About this house rental
Nestled in Grover Beach, this attractive house for $140 per night is a great option for your next trip. My home is located in a quiet/friendly neighborhood, rooms bright & sunny, beachy decor very welcoming and relaxing. Two bedrooms, total 600 sq/ft, entire downstairs of home with private entrance and garage, queen size beds (pillow top & memory foam). Private outdoor patio with gas fire table & BBQ, coffee bar w/mini fridge, microwave and all necessary utensils (no stove/oven). Close to many activities: beach, dining, shopping, hiking trails, wineries, whale watching tours, kayaking and golfing. * Additional cleaning fee of $100 for children under the age of 8. This fee maybe refunded if the property is left in good condition. **Beach towels, chairs and cooler/ice available for use during your entire stay. *** Air Purification machines provided for guest protection in rental area and can be used when windows and doors are closed to ensure circulation of clean air. In addition, even though the pandemic is subsiding I plan to continue to proceed with caution. Upon arrival I will greet guest at a distance and provide some basic information. Beyond this initial meeting there will be no contact between guest and the host except thru text or a phone call. Also asking guest to leave several windows open upon your departure as a safe guard before I enter to clean later in the day. The rental is thoroughly sanitized and not booked for several days between each reservation/guest to ensure your safety and peace of mind. More Details: * Private entrance (entire downstairs) * Two separate bedrooms included in rental, 2 guest per room maximum * Top of the line beds, pillows and linens * Bedroom includes TV, wireless internet, iron, clothes steamer * Parking in double car garage, opener provided upon arrival * Private bath including towels and amenities (large beach towels, chairs & small cooler also available for excursions to the beach) * Coffee Bar with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, bottled water, utensils, dishes, condiments (no formal kitchen: stove/oven). * Private patio/garden area with gas fire table & BB-Que and all necessary utensils/pans. * Washer/Dryer (max 2 loads per stay) * No pets allowed. * No smoking indoors, outdoor table/ashtray available in backyard. Beach access 4 blocks, Train station within walking distant (Amtrak), Monarch Butterfly Grove 1.0 mile, ATV Dune rentals within walking distant, Pismo Pier 1.5 miles, Shell Beach 5 minute drive, Avila Beach 10 minute drive, Morro Bay appx 25 minute drive. Bike rentals in downtown Pismo 2 miles. Many local wineries 5 - 9 miles Many golf courses 0.5 - 10 miles Whale watching tours, kayaking, paddle & surf board rental - 10 minute drive

Came to town for a wedding. Location was perfect. Very private. Super clean. Bedrooms were very comfortable! I believe you could describe the unit as an in-law suite. No kitchen sink, but easy to work around.
Highlight is definitely the private back patio. Hummingbirds abound!

My girlhood friend and I loved being in quiet Grover Beach. So many places nearby to drive to, or just walk down to the beach! Denise was a fantastic, helpful and friendly hostess. All was fantastic. Thank you, Denise!

Overall everything was extremely clean, with the exception of some spots on the carpet. The outside deck was very pretty and peacefull. The location was in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to town.

I had sent an e-mail confirming the kitchen arrangements but received no response from the owner. I wanted to verify if there was a stove and a full size fridge (at least 15CF). When our aunt arrived she was surprised that there was no indoor sitting area (living room or kitchen) and sitting out in the patio was too cold & windy. The kitchen only had a coffee maker, a small beverage fridge & small microwave. There was no sink in the kitchen and we had to use the bathroom sink to fill the coffee maker or rinse cups & dishes after use. The owner offered to pick up the used dishes and she would wash them and return them. The unit was very cold and the owner suggested she use portable heaters. When she did use the heater the power went out and the TV did not work nor did the WiFi. The owner called the cable company and suggested a new box was needed but would not be available until the next day. My aunt finally asked the owner to turn on the heat from her upstairs home so we could have heat that night. The unit was clean and we had a garage to park both our cars and the laundry appliances seemed well kept.

Denise the owner is very nice person, very helpful, and responsive. She made our stay very easy and smooth. Denise has done a wonderful job making this play a very pleasant place to stay. We loved this place. The place was very clean and well decorated. The bedrooms were neat, comfortable, clean, and cozy. The area was very good in terms of accessibility to the beach. Denise recommended activities that could be done at the beach. The location of the property was in a very quiet neighborhood. Large backyard area with a table and chairs plus 2 comfy lounges. Denis did a great job as host and made everything easy for us. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Very clean, neat and tidy as well as fast communication. The patio garden was very nice and private. Bed and pillows were excellent. Great parking in the garage and she supplied beach chairs and a cooler for the beach.
She also had great food recommendations. Definitely would stay again.

very good but read and look carefully
Denise the owner is very nice, helpful and responsive, she made everything very easy and smooth for us. The area was pretty good in terms of accessibility to the beach or shopping spots, the yard was beautiful and rooms/kitchen/bathroom/beds/sheets/pillows/furniture were pretty clean and designed thoughtfully.
However there are few heads up I would like to give to people who will rent this spot especially in cold seasons.
The heater gets off at 9am and it's scheduled, guests will have no control over the heater and must ask the owner every time to turn it up or down, day or night, and once it hits 9am no one can change the schedule and temperature stays at whatever is scheduled.
The Owner lives upstairs and the stairs are separated with a slide door with gaps(privacy matter), so you will smell whatever is cooking upstairs and probably you will be heard as you talk normally, let alone the other stuff (if you catch my drift). There are neighbors around and very close, so you need to be very careful with noise if you hang out outside barbecuing or sitting.
Look at photos carefully and don't make my mistake, there are no sinks/dish washing equipment provided and no stove(barbecue has one). The owner takes care of dish washing herself very kindly, but as you know it's not possible to bug the owner every minute to wash a little piece specially with limited dishes. There are no sitting areas inside(no living room, no sofa nor coffee table), so if you wanna sit and eat or drink you must sit outside and concerns will be the weather and noise to not bother neighbors.
This was my honest review of my stay. I enjoyed my stay, but it could have been better if I had looked at the photos carefully to figure out what is exactly offered and available.

Sister's Getaway
My sister and I had a very enjoyable stay in Grover Beach. The area is super cute, and we felt very safe. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The original plan was for our sister-in-law to join us, but, unfortunately, she became sick and could not come. The two bedrooms were perfect for two but one or two more would work if you wanted to share the comfy beds. The back yard is adorable with pretty plants, tables, chairs, bbq, and a fire pit. There is also a picture window view of the ocean. We had perfect weather during our three-night, four-day stay, so we were able to have great views during the day and enjoy the stars at night from the backyard. Beach chairs and towels were available for us to take to the beach. We were also able to throw a load of clothes in for a quick wash; the stackable washer and dryer came in very handy. Our host, Denise, was very pleasant and helpful with suggestions on travel and local places to visit. She was available within a short time to answer any questions we had. Denise even had a free sample of her homemade mango pepper jelly to try and other jellies and jams to purchase, if interested. So yummy!
Just a quick note, the condo is not located on the street, it's a bit behind another, so you will drive down a short driveway to get to the condo and park in the garage.
I would totally recommend this location for your stay. It is a very cute, safe, and restful location, and Denise is a great hostess. Thank you, Denise.

The place was great. The beds were super comfortable. The backyard is beautiful . And the owner Denise was just lovely and very accommodating. We walked to the beach and breakfast. It was a perfect stay for us as we were on a road trip further south. We would stay again for sure.

We had a lovely stay at Denise’s home. We stayed here when dropping my son off at Cal Poly. The location is a quiet town with easy access to everything on the central coast and a short walk to the beach. Everything was perfect with our stay. It was immaculately clean, the beds and linens were high quality and very comfortable and the patio and garage were like a super bonus. Denise was so accommodating. She helped us by accepting and storing packages for our son as we were moving him from the east coast and had to ship most of his things. Denise made us feel so comfortable it felt more like staying in a friends home. I really can’t say enough good things about this rental. I am looking forward to our next stay here!

A week at the beach.
Being from the Phoenix area we were delighted with the weather at Grover Beach. So much to do and see. Excellent restaurants, hikes, shopping and just hanging at the house. This place had one of the most beautiful decks to hang around on. We loved the week we had there!!

Great for Family Beach time
We loved this place! Denise the host is awesome and so kind! The garden space is an oasis! There hummingbirds and butterfly’s galore! There is a small kitchenette with a backyard BBQ. Perfect for our needs! Denise is so accommodating and let us check in early. That way we could get to the beach right away. The beach is only a few blocks from the unit. We drove into Oceano Dunes state park and for $5 you can park right in the beach so you won’t have to lug your stuff. We have already told some friends about this place. We will be back! Thank you Again!

I stayed for 3 nights with my 2 grandchildren. It was a perfect place for us to stay. The outdoor patio area was very nice and the rooms themselves were very clean. This homeowner was very creative into redeveloping this space for guests. We will definitely stay again.
