About this condo rental
Situated in Mendocino, this charming condo for $199 per night is a great option for your next break. This warm and welcoming home away from home, the Mendocino Village Suite, has an eye to detail and welcomes you to the heart of Mendocino Village. Featuring knock out white water views and lovingly tended gardens, you will walk up a brick path to your private accommodations and a dutch door entry. Just inside is a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner gas stove and all you could imagine for preparing a meal if you wish, including a full size fridge. Village Suite also offer a stacked washer and dryer for your use, which is a rare feature in most rentals in Mendocino. Facing south, is a large picture window with a unobstructed, breathtaking view overlooking the Headlands State Park and the Mendocino Bay. There is a smart TV, DVD player and stereo, a love seat, coffee table, desk, and a large Lazyboy chair with massage features and a gas fireplace so you will be cozy and comfortable. There are also books and DVD's for you to enjoy! A dining table perfectly framed in the south facing window, a pillow top queen bed, and near the bed, a bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo and a garden window. Linens and towels are all upgraded100% cotton, as we provide you what we would want to have ourselves! Your comfort is our goal..A Weber gas BBQ and a charcoal BBQ are in the side yard. In the front of Village Suite are two Adirondack chairs looking out south to the bay where you can enjoy a glass of wine and look at the views. Village Suite is walking distance to restaurants, shops and everything. and yet is not situated in a commercial district of the village, so you will have peace and quiet. Once people stay with us they never stay anywhere else.....We have an automatic generator, so power outages are not a problem!!!!!

This property is in a great location with easy access to town and to walking trails along the bluffs. Once the fireplace and space heater are going, the studio warms up quickly for which we were grateful on this rainy weekend. The kitchen is well appointed and we thoroughly enjoyed the CDs. The bed was very comfortable and we even asked the owner where she bought her pillows. We will definetely be back.

We loved Cheri's Mendocino rental. It was the perfect spot for our vacation, and we loved being so close to the bluffs. We were lucky enough to see an amazing sunset on our last night.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights after Christmas. we had a great time exploring the cliffs overlooking the ocean and walking around the town. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go and left the car parked at the studio for the duration of our stay. We are already talking about when we can come back for another stay.

I only have positive things to say about this house, and would happily return! It is perfectly located in Mendocino with Ocean Views and easy walks into town. We enjoyed it both as a spot to get out and explore the area (both by foot and by car), as well as to spend some time in the house - reading or playing games. Cheri provided multiple recommendations for food and things to do prior to our arrival! Would happily stay here again and recommend to anyone coming to visit Mendocino.

My mother and I LOVED staying here. The location is ideal- scenic and close to everything (shops, market, restaurants, walkway to scenic views). Since it gets very dark at night, we were glad our place was only a short drive away. The house is exactly as pictured and described (no surprises, in a good way) and the electric fireplace kept us cozy when it was cold outside. I would highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again!

This property is a hidden gem! Location, location, location! It was well kept, clean, and super cute! The town itself is quiet and we felt very safe and comfortable with our surroundings. Views are absolutely stunning and beautiful! The pictures don’t do enough justice. Having the mountains/ocean views right in front of the studio makes it all worth while. Highly recommend this property and I do hope to be back!! Thank you again!!!

This was our first time in Mendocino. My wife and I attended our nephew's destination wedding there and traveled from the Atlantic coast. We could not have been happier with this adorable little cottage. It boasts an unobstructed picturesque view of the bay and the Pacific over the cliffs. The cottage is very comfortable and is stocked with everything one needs including coffee. Communication with host Cheri was seamless and we even got a chance to meet her in person. This could not possibly have been a nicer stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Clean and comfortable. Very quiet and so nice to walk out the door for an incredible walk on the bluffs. The rental has quality kitchen supplies for eating in and the area is abundant with diverse restaurants. The owners are very helpful if needed. We’re coming back!!

We came to Mendocino to escape the valley heat back home. Folks had told us August was "Fog-ust" in Mendocino, and what a beautiful, cool Fogust it was! We loved the views and the location. The place is so well appointed--has everything you need (even a salad spinner!). And it was oh-so-quiet. Lovely. Many thanks to Cheri and Peter for providing such a wonderful oasis.

We enjoyed our second stay here in Mendocino. The house has every accessory a person could thing of, as well as a wonderful collection of art works including sea related items. The view from the front window is amazing. It is a short walk to either the ocean bluffs or the restaurants and shops. We look forward to returning here in the future.

We could not have been more thrilled. This little place was perfect. It had an amazing view of the water. We were walking distance to everything in town. Mendocino was sleepier than we imagined, but it was so nice. The place was nicer than the pictures let on. The bed was super cozy with different pillow types for all sleepers. We opened the windows at night to have that amazing cool crisp California air. We were met with a tiny bottle of wine and Adirondack chairs out front to enjoy the view. The bathroom was nice with super yummy smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The towels were plush. Everything was just perfect.

Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay for our trip, and we would recommend to anyone. We traveled to attend a wedding in Elk with some events in Mendocino. The location of this property was perfect for us. An amazing view, within walking distance of everything you would need, and easily accessible to the highway. We could not have asked for anything as easy and worthwhile. Easily, five stars.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Village Suite! It was comfortable, had all we needed and the dining table with the view of the ocean was fantastic! We liked that we could walk to restaurants, shops and the lovely Mendocino Headlands trail, yet feel like we weren't in the middle of the busier town center.

This studio is a perfect place to enjoy all Mendocino has to offer. The location just outside downtown is perfect. The unit was cozy and well stocked. The host responded quickly to our questions. The view of the ocean was a bonus. We couldn’t say enough about this place. Loved the garden and chairs outside for reading or relaxing. It was great to have a large washer and dryer on our trip from Florida.

The wine and glasses left out were quite a pleasant surprise. The wine was delicious, thank you. One of the wine glasses was covered in splattered residue and greasy fingerprints. When we pulled plates out of the cupboard to eat, there was a stack of dirty plates to choose from. We ended up washing one to share. We left the dishes that were found dirty on top of the microwave for reference.
We ended up eating out due to the foreseen hassle of washing dishes prior to using them. It also left us wondering what else was dirty/not cleaned.
The shower could use some TLC. The sealant between the top/wall piece and the tub/basin piece has failed and is visibly hanging. The handle for the shower head has something crusty and dried up on it.
We cleaned up our mess, washed the dishes we used, put our towels in the washing machine, and took out our trash as requested.
Overall it felt dirty and took away from the relaxation and magic that we sought. A deep clean is in order.
Though the view is gorgeous, and the location convenient, we will not request to stay here again.

This is the best place for a single person or a couple to stay in Mendocino. You can walk everywhere in town, enjoy quiet starlit nights, stay in and cook (and watch cable tv!) or walk to one of the fabulous restaurants in town. Everything you need is provided and the owner is very responsive. The pictures are accurate, bed is comfy, towls/bedding, lights, heater(s), excellent use of space and chairs for indoor/outdoor. Wonderful 'library' and beautiful, local artwork on the walls. I have stayed here many times and plan to return.

A romantic and cozy stay in the village of Mendocino. We like how it's on the quieter, oceanside of the village, but still an easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, art galleries, and fantastic hikes. Kitchenette had everything we needed to cook a couple meals of our own, and the view from this cottage is quintessential Mendocino!
