No breakfast available, but we were given vouchers for reduced cost of breakfast at local cafe just a short distance from the accommodation. Raj was very helpful and was able to let us check in early which was very convenient.

Raj proved to be an excellent host. I was travelling to appear for my exam in the morning and naturally felt anxious. However, Raj greeted me warmly and guided me through the party - made me feel super-comfortable. The room was nice at the top and it was warm but Raj ensured I had all the necessary amenities one could expect from a short stay to keep myself cool. Really great if you are looking for a stay! Highly recommend!

I have stayed there once previously 2 years ago, and was happy to return when a research project took me back to Caversham. Raj the owner is a very friendly and helpful host and happy to spend time chatting, which I did enjoy very much. Nothing is too much trouble and he answers the phone immediately both ahead of your stay or indeed if you have any queries during your stay. The place is spotless, well cared for and comfortable with a personal touch. Much better than a soulless Holiday Inn and dare I say, a lot cheaper. The road it is situated on has a number of takeaways, a Minimart, a cafe for breakfast (for only £5 with a voucher from the owner) and a great pub The Moderation, which also does excellent cuisine...all easily walkable on the same street ! Oh and good wi-fi with more charging points than you could shake a stick at !
I get freaked out when I can't turn central heating off completely, although I realise that this isn't always possible. I'm just funny that way, but Raj did try to help !

Good location. Owner very kind holding on to my luggage and took the bags up and down the stairs as I’d hurt my knee.
Carpets filthy. Couldn’t open the window to air the room. Too many beds for the space. Air fresheners squirt and are toxic
