In the middle of winter the location would be perfect with a ski lift within 10m of the door. Unfortunately we arrived a week after the lift closed. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful going out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could be. They have a ski hire on site and the hotel has a dry room to store ski/snowboards with a table tennis and pool table. The location is a bit out of the way so recommend getting a car or taking advantage of shuttle. Important to note when the Iimori ski field closes the shuttle won't come out this way.
Unfortunately like most ski resorts due to the amount of snow/water being tracked in there is a musty smell in the rooms. The hotel would've been amazing when first open but is showing size of age now.
