About this condo rental
Situated in Carolina Beach, this charming condo for $339 per night is a great choice for your next break. Beautiful 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Oceanfront Condo located on the North End of Carolina Beach. Direct access to Freeman Park and the Carolina Beach Fishing Pier, prime surfing spots, and one of the best beaches on the island. Large covered, oceanfront deck is perfect for people watching and catching that beautiful Carolina Beach sunrise. Master bedroom has queen size bed and attached bathroom. The two guest bedrooms share a bath, one has a queen bed, the other two singles…sleeps eight with pull out sleeper sofa. Unit has one car garage parking and outdoor parking for one additional vehicle. Pets accepted with $100 pet fee. All reservations (except monthly rentals) include our linen package at no additional cost. The linen package includes all bedding, personal towel sets for each guest, beach towels, bathmats, and a kitchen towel set. Entertainment - Highspeed dedicated Wi-Fi at Ocean Rays. There is a TV in the living room, and the Master bedroom. The TV is the living room is a smart TV and is pre-loaded with streaming apps and internet Television stations. Both TV are connected to a TV antenna for access to local channels and sports. The TV in the living room has spare HDMI and usb ports for connecting other devices you may want to bring from home. In addition to our full linen package, we provide all rentals with starter rolls of toilet paper, a liquid hand soap dispenser at each sink, 2 dishwasher cleaning tabs, and trash bags in each can. Each property has a vacuum, Swiffer mop, a bottle of multi-purpose cleaning spray, and a set of cleaning rags (you are not required to clean, but these items are there if you do need them). You will need to bring personal toiletry items (soap shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, etc.), food and condiments, additional paper products, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, Kleenex, trash bags, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, etc. This property comes stocked with a small supply of beach equipment...4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards, and kids sand toys. These items are there for your use during your stay. Property requires seven night stay during peak season, Sunday to Sunday. If still available less than 1 week out, dates may be reserved for stays shorter than 1 week (usually 3/4 night minimum). Hurricane Policy - At no additional cost to you, all Sun Coast Vacation Rentals reservations include our Hurricane Protection Plan. If your property is subject to a mandatory evacuation order for any reason, you will receive a prorated refund for rent and taxes for any unused nights that the order is in effect. We appreciate that everything was as said, plus much more. Very clean, beds were comfortable and we cook a lot and the kitchen was complete with all needed kitchen gadgets n small appliances. We would highly recommend staying in this lovely home. Thanks Jon

We did not have internet access the first day but was resolved the next day by the property manager. There were too many dogs off leash at the area which gave us conern. We were under the impression that all pets had to be on leash. Our pet had previously been attacked, twice, by dogs at home and is very skittish of dogs running up to him now. We had to be very careful of when we took him out.
The unit is a little outdated but over all comfortable.

Beautiful location just a minute walk to the beach. Also a couple minute walk to the pier for food, beverages, and ice cream!
We loved our stay and definitely would look to do it all over again. Carolina Beach has much to offer for you and your family. And this location right on the beach is a perfect landing spot for your sunshine adventures!

We loved this location. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location to the beach was great. Easy parking and chairs and beach toys for the kids. We will be returning. Thank you for a great vacation location.

Check in was super easy, we enjoyed the balcony very much and the view of the beach was perfection. Plenty of towels provided. The condo was just missing a couple needed things like a dust pan. But overall enjoyed our stay. We would book again.

Our experience was great! Everything was exactly as stated in the description! We never had to contact anyone during our stay. We loved being able to bring our chocolate lab on vacation!! The living room area was large enough that we could put her crate in the living room as well! The weather was great during our stay, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning from the balcony!

So wonderful to bring our dog. She loved it. The family had a great time. The Piers Tiki hut just a few steps away. There was a bit of flooding when we arrived. We were told that this is common during full moon. Wasn’t too bad. We were able to travel on canal street. The covered porch was a great for the little ones. The beach beautiful. The mattresses in 2 and 3 rd bedroom not very comfortable. A quick trip to Walmarts for a mattress topper did the trick! Would def rent again!

The location of the property is awesome and we all enjoyed our stay very much, the only issues were that the shower head and curtains were pretty moldy and it was extremely loud when the air conditioning kicked on.

Pros:
The condo is on the first floor which makes it easy with kids. It’s situated next to a huge park with a private beach that you can walk on. The beach is very clean, wide, and great to walk on. The boardwalk restaurant within walking distance has amazing food and ice cream for kids. The condo was big enough for a family of 5 with a big balcony.
Cons:
The pictures in the listing appear to be a few years old. The cleanliness was okay, but the condo furniture, beds, and the building itself are outdated. Lots of rust on the brackets holding up the balcony, mold on the shower curtain, and a musty smell in the bedrooms that aggravated our allergies. The water has a high level of sulfur and smells of rotten eggs. We had to bring our own Toilet paper and paper towels. Dog hair was left in corners and on the couch. The worst was the bug issue. We found two cockroaches inside and more on the balcony. At night the gnats bit us on the balcony, so bring spray.
Overall, the location is amazing. There are plenty of lodging options in the vicinity that appear more updated. The service with Jon was good.

We had a wonderful week. The location is perfect. The convenience of a quick walk down to the beach is perfect for families. Allowed for a relaxing time with letting family members set their own beach schedule. Well stocked with beach gear and linens and puzzles/games which is super helpful as well. The property is clean and nicely decorated. We would absolutely stay here again.

It's our second year and stay down canal for the first time...private entrance to beach it was as said...our only problem was washer/ dryer was down bot property manager without hesitation offered refund...so I dint get to do laundry on vacation...lol

The place felt very clean, had garage access, dog friendly, was very quiet, easy to get to the beach, and had a tiki bar very close by. What more could you ask for? Owner clearly communicated with us. I would recommend this place.
