Located in Isle of Palms, this charming house for $849 per night is a great choice for your next break. I Hope You Dance, 714 Carolina Blvd, Beach House is wonderful with private in ground pool! Only 100 yards to beach access and a short walk to local restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Everything is right outside your door! Immaculately built and decorated for comfortable low country living! Open floor plan with hardwoods and high ceilings. Beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, double sink, undercounter ice maker and wet bar. Laundry room next to kitchen with pantry, freezer, wine/beverage cooler, washer and dryer. Dining table seats eight and seating for three at kitchen island. Comfortable living room with gas fireplace and flat screen television. Living room has 3 pair of french doors opening onto screen porch overlooking private pool with lots of seating and dining table for four. There is a private den/sunroom with sectional sofa and television. All bedrooms have private oversize bathrooms (with hair dryers) and cable televisions. One bedroom, with queen bed, is on the first level and has 2 pair of french doors to front porch. Three bedrooms are on the second level. One with queen bed and 3 pair of french doors opening onto private porch, one with two queen beds and the master suite. Master suite has king bed, sitting area with gas fireplace, large private screen porch overlooking pool, and a great dressing room. Master bathroom has double sinks, shower and jetted tub. The nautical inspired third floor lookout (with window walls on 3 sides) has ocean and intracoastal waterway views. Sunsets and July 4th fireworks are amazing! There is a television and comfortable seating for hanging out. This is low country living at its best! The private pool area includes a fantastic outdoor enclosed hot/cold showerhouse with changing room. Relax in this wonderful beach house, play by the beach or pool, read a book on the porch of your choice, take a stroll, or drive to Charleston for all it has to offer! MUST BE 25 years of age or older to rent this home! We remind you this home is located in a residential area, and Isle of Palms is sensitive to inappropriate noise levels emanating from rental homes, particularly in the evening hours. Parties and large gatherings at the pool area after 10pm are not allowed. The noise ordinance is enforced by the Isle of Palms Police. Violations of the noise ordinance could result in fines and/or eviction. We do not rent to house parties. ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: The items listed below are provided at no additional charge to you. The house was very spacious and perfect location to the beach. We arrive later in the evening and ready to just relax. We found out there was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the any of the bathrooms. So that was a trip to the Harris Teeter to get some. There was no dish soap or dishwasher soap. We read the directions for staying at the house. The one thing we were suppose to do was wash two loads of linens before we left. There was a veery very small amount of detergent in the container so we never washed any of our clothes and used the small amount of detergent to wash one load before we left. There were no extra garbage bags so we bought some to put in the garbage containers before we left. We would love to stay again but would like some of these items to at least start our stay.

We LOVE this house. This was our second time there, it’s perfect for our family. Spacious, gracious, comfortable and beautiful. The extra den area is perfect as are all of the porches. Eat in on or goi out to eat with lots of restaurant options nearby. Pool, beach, outdoor shower, eat, pool, chill, rinse and repeat!

Overall the house clean and in a great location. However, two issues 1. There were issues with the fire alarms upstairs that may have been on timers, but they went off at 2am most nights even after changing batteries. 2. And most important! The pool does not have a working filtration system. By day three the water was green and both my daughters got severe ear infections. There was suppose to be two pool service trips for the week. No one ever showed up. After the third day the pool was not usable and by the end of our seventh night stay it looked like a swamp. I have photos that im happy to share if any interest. We tried to contact the owner and they never responded. Have no intention of going back to the house.

Our family of 10 stayed a week at this lovely home to celebrate a milestone birthday. The kids (and adults) loved the private pool, proximity to the beach, and the convenience of restaurants and shops a short stroll away. The bedroom layout was perfect for our group as every room offered a bathroom in suite. We would most definitely come back again if we visit Isle of Palms.

We had a wonderful visit. We especially appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom. We also liked having several different living room areas so that some people could watch TV or visit, while others could read a book. The home was well equipped and the owner was so wonderful to work with. We hope to return in 2024!

The property was lovely and location to the beach was great. I had my adult children, their spouses and one grandchild in our group. When we read the check out instructions, we were surprised and somewhat annoyed at what was expected of us in addition to paying a cleaning fee. Our last evening and morning was spent doing laundry and cleaning instead of enjoying our final hours. We all felt that this information should have been shared before booking took place. We are hardly lazy people, but did not expect to have such requirements before leaving, especially if it incurred an additional fee.
In addition, for the cost of the house, we felt like a few more things might have been provided, such as toilet paper and trash bags.
Before we left, we washed all towels and sheets, took out all trash and recycling, thoroughly cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed. I believe your housekeeper had a very easy day.

Our trip was made when we arrived at this home. It is beautifully decorated and everything you need for your time on the Isle of Palms is there. Great time just relaxing but close enough to walk to the community hot spots. We'll be back!!

We rented the house for a long weekend and our expectations were far exceeded. The pictures did not do this house justice. It was PERFECT. The house is set up for entertaining and family. There were eight of us and were not even crowded a little. The large table, the open concept, the pool, were amazing and allowed us to gather. The bedroom/bathroom setup was perfect so we each family had their own space to sleep and own bathroom. Highly recommend this gem!

Check in was at 1600, however communication with cleaning staff and owner caused us to arrive at 1700 and nothing had been cleaned. Manager apologized and had staff come to clean. However, this left us hanging around until after 2100. And after and 8 hour drive this was the last thing we wanted to do. We were not compensated for the inconvenience. 🙁 was a great location.

A Perfect Week
This property is everything stated and more. We were in Charleston for our son's wedding with many family members and friends in attendance. This home was a perfect gathering place for dinner with ample room for everyone to sit down and eat. The house is decorated beautifully, a short one block walk to the beach, a beautiful pool which was serviced twice while we were there, beach toys, grill, large pot for cooking Beaufort Stew outside, great location, quiet street, plenty of dishes and serving pieces, comfortable beds, great porches. There were only 2 drawbacks --- the back yard needed the grass cut (it was ankle deep by the end of the week) and the Isle of Palms police. A family member parked on the street for 15 minutes while waiting for another member to leave. We were visited by an IOP police officer who threatened us with a $100.00 ticket if the car wasn't moved immediately. The next day we moved one vehicle to the area noted for beach parking to leave room for another vehicle to temporarily park in the driveway -- when my daughter went to get her car she had received a $100.00 ticket for parking in the wrong direction --- it's a dead end with NO traffic. We have since been told by folks who live in Mt. Pleasant that they no longer visit IOP because of police issues there. Of course this is not the owner's fault, but FYI, if you come in separate cars like we did because of all the wedding running around we had to do, you'll need to be careful about parking. Otherwise, it couldn't have been better.

The home has a realtor lock box on the front door which means that hundreds of Charleston Realtors have key access to the property while you are renting it. It also means that you could have potential buyers out walking the property - this should be disclosed to all potential VRBO renters.
