About this house rental

This three-story townhouse in Kawama is ready to help you chill out during your next vacation to the Florida Keys. We offer legal short term rentals (always ask for the Permit!) and include the golf cart and kayaks. We also have a an onsite ramp (no charge). Check out the photos! Tastefully decorated and fully furnished with newer appliances and furniture. By far one of the best 3 story townhouse units in Kawama. Plus we include for free WIFI, golf cart, bicycles, kayak, and marina ramp access. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living rooms, four balconies and steps from the pool and saltwater lake. This layout is great for families. Compare the photos of other units and you'll see how new our place is. The unit comes loaded with all the standard amenities (kitchen supplies, paper products, blenders, toasters, crockpots, towels, bed sheets, cribs, highchair, blueray DVD, cable, etc.) plus all the toys including tennis rackets, snorkeling gear, fishing poles & tackle, books, free WIFI, board games, darts, floating noodles, a 'sit-in' type kayak and bicycles. The pool and saltwater lagoon is just steps from the back door and adults can watch the kids while relaxing on balcony. If you love to cook then check out the all new LG stainless steel appliances and BBQ's down by the oceanside. There is a new full size washer & dryer for your laundry needs. There are two 55+ inch tv's plus an additional TV in the master bedroom. Two couches on the ground floor are sleeper sofas. The on-site marina (with boat ramp), oceanfront access, 24 hour security, boat trailer parking and tennis courts make this place the best value for your money. You can snorkel, kayak, fish or just catch a tan from the beach or jetty. Access to the marina ramp is free.

My husband and I stayed in the unit for our anniversary vacation. We didn't have the golf cart for a few days but Carlos kept us informed as to when it would be available. He did compensate us for the days we didn't have it. The kitchen had everything we needed when we were eating in. The screened in lanai on the middle floor was the best! We used that a lot! The only negative about this particular unit is the bedrooms were on the top floor. That's 2 flights of stairs to carry your luggage up. The beds weren't the best but we survived. As far as location, it's an easy 2 hour drive to Key West and about an hour and 15 min from Miami. Lots of great restaurants nearby and an amazing fresh seafood store that you can ride the golf cart to. If you enjoy pickle ball, bring your rackets! People are out there playing all the time! We would stay here again.

The property was clean & well maintained. Close to everything in Key Largo & easy access to route 1. The only suggestion would be blinds in the 2 upstairs bedrooms to block the outside lights at night.

Wonderful Accomodations and Great Host
Our trip was a family vacation for a week and Carlos made things easy. The unit was clean and stocked. We asked if we could check in a bit early after our 13 hour drive and Carlos graciously obliged. Will most definitely stay here again.

Tennis court are really nice. Lots of racquets to use at the condo. Condo also has three devices for coffee, even a French press. Blender, toaster, etc everything you need. Screened in porches are a nice touch. Don’t bother fishing the jetty or anywhere from shore on Largo. Waste of time. Get on a boat if you want to catch fish. Even bridge fishing was an epic failure. Catch some snapper on a party boat with chunk bait and bring it home to pan cook with lemon and butter. Best meal you’ll have all week. Avoid any restaurant with a huge open bar in the middle. Too many drunk locals yelling and swearing to enjoy a family meal. Golf cart was a life saver. Glad we had it. Kayaks too. Overall great trip. Hint: best key lime pie we had all week was actually bought for $9 at Publix (for the whole pie).

2 families with 4 teen boys made great memories and had plenty of space to be together - and apart during nice long weekend. The property and amenities were great. Very well stocked and nice, new appliances. Personal touches made it feel like staying in a friend's home.

My family chose this place because they offered a golf cart to get around the property and my adult daughter is unable to walk. We notified the owner that the cart wasn't working when we arrived. He was attentive to the situation and promised that he would have the cart put in the shop the next day and would have them drop a different one off to us if they couldn't get it fixed. That seemed fair. However, the cart wasn't picked up until Tuesday evening. We rented the place from Saturday to Saturday. We finally received a cart on Thursday, leaving us the ability to use it for 48 hours (unfortunately, when we had bad weather). We had chose this community since it had the jetty, pools, and the means to allow my daughter the ability to enjoy the amenities. However, my family was unable to make use of the property amenities since we lacked the means to take my daughter. Don't count on this condo being cleaned. Dishes were dirty, the oven still had oven cleaner inside it, grease was on the kitchen cabinets, there was something sticky all over the side of the master bed and on the floor, the coffee table had prints all over it, etc. This owner expects you to launder all of your linens (sheets and towels) before you leave. Therefore, you are trusting that the vacationers before you have truly laundered the linens for your stay. I have never had to actually do the laundry before leaving a VRBO. The most I have been required to do with regards to linens was strip the beds. Further, I don't understand why I am paying a cleaning fee if I am the one cleaning the unit. Petty things...the t.v on the bottom floor did not work. However, the owner did say he would call the cable company while I was on the phone so that they could tell me how to fix it. I didn't want to deal with it, so I told him never mind. The upstairs bathroom doesn't have a trash can, there wasn't any dishwasher pods, the unit doesn't have potholders, the unit only has 2 wash clothes, etc.The positives...the location is excellent! The owner gave us small refund for not having a golf cart. However, this small refund didn't even equal 10 percent. I feel as though the owner didn't offer much since we were unable to use the amenities (which were the reasons for choosing this location). I could have stayed elsewhere much cheaper if I knew we were not going to be able to use the property.

Great place. Would definitely stay here again. The bikes, kayaks, pool and lagoon were awesome bonus things to enjoy. The location was great however we didn’t leaving the grounds all that much because we were enjoying it so much. Boat slip rental available and super convenient if you’re coming with your boat. The only thing I that bugged was all the cushions on the chairs were pretty dirty. Otherwise everything was clean and we can’t wait to go back.
