A hotel right next to the snow resort

I liked that the property is right next to the Iimori snow resort, and very accessible to Hakuba Goryu, and Goryu 47. Also, the staff are all friendly. I also liked that there is free coffee and tea in the lobby of the Annex building, it keeps us warm after snowboarding or while waiting.

The property is expensive and does not have breakfast on our booking.

Location right next to ski lift, and staff even drove us to the train station when we needed to leave early - amazing service!

Excellent staff, fantastic location and great food and service

Staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Location was amazing and excellent additional activities for the kids with a pool table, ping pong table and fuseball

We had a good time.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The closest ski run is literally across the road and is brilliant for beginners and kids.

Somewhat dated, and a little isolated as the Hakuba Valley shuttle stops at 5pm (and was super slow and unreliable anyway), and no walkable restaurants. Everything shuts after lunch. Hot pot and buffet dinners were good though.

Amazing location, the food included was phenomenal and the staff were so nice 😊😊

The location next to Limori ski lift is unbeatable, providing easy access to the slopes. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and kind, exceeding my expectations. The hotel offers a stunning view of the ski slope, adding to the charm of the stay. The cozy dry room was perfect for storing gear and enjoying snooker, ping pong, and board games. The rooms were clean and cozy, ensuring a comfortable stay. It's only an 8-minute drive to Juro Onsen, a great convenience. Don't forget to grab the coupons at the reception, which provide discounts for rentals and day passes at Goryu Ski Resort and Hakuba47.

The only drawback is that Goryu town is quieter than Happo town, so calling and reserving a seat for food is recommended.

poor facilities, unfriendly staff, unclean rooms, damp smell , don’t recommend

Great location literally directly over the road from chair lift.

Hotel smelt damp and smelt odd from walking in and rooms also smelt damp/ mouldy. Rooms were tidy but weren’t cleaned before us. Hair, dirt and stains and mould in bathroom obvious. No where to hang winter jackets and gear near air con to dry. Small drying rack provided insufficient and when did leave gear on to dry during day staff would come into room and turn off air con. We would come back and gear still wet. No proper drying room facilities especially for boots. Just a basement room with air con. Boots wouldn’t dry. Staff also kept turning air con off in this room. Beds were never made would just change towels. Stayed in room to rest one day and staff just came in unannounced, without knocking to change towels. Hot water system was also terrible. Would take 5 mins to get water temp right and even then it was just pulsing hot water.

True Ski in Ski out hotel

Located next to one of the Hakuba Goryu chairlift, if you want to be the first one to enjoy fresh powder every morning, that’s the one.

Not much, but I wish they have a “real” car park flooring… currently it is parking in the mud… ha

Amazing Staff and Location

Amazing location! Very close to the Goryu Iimori lift (like across the street) and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful :)

I wish breakfast could have been a bit better, and more variety of food everyday

Exceptional

Dinner provided was hotpot and it was great. Location is great as its right beside Ilmori slope. The staff upgraded our room for free after seeing that we had our 1 year old child with us.

Good value lodging for skiers and snowboarders with easy access to the slopes.

Very close to the Hakuba Iimori lifts and Iimori bus stop for fairly easy access to other areas like Hakuba Escal Plaza (end stop) and Hakuba 47 and Happo-one. Breakfast and dinner was on the simple side with very little variation but still good value for the price. Store your gear either in your room or the activity room/dryer room. Staff is very friendly and accomodating and provide free pickup/dropoff via car if requested.

Wishes for more breakfast and dinner options/variation and personal lockers for gear. There are no other facilities closeby, though you could walk to Hakuba Goryu where there are bath facitilites and a few restaurants at the base building, it:s a 20+ minute walk uphill.

Winter wonderland

- Location is great - across the road from ski slope connected to a large ski park - free parking nearby - hot-pot dinner (at extra charge) - light breakfast available on site (at extra charge) - foreigner friendly - nice looking hotel exterior - our room had a renovated toilet & bathroom

- The heater is loud and inefficient (room temp was dropping to 15 degrees in the morning) - We missed more breakfast options (even at an extra cost) - Needs some general renovation & upgrades

Fantastic local hotel

The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful in all aspects, particularly in arranging taxis and buying lift tickets. Breakfast was served quickly and was filling enough. The hot pot dinner is available every night and very delicious. The hotel is right outside one of the Goryu Resort chairlifts, and only a few minutes walk to the Goryu Iimori shuttle bus stop. Will definitely be staying here again!

A bit far from most restaurants, so a taxi will be needed to get to them.

Location was good and close to slopes. Chinese hotpot was good for dinner.

Food was not upto the mark for the price paid specially breakfast. Dinner hotpot was okay but quantity was so limited and breakfast was limited too.

Very good

Hotel is very well located, 50 m from the cable car. Buying the ticket is cheaper. You can also have a beautiful mountain view. Spacious room for one person in the Japanese standard. I was welcomed by a foreign staff who was efficient and helpful. . There is a game room, and a small but well-organized restaurant.
