio. We did not use the grill and it had not been cleaned before we got there. One other small issue, we also noticed someone inquired about recycling and there was not a response. We also were confused since the trash had 2 different compartments in the kitchen and we separated ours. However, the instructions never mentioned if there was or wasn’t this service so everything just went to curb together :(
I would recommend staying at Crystal Clear as long as they keep up with the maintenance.

This was our first time to Destin and what an amazing time for our family of ten, ranging from ages 5 to 70. It could have easily slept more. There was even a empty closet type room right off the master suite that had a Pack and play. Plenty big for a child. My preteens loved the loft area. This upper level room had it own A/C unit which kept their space very comfortable. Every level had a balcony. We did have a few maintenance glitches after our first day, and Myer Properties immediately had someone come out handled the problem. One of the best features, and worth the extra dollars, was to have the pool heated. It was used in the early morning and often late evening. We had beautiful weather in early April, but the water would have been cold. Hwy 98 which runs in front of the home was a busy road. However, access to the beach was a breeze and so close to the home. Every room was so nicely decorated with the perfect bedding for our group. We were so glad to have the beach chairs, beach umbrellas and pool floats available for use. Only one thought, there were two bikes, one had a broken chain and had no brakes, the other was rusted out. Would have really enjoyed the bikes. Overall, excellent vacation home and lovely neighborhood.!

Beach lovers!
The best part of this property is how close it was to the beach entrance and the property owners had plenty of chairs, umbrellas and toys available for use! The worst is the parking situation. We vacationed over spring break and the house at the end of the ally gave us a run for our money blocking us in and so forth. The house was spacious, fairly clean and the property manager was good about responding to concerns.

We had an amazing time at this house. It was very clean and in the perfect location. The pool was fantastic. My kids stayed in it as much as possible. Access to the beach was very easy. Also anything that you could use for the beach was provided. I would recommend this property to anyone.
