About this house rental
"My Roundette" is a great place for a romantic get-away or a private retreat. Relax in the comfort of this charming roundette. Watch the moon rise over the mountains from a private hot tub. Enjoy the beauty of our Koi Pond. The Koi Pond features a waterfall and a fountain. This home features a flat screen HDTV, a hand-made sassafras bed, and a fully-equipped kitchen with a Jenn-Air Range. Enjoy the rustic elegance of refurbished wood. The walls are finished with refurbished heart pine, and there is furniture made from refurbished wormy chestnut.
The Cove at Fairview has many wonderful amenities. My Roundette has a new propane grill and a firepit (propane provided). Visit our three horses and two miniature donkeys – they always love carrots. This is the best house to stay in for feeding the barn animals. Fresh eggs from our chickens are provided. We also have an electric charging station. This Level 2 EV Fast Charger is available free of charge.
The Cove at Fairview is located just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House. We are only 10 minutes to The Blue Ridge Parkway. Relax in this well-appointed home after a day of site-seeing!

The Cove at Fairview is the perfect quaint setting for a quiet relaxing escape. The property is filled with special lil touches both inside and among surrounding grounds. Our only complaint, "we had to leave!" Yet I’m hopefully to soon return, and next trip with enough family to fill house. "Thank You" to Frank & his family for such cordial hospitality and most pleasant stay. We so appreciated being met at the property to cover details along with personal house tour. This extra attention made for smooth ck-in! And especially considering, our arrival later than expected. Also, welcoming to have a followup msg making sure "all well" within first day or so. The overall care given thru-out was above ‘n beyond from quick msg replies to taking calls and too, allowing an hr late ck-out. We had everything a family could possibly need, more actually; kitchen essentials & coffee making supplies; beds offered comfort for restful nights; bathrooms - extra toiletries, washcloths/towels (hand, bath…extra for hot tub use).Groceries close proximity: Food Lion & Dollar General; several restaurants ‘n breweries; ice cream shop (walk-up window/outside picnic tables) situated between brewery/food trk (various options based on day) and Italian restaurant offering wide menu (order window w/eat-in end of wk)Nearby: Blue Ridge Pkwy Visitors Ctr 7.9mi, Biltmore Village 10mi, Asheville 11mi, Black Mtn 18mi, Chimney Rock 19mi, Lake Lure 22mi

Husband and I decided to take a last minute getaway and this place was perfect. Host, Frank, made sure we were comfortable at check-in, meeting us at the house, making sure we knew where everything was located and recommending restaurants and brewery’s. We were close to Asheville and Parkway. Also short drive to Maggie Valley and Cherokee. House is so homey and comfortable with everything you need. I really enjoyed feeding the donkeys and horses. You can sit on the porch, beside the fire-pit or even see them grazing in the pasture out the big picture window.We enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning. Going for walks were a little harder because we are “flat-landers”. Walking up those hills about killed us! LOL. But walking back down was much easier. The property is beautiful. The flowers, pond, and landscaping is all gorgeous. Lots of places to just sit and enjoy nature. Saw some beautiful birds as well. Will definitely go back and will recommend to others : )

More of an adult place to stay. Very nice and quaint little town with some nice local restaurants. 40 minute drive to Asheville and the Biltmore.
