Comfortable and spacious, if a little bit different, lodging. Quiet neighborhood close to everything. Kitchen space had a little electrical issue but was resolved, and we were able to make coffee and a light breakfast while we were there. That is important to us. Overall a great stay and would book it again.

Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The place is as described -cozy and comfy- but I would mention that there is a full sized fridge in the kitchen/bedroom area that emits a constant hum… so keep this in mind if you’re noise sensitive. Also the floor of the tub is very very slippery, needing another application of nonslip strips.

What a cool space, and incredible view! We very much enjoyed staying here and John was very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for our family, and we would absolutely return the next time we’re in town!

Great location and plenty of space for us and our pup. Nice natural light and plenty of comfortable seating. The bed was a little saggy and the kitchen set up is limited but we made it work and were mostly comfortable. The owner is very nice and lives upstairs in the house and is an early riser. Grateful to have found this place for our stay in Boulder.

This is place couldn’t be more perfect! Rene who helped us rent this place was super helpful. The owner John was so nice and welcoming. This place is in a perfect location so close to CU. Our student graduated this past week and this was the perfect place to be. Very quite nice neighborhood. Will definitely be back!!

We very much enjoyed our stay on a quiet street in a lovely eastern section of Boulder. The basement apartment has a lovely view of the mountains, and Rene was communicative throughout our stay. Our only caveat was that the kitchen was not the cleanest when we arrived.

The Hobbit Bag-End place served us very well while we were between Denver and Ft Collins visiting our kids, going to concerts, fishing and paddle boarding. Rene was very accommodating and prompt in getting us info. Each morning John was great in giving us his history and knowledge of the area. Thanks again Dave and Heidi V.

A Sanctuary in an amazing neighborhood: very comfortable., close to everything, very quiet. Very welcoming owner and friendly neighbors. Easy walk to the south Boulder creek trails. Amazing view from the lawn where we had breakfast and post-hiking relaxing evenings watching the sunset behind Long Peak on the horizon.

Kids were a bit disappointed when I told them it was an apartment not a hotel.. But this home apt was very comfortable and alot of room for me and 3 grandkids.. My sister and her family stayed at an expensive hotel 10 mins. away but at the end of our stay my grands said they really liked our rental way better...(minus an indoor pool..lol).. Agent was very accommodating when we decided to extend our stay 2 more days...Home owner lives upstairs and was a very nice gentleman whom gave great advice on places to eat and see..

Perfect for small family or cpl! Outta the city but close enough to everything if you want to see the sights! We loved the coziness and all the amenities of home.. John was gracious and friendly! Great stay and will be back when in town again!

We came in to help celebrate a family member‘s birthday and needed to bring our large dogs. This location was perfect as it was cozy and quiet and large enough for our dogs to feel comfortable in. Nearby walking trails and the Reservoir as well as wandering through the neighborhood was relaxing and enjoyable for all. Definitely will stay here again in the future.
