The location was great, and the included breakfast was very nice with wide choice
The place is a bit old and it shows… the floors of the bedrooms were very noisy, to get to the rooms you must take a very steep and narrow staircase which is not great when having a baggage

The staff is nice and kind. And there is always someone at the front desk 24 hours.
Costs are budget friendly, place is very clean. I met some volunteers that work there and they were also friendly.
Great location in downtown Toronto. Lots of places to go at walking distance.
Hard to climb the steep and narrow stairs with luggage.
I was expecting more from breakfast but you can cook if you wish.

Everything I needed and more besides! The bed was comfy, the shower was strong and hot, toasty warm and really easy to reach public transport.
Unfortunately, as I was finally settling down to sleep, the occupants of the other room arrived home. I’m not sure if it was them or the people upstairs, but until at least 4.30am, they proceeded to speak at the top of their voices, playing loud music, talking on the phone, laughing and generally being as noisy as possible. I finally drifted off to sleep without earplugs and music playing to drown out the sound.
