Located in Bodega Bay, this attractive house for $275 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Comfortably furnished home looking out over the 14th green of the Bodega Harbour golf course with views of the ocean and Bodega Head. You can enjoy a round of world-class golf, then have dinner in the Club House overlooking the ocean. Later on, watch the sunset from the private hot tub, while enjoying a glass of local Sonoma County wine, then fall asleep listening to the sea lions barking on Seal Rock and the fog horn in the distance. Windsong, with over 1,800 square feet, is ideally laid out for two couples or a small family. Generous master suite has a king-sized bed, private bath and cable TV. The guest bedroom has queen-sized bed, cable TV and adjacent private bath. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, offering extra privacy. Top quality linens, hair dryers, washer/dryer, ironing board/iron are all provided. Kitchen has been remodeled including granite counter tops and new appliances. The well-equipped kitchen leads to the dining area which comfortably seats six. You will also find a wonderful selection of cook books and elegant artwork all over the house. The living room features a huge fireplace with copper hood, and leads to the solarium with TV, DVD player, movie library, CD player and CDs. There is a breakfast area looking out over the golf course, and sleeper sofa for the comfort of extra guests. Glass sliding doors lead to the private hot tub. There is a Weber propane BBQ on the back patio. Windsong has a high speed internet connection via Comcast cable to accommodate people who want to get away but have to stay connected. There is a wireless router to allow use of your own laptop with wi-fi card. Bodega Bay is a quiet, secluded, peaceful sanctuary, yet only 55 miles from the sophisticated City of San Francisco. Hiking and bike trails abound providing the means to explore the rugged coastline. Enjoy a walk around Bodega Head or take the Pinnacle Gulch trail, which leads directly down to the beach and which is within walking distance from Windsong. There are many local activities in Bodega Bay, Bodega, Sonoma, Petaluma and Sebastopol, such as the Fisherman's Festival and wineries in all directions. We made some good memories at Windsong. Bob and Diana were great hosts. They were very responsive and hospitable. The place was clean, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the ocean view.

We love this house and working with the host. We've stayed at Windsong several times and enjoy. The house has a great set up for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is cozy, has a great kitchen, hot tub with a view, a real gem. We will be back.

Scenic golf course stay, relaxing, comfortable. Many restaurants nearby but closed on Tuesday& Wednesday. Found restaurants that were acceptable and very good. Only complaint was hot water took a long time.

Bottom line: Good value for the location and property. Pro: - Unbeatable location with easy access to town and Doran Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. - Kitchen was generally well-stocked and easy to use; we made multiple breakfasts and full dinners (knives are dull but that’s a minor complaint). - The garage is huge and can fit a small SUV; I appreciated that they gave us full access. - Fantastic fireplace, and the property provided three Duraflame logs. Cons: - We felt a bit deceived about the Tesla charger, which wasn’t available (as of this review, the property advertises a Tesla charger and even has a picture of it); - The owner gave us email and a cell phone to contact with questions, but then wasn’t available for several days (we eventually got hold of the alternate number); - Fan in the second bathroom is broken, and based on the condition of the ceiling seems likely to have been broken for a while.

WINDSONG was the perfect rental for our 4 day getaway to Bodega Bay. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do during our stay, the house is perfectly appointed and the bed was really comfortable. We would definitely book here again!

SO clean and decorated so beautifully. The minute you walked in you felt warm and cozy- like you were home. My family has been vacationing in Bodega Bay for over 50 years- I think we found our vacation home!!!! Thank you

Absolutely precious. We were in love at the entrance. Deer, hummingbirds and a breathtaking view welcomed us. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds!! Tons of Books, movies and games that we never got to investigate but will next time. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed for 4 weeks as a working vacation. Diana and Robert are five star hosts. The house is comfortable and extremely well-equipped, especially the kitchen. We second the person who said that the beds are comfortable.... really comfortable. We look forward to another opportunity to stay at Windsong.

Windsong has the necessities I look for: clean (even the windows), very comfortable beds,, and good water pressure in the showers, It’s unusual to find that combo in one beach house. Check-in was easy and the home was well stocked. We even had the use of the garage door remote making our outings easier. To top it off they allowed us to bring our small dog. She particularly enjoyed spotting the 3 deer that came by twice a day. And I must mention again the VERY comfortable beds!

The cottage was MAGICAL, on the golf course and a fabulous view of the ocean! The Golf Club had a restaurant and snack bar and a beautiful and easy access to the ocean, dog friendly! Tennis courts, pool, pickle ball courts! You never need anything but to enjoy this Magical Cottage and location! Views from the patio of the ocean and golf course from the living room and patio! The hot tub was Divine! This place is a must for everyone! I will be back! Robert and Diana were Awesome! 🤗⭐️

As many others have said, the pictures don't do this place justice. The home is very spacious and cozy with great views of the golf course and the ocean. We spend a lot of time on the coast and are looking forward to another stay at Windsong.

WOW! Beautiful views of the ocean and properties around the golf course. Highway for wild life… deer’s, heron’s, qual’s and love the hummingbirds. Definitely going back and have to take my Mom next time b/ c she loves to golf.

The property has a lovely "lived in"vibe. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed having the sun room, a perfect spot for games and perhaps a puzzle. We saw lots of quail including a family with many little ones. Also spotted deer. a heron and a coyote. Access to the beach is short drive and well worth the effort.
