Nestled in Isle of Palms, this attractive house for $733 per night is a great option for your next vacation. We grew up here so we know this is the best location on the Isle of Palms. It is a 5BDR / 4BA / 4,000 sq ft. house all on one level. There is plenty of room for the kids and adults to spread out and have their own space. There are hardwoods throughout the house except for the tile in the 4 bathrooms (tile), kitchen (tile), sunroom (tile) and wood deck. We specialize in the details. For instance we provide amenities such as 5 beach chairs, beach toys, linens, kitchen condiments and seasonings, laundry detergent, shower bar soap, dishwasher detergent, kayaks, a canoe, life jackets, boogie boards, and so much more are included! If you had to rent / buy / or pack any of this you would spend way more than you thought. We provide it for free! Having your own private dock allows you to fish, crab, swim, or boat right in Hamlin Creek which is just off the Intracoastal waterway. Dolphins are almost always seen in the creek. Use our kayaks and canoe or bring your own boat. The dockhouse gives you lots of shade and is my favorite place during a rainstorm. If it rains, enjoy the sunporch with its pool table, ping pong table, or air hockey. The walk to the beach is 2 short blocks and takes 5 minutes. There is a nice safe bikepath directly to the beach. The home is equipped with 5 flat screen tvs, cable service with lots of channels, and wifi. Remember you are on an island so my recommendation is to unplug and take advantage of the deepwater dock, beach, proximity to Charleston, and rich history of the area. We have a ping pong, pool, and air hockey table on the sunroom. Since we are local we can point you to the best restaurants, shopping, historical areas, fishing, and surfing spots, and places to rent bikes, jet skis, etc.. All bed linens, kitchen towels and bath towel sets are provided for your convenience. We include a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath and dish soaps, paper towels, etc. If you need to restock you are 1 mile from a Harris Teeter. We also provide you with 5 beach chairs, an umbrella, and a beach buggy to roll any other items to the beach. You only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels. We loved the house and all the gathering areas. We had many game nights and family meals. The dock was a plus as it was great to watch the dolphins and birds play.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at this property in winter although we have been coming to IOP for Christmas for 20 years and it is our favorite by far. The main point for us is a house with a deep water dock which is very rare. The second key feature is enough bedrooms for our 3 generation family. This place offers that and so much more. Plenty of living space so we can spread out when we need to but all gather comfortably when we want. Great view of the Intercoastal waterway. Kitchen is large and well equipped so we can feed 12 a full Christmas dinner without stress. Everything was expertly cleaned at our arrival and in full working order. (We did quickly learn the truck of unplugging the tv so it would recognize the various streaming services we wanted). Clay responded to my questions immediately and his answers were always helpful.

Property was perfect for our 3 generation group (35-82). Layout of house was great for the week. Deep water dock allowed for using our own boat to go fish and enjoy the weather. Members of our party enjoyed walking around the island and along the beach. Didn’t get to see and dolphins. Entry to and around the house was handicap accessible (wheelchair) but unfortunately no shower was accessible for a wheelchair bound person. The shower door was not wide enough to allow access from a wheelchair to a shower bench or chair. I spoke with property manager about changing the fixed shower head in the bathroom that had a tub to a hand held shower and adding a handrail and providing a shower chair/bench so that bathroom could be used by a wheelbarrow bound individual. He seemed open to making those adaptations. If you have a handicap individual in your party , just be sure ask about the bathrooms and make sure they suit your needs.

The property is amazing and having the dock was a bonus. We caught fish, an eel, stingray and some crabs. We enjoyed the nightly sunsets from the dock as well. We all are looking forward to visiting again!

We stayed the week before our daughter’s graduation at MUSC. We needed a house to comfortably sleep 8 and this house was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was a very short, easy walk to the beach. We spent the evenings out on the dock to enjoy the sunset, cool breezes, and change of the tide. We even spotted dolphins swimming in the waterway. We would definitely choose this home in the future.

We loved everything about this home! Perfect location, great for a large family with lots of different places to sit and gather, well equipped kitchen, the back porch was a slice of heaven, the view was spectacular and the dock was wonderful for our boat. The garage and extra refrigerator was really nice too. Communication with homeowner was excellent as welll.

my friends and I stayed at this house for my bachelorette party and had an absolute blast. Clay was super responsive and accommodating for our group! an excellent location that is walking distance from the beach and a quick 25 min drive down into the city - 10/10 would recommend staying here!!

The house was incredible - there is a ton of space and the layout really works well with having a dock on the water, a really nice yard with a great view, screened on porch and then plenty of room inside with a very open layout.. this along with plenty of bedrooms and great location made this an amazing long weekend.. would def recommend

The house was perfect. 5 bedrooms and a pullout couch gave everyone enough room to sleep and be comfortable. The pool room and back porch were amazing and the dock was even better. The groomsmen got ready for the wedding here and loved all the amenities.

Clay let us check in early since we came 1 day early to the area to avoid a snowstorm. The house was perfect for a family of 10. Even better than I expected. The dock was so much fun. We rented fishing equipment and caught saltwater fish. Hope to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! It's a great house with an amazing dock. The location can't be beat. The house has lots of comfortable living areas, spacious bedrooms and four full bathrooms. It was really clean and well equipped with just about everything we could have wanted. Having access to the garage (with an extra fridge!) was really nice for unloading and loading our stuff as well as parking the car. The kayaks and canoe were a great bonus and we were lucky that it was warm enough to use them. Would definitely stay again!

Our extended family of nine fit wonderfully into this comfortable and pleasant home. We loved having comfortable conversation spaces, a play area complete with a multi-game table, private sleeping accommodations, two dining tables, and a nicely equipped kitchen! Add to that a dock on the Intracoastal Waterway and a short walk to the beach - what more could one ask? Other amenities such as grocery stores and great restaurants are located close by, and access to Charleston and its attractions is easy. We have been staying on the IOP for almost 20 years, and this is our unanimous choice for our next SC reunion!!

Host was very accommodating (early check-in). & responsive. Home was very clean, inviting & welcoming. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for a family gathering. Although it was too cold to enjoy kayaking. we caught many fish from the dock & spent lots of time using the ping pong table. Don’t miss the opportunity to make memories at this rental. 5*

This home was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and in a great location on Hamlin Creek with a short dock and plenty of water toys. It has more room than the listing might indicate and our whole family could sleep, play, and eat together comfortably. I would definitely rent it again.

The listing was very accurate and the location was perfect. Stayed with my 2 sons and family, 4 grand children 13 to 7. The property had everything you needed for the beach and the bay, beach chairs bikes, paddle boards an kayaks. The owner was extremely helpful. We had come for a family wedding and the property easily accommodated 30 people for gathering the day after.

Something about walking into a home and feeling the vacation vibe right at the get-go! All types of beach chairs, sand pails, 2 wagons, etc for the beach which can be accessed two blocks away. Perfect for kids/no stairs. Kayaks, canoe, paddleboards can be used right off our dock. Rooms were huge complete with luggage stands and clean towels in each bed. Two huge family rooms to enjoy every season. Just a beautiful home. Thank you so much, Clay, and thank your dad too. Y’all made it so easy 😊

The house was laid out great for us - room for the kids to play cards and room for the older adults to talk. We met the father of the owner when he came over with a plumber (not because of a problem we had, just a quick fix they needed). We mentioned the house seemed to have everything but a muffin pan, but we could work around that. A few hours later he came back with a brand new muffin pan!

The home was well equipped with everything needed to enjoy the inlet or a beach wagon with chairs and toys if you want to spend the day on the sand!

Great location, and plenty of room for our family of nine. We enjoyed the dock and beach. The home could use a good cleaning, esp floors. We left our shoes off in the Garage or back porch to not track in sand, but walking around in the house from day one we all had black bottom dirty feet. Otherwise it was pretty much as described and we enjoyed our stay!

We love a classic IOP beach house, and this is one belongs to a longtime IOP family. It's full of old things and designed to showcase views of the marsh from the kitchen to the three rooms beyond it, with bedrooms along a long hall to the side. They have generously provided kayaks, paddleboards, and a canoe as well as life jackets in addition to a beach wagon, chairs, boggie boards, and a beer/wine frig in the garage. We are a cooking family and there is There's also a boat lift on what we called the vintage dock, and paddling in to the sunset is a Lowcountry high! The owner's notebook provided great details on the house as well as water safety tips. Thanks, Clay and Clyde!

We had a great vacation at this home. The walk to the beach was super easy. We also rented and golf cart. Loved having it to make trips to the grocery store, surf shop and restaurants. There were lots of beach items organized and ready to use. We loved spending time on the screened in porch. All the guys in our group loved fishing off the dock. It was a great property!

Sunsets are magnificent here. It’s hard to leave the dock! The house offers plenty of space to spread out but we all seem to congregate on the screened porch. We book before we leave to secure next year!
