We had a great stay. The host was exceptional. She went out of her way to make sure everything with our stay was good. We had a little issue with our private bathroom but the staff promptly resolved it and made sure we were taken care of for the trouble. It is a close 10 minute walk to the Goryu Resort.

A warm, cosy and unique house, owned and run by a lovely mother and son. Rooms are big and warm, and the attached restaurant has excellent sashimi and sushi bowls. The Concrete bar is like a little piece of Tokyo nightlife in sleepy Hakuba - great fun.

Since it's the New Year period, the prices might be a bit high, but it offers a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.Free parking is convenient.
The room was heated by gas, and we weren't used to the smell, so we had to turn it off, which made it very cold. It would be great if the smell could be reduced, as one of our friends experienced headaches and nausea.
