Pros:
-Spacious
-Tasteful decor (despite the owner/agency’s logo and initials appearing on stickers/tags throughout house)
Cons:
-Property shared with another, separate unit (people in and out of property gates throughout stay and kids on porch in morning)
- Human waste seeping from shower after flushing toilet rendering 3rd story of property unusable for last night of stay (owner/property manager notified - no recompense offered)

A delightful old Victorian mansion, wonderfully decorated for a Christmas vacation, with many rooms for those needing a quiet time.
Very well provided with culinary needs including salt, pepper, sugar etc., and comfortable furnishings for getting together and relaxing.
One caveat ..beware the slippery entrance hall. We would return.

There were 7 of us, ranging from 10 to 75. The two girls were totally amazed that we had the whole mansion to ourselves. We had lots of room, everything was clean and comfortable. (One exception was the downstairs bathroom which was not ready for guests, ie. no soap or extra t-paper.) We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this house to others looking for a place in New Orleans. The management responded immediately when we had an issue - a leak in the 3rd floor bathroom.

I booked the mansion for my wedding weekend. My family was coming in and I wanted everyone under one roof. Lots of space, easy parking, great location for those with no cars also. The owner communicates well with check in. Heads up the mansion is divide so other families can book the other parts of the house, common outside spaces may be shared.

We had a contingent of friends come in for a long weekend and the FSU vs. LSU football game. The house was great. It accommodated us very well, plenty of room at at one point we had quite a large number of other friends who joined us for dinner. The house was very clean, extremely well located and a great place for us to stay. It exceeded all of our expectations. The surrounding area was quiet at night and it was very easy to get to any area of New Orleans we wished to visit. Just 2 blocks from the streetcar made it even easier to get around. I parked my truck and did not move it the entire weekend. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to New Orleans.

This 5 bedroom house beautifully decorated with art and a mixture of antiques and traditional furniture with scrumptious textiles felt like a luxury hotel. It was perfect for 3 generations of adults traveling in for a college graduation. Christian was very accommodating and really made us feel at home!

BEAUTIFUL home!
This home was beyond breathtaking - plenty of space for our large group, VERY clean, lots of "extras" to make us feel like we were in our home. The location was super convenient: one block walk from St. Charles streetcar, a Brother's on the corner for some drinks and late night snacks.
Communication with Christian leading up to check-in was a bit sparse. I had to contact him several times with the same questions over several weeks before getting a response. I had to contact him about a half hour before check-in for the codes to get into the property. I didn't have any contact with him while we were staying, so not sure if it would have been quicker.
Overall, a beautiful old home with a lot of character and charm!

Great stay
Convenient location, easy check-in/check-out. Beautiful spacious house, nice bathrooms, kitchen is a little dated, but functional. One thing to note - only one bathroom on the main floor, and it's through the bedroom. We had a group of 6 for a long weekend, and it was perfect for us.

The property is absolutely lovely and the bedding and linens were delightful!
If you are looking for a great location, this is your house. It is one block off of St. Charles and is within walking distance to some amazing restaurants. It is also a short Uber or Lyft ride to Uptown and the Quarter.
To his credit, the owner, Christian, maintained communication with me even though our stay was about two weeks post Hurricane Ida - I know that things were crazy for him, but he still responded when I had questions or requests.
Only downside is the kitchen and a whole lot of stairs. Not that you want to go to New Orleans to cook for yourself because there are endless amazing restaurants, but the kitchen on the property is not that great. With that being said, it has every coffee/espresso machine you can imagine. Also, if you have members of your group that have any mobility issues, the stairs could be a problem.
All in all, we really did love the property and all of the outdoor space!

Memorable Christmas
Our family stayed in this beautiful Garden District home over Christmas week. It couldn't have been more perfect. The house is beautiful and comfortable. There were seven of us and we enjoyed the sun porch, side porch, front porch and living room. The kitchen, while dated served us well as we actually brought everything to cook a traditional Christmas dinner and serving it in the grand dining room was so special. There is enough plates, silverware and glasses and wine glasses for a large family. They even had silver serving platters.
The house was nicely decorated for Christmas with a tree and garland. Christian was an excellent and responsive host even though he, himself, was out of town for the holidays. We were disappointed not to get to meet him personally as other guests had mentioned, because he seems to have a lot of knowledge and history about the city and the house. I got a brief description of the history of the house over the phone but was a little distracted getting in and directing the other guests to room, etc. that I admit I didn't absorb it all and was amiss at relaying it to the other family members.
This property has everything you need, comfortable beds, nice towels, robes in every room, house slippers at the front door for each guest to roam the house in so as not to scratch the old wood floors.
Some reviews have complained about this and some of his other house rules about not banging suitcases up the marble front stairs, etc. but we live in an old 1898 house ourselves and we can appreciate not wanting it destroyed by guests who are there on a daily basis. Plus these little touches gave a feeling of elegance as if you are staying in a high-end hotel. Even the amenities in the bathrooms are very nice.
The location of this property is excellent. Most of our group had never been to New Orleans and it was just a block from the St. Charles street car stop but also is still very walkable to the restaurants and shops on Magazine Street. We also walked to Commanders Palace for dinner and to The Columns on Christmas Eve for dinner.
There is a little corner quick stop store very close by that sells milk, eggs, etc. as well as wine and liquor and also sells Brother's fried chicken if you need a quick meal or snack and is open 24/7 even on Christmas Day!
Our family agreed that if we were to meet in the city again, we would definitely stay here and will definitely recommend it to others.

Fabulous Faubourg
My son, who lives in NOLA, was getting married in the French Quarter on April 6 so I rented this fabulous home for four nights for myself and immediate family. Christian met us at the house and gave a totally comprehensive history of the place, which was fascinating. The amenities were perfect for everyone and the kitchen was supplied with enough for us to cook a buffet for over 20 people. I would happily recommend this venue.

Felt like kings and queens here during Mardi Gras!
Wow, it was so wonderful being here this past weekend. We had such a lovely time! The house was spectacular and the location was awesome. Great food and bars in the neighbor, the streetcar, parades, it was all magical.
Christian was lovely and really helpful. He couldn't have been more hospitable. Thank you!
Couldn't recommend this house more!

A WONDERFUL TIME
HOUSE WAS IN A PERFECT LOCATION, BUT ON A RATHER MAIN CORNER. IT WAS BUILT IN 1916 SO IT'S CHARM WAS INCREDIBLE. THE MOST COZY BEDS EVER. A LITTLE BIT OF PLUMBING PROBLEMS IN THE KITCHEN, BUT STILL DOABLE. CHRISTIAN WAS A GREAT HOST WITH LOTS OF INFO IF YOU NEEDED IT. WOULD BE A PERFECT SPOT TO STAY IF YOU WERE THERE FOR MARDI GRAS! MADE OUR NOLA TRIP SO AUTHENTIC!

Stay in style in the Big Easy
We just stayed in this home December 2018 and it was fantastic. "Lovely" according to the Canadians. We were a party of 9 and there was plenty of room for everyone. It is very close to the Garden District and Uptown. Two of our three dinners that we ate out were nearby. The Quarter and other sites are just an Uber away. I recommend making sure that you have an Uber or Lyft app if you are not taking public transport. The streetcar is a block away though. I recommend it for seeing the area. We went for runs/walks in the morning to see the neighborhood. Be sure to visit the cemetery and Commander's Palace while staying there. It's all very convenient.
Christian is a kind and knowledgeable source who makes sure you are quite comfortable with the home before leaving you to your own devices. We cooked our breakfasts each morning in the kitchen and that helped with costs. There is a Rouse market not too far away where you can order in advance and pick up groceries. It's a great option and convenient. However, the food is TOO good in New Orleans to stay home for dinner so we were out each night.
I would recommend if you are going when it's cold that you keep in mind that if people on the first or second floor crank up the heat, the third floor gets very hot. For an old home, the central heating is surprisingly efficient! Make sure that someone controls that thermostat or put the colder folks on the third floor. They will be quite toasty. We learned this on the second day and turned the heat down on subsequent evenings.
In a nutshell, a beautiful home for a large group seeking to be away from the hustle and bustle of the FQ.

very nice home in garden district
This historic house is very nice and has plenty of room for family and friends. Christian was very welcoming. The special treats were a nice touch. The bedrooms were well appointed. The living room area is nicely decorated. The kitchen is dated but I think he is still renovating the house. The bathrooms were all recently redone especially in the blue room.
We had booked this house, well in advance of the date we stayed. My caution to you would be to read the rental agreement well. You cannot under any circumstances get your deposit back if you don't end up staying there even if it is more than 60 days before you are scheduled to book. You would essentially loose your deposit to this expensive house. If you end up staying, it is a nice stay. It is easily accessible to other parts of town that are more like party areas. The are is quiet. It has a fence and good security. Also unless you are family, you are not encouraged to entertain in the house. We were 6 friends in the house and it was very roomy.

Unbelievable Experience!
Christian, thank you so much for giving us the history of your place and the neighborhood. Your passion comes across in the interior design of your property. It was truly an amazing opportunity to stay there. The location is prime. It's on the edge of the district so it was close to shopping, and restaurants while also being close to other Garden District sights. The continued updates are stunning. I look forward to seeing what you do with the place when I come back to NOLA next as I will be looking to book with you again. One word of advice: additionally, speak to and walk your guest around the outdoor space. It is a very nice point of interest that you didn't highlight.
