Дійсно треба мати біруші з собою бо дуже тонкі стіни і чутно як ходять сусіди, іде дощ та бʼють дзвони!
Бо ті біруші які нам поклали були брудні.
Сходи щоб потрапити в номер доволі круті з валізою буде не зручно.

Situated right in the heart of charming Utrecht's town center, the boutique hotel enjoys proximity to an array of bars, restaurants, and shops, making it an ideal location for exploring the vibrant surroundings.
One standout highlight for me was the exceptional breakfast experience at Anne & Max. The breakfast, cooked fresh and served with a smile, stands out as one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. This alone makes a stay at Cosy Pillow memorable.
Given the overall positive experience, I am looking forward to booking a night at Cosy Pillow on my next visit to Utrecht.

De hele ruime kamer was top. Verder perfecte locatie midden in het centrum en heel mooi aan de gracht. De ruime badkamer was ook heel mooi.
In de nacht was het erg lawaaierig onder de gracht.

The location is very central, the room was lovely with a modern shower, comfortable bed and good quality linen.
The stairs to reach the rooms are extremely steep and difficult to manoeuvre. I have a disability and found the stairs incredibly hard to use, this is really important information and should be in the description of the venue. The bathroom and bed area were spotless but the shelves near the coffee machine had spillages from the previous occupant, and packaging from their coffee and sugar sachets. There were no decaf options, only 2 pods of coffee for the machine and a couple of tea bags plus loads of sugar packets. There wasn't any kind of milk. The mini bar had a price list but most of the items weren't in it! The electronic check in system is handy but on a Sunday and Monday there are no staff to speak to about any issues unless it's an emergency in which case there is a number to call or WhatsApp (the issues above were not emergencies, just disappointing). In the morning when we tried to check out, there was a massive bag of laundry blocking the stairs, with no member of staff in sight at the time. It took two of us plus another resident to heave it up on to the landing. This was a fire risk as well as inconvenient. The biggest issue is that the area is incredibly noisy, when we arrived we saw complementary ear plugs by the sides of the bed and wondered why they were included... well, there were clock tower bells ringing at least every 30 minutes, building works and scaffolding, shops receiving deliveries at all hours, I found it impossible to sleep at all.

Top locatie. Wat meteen ook het nadeel is: veel kerkklokken. Bij het zien van de oordopjes naast het bed ging er een lampje branden. Kerkklokken overal naast je oren, dus geen ontkomen aan. ieder uur en ieder half uur een vol kerst ensemble
Totaal geen overeenkomsten met de foto's van Booking.com. Hele kleine kamer, geen werkende tv en de minibar had een prijslijst die niet overeenkomt met de inhoud.

Mooie kamer op zeer goede locatie met fijn bed. Zeer handig sleutel- en inchecksysteem. Inbegrepen ontbijt bij nabijgelegen koffietentje was heel goed.

Super ligging in het hart van de stad op loopafstand van het station. Je loopt het hotel uit en kan meteen op een terras gaan zitten. Echt een aanrader voor een stedentrip.
De kamer is schoon en biedt uitzicht op een winkelstraat. De verdere faciliteiten zijn basic. Als je niet van rumoer houdt is dit geen aanrader.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang – Zimmer durchaus geschmackvoll eingerichtet - aber…
Leider völlig unpraktisch – Der Einrichter hat wohl selbst nie in einem Hotel übernachtet.
Keine Steckdosen am Nachttisch. (wo lädt man denn sein Handy?) Man muss sich auf dem Boden legen und unter dem Nachttisch noch eine freie Steckdose suchen. Ein riesiger, unsinnige rEinbauschrank, aber kein Platz, wo man sich hinsetzen könnte (ein Klapptisch hinter dem Vorhang, von dem man allerdings nicht weiß, wo man ihn hinstellen sollte.).
Das Bad ist winzig. – und das ganze Zimmer hat mit luxuriöses nichts zu tun (außerdem Preis dafür😊)
Eine Aussicht auf einen verdreckten Innenhof und für die Treppe braucht mit einem Rucksack schon eine Bergsteiger Ausbildung – geschweige denn, da einen Koffer hoch zu bekommen.
Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet – bei dem Preis finde ich es aber dennoch kleinlich für den zweiten Kaffee Zahlen zu müssen.

De locatie was midden in het centrum, dat was top. Het ontbijt was goed maar was op een andere locatie. dan het hotel. Het bed was wel comfortabel.
Communicatie op de website. Afbeeldingen komen niet overeen met de realiteit. Kamers zijn zeer klein. Er wordt nergens aangegeven dat het ontbijt op een andere locatie is. Ook is het niet duidelijk dat je niet incheckt bij een balie maar in de winkel ernaast. Deze is vervolgens dicht op zondag waardoor je niemand meer kunt bereiken. Zo stonden wij voor een gesloten deur omdat ze waren vergeten om de late check-out toe te voegen in het systeem. We zijn drie kwartier bezig geweest om iemand aan de lijn te krijgen. Ook was het erg gehorig.

The staff were very friendly, although we had to get there before the boutique closed at 6pm.
Bathroom was too small and not functional. My wife cut her arm on the shower door handle trying to enter the shower. The access was via three flights of very steep stairs which made it dangerous when carrying your luggage. The breakfast was served at a cafe that was five minutes away, not ideal in the rain. Parking was 40 euros a day which was still 10 minutes away from the property.

Room, bed and bathroom was very good.
Staff (Sonja) was extraordinary helpful and friendly.
A coffemaker was in the room, but it would have been nice with instant Nescafe also.
The stairs were narrow and steep, but not a problem for us though.
Some bells ringing near by every morning and sometime noise from the street but bearable (earplugs was provided in the room 😊.)

I hated the stairs and there is no indication or warning in your introductory blurb warning people about them. For someone from a country where stairs like this are Non Existent it is quite a shock.
The towels were very small and thin.
We also had major problems on several days with room cleaning and getting fresh towels in the werf? room by the canal.
The toilet in my room overflowed but the girls in the shop quickly moved me to another room which I really appreciated.
I think the worst experience was coming back to the werf room and finding it UNLOCKED AND OPEN That was presumably by the cleaners and We had been away most of the day.
That is just not Acceptable!!
Emails were sent and not always acknowledged.
Your reviews are excellent and I’d suggest that there are management problems which need an overhaul.
The rooms need a full time manager, not just part time staff.

I like the location, because it is close to the central station and the Jaarbeurs Congres center. I also like the hotel because it isn't your standard hotel (but it has a lovely atmosphere). I really appreciated the coffee machine in the room. I had some great coffee!
Unfortunately my room didn't have a cabinet to do some writing or working.
