Nestled in Dollar Point, this attractive condo for $187 per night is a great option for your next break. **PETS PROHIBITED** Nestled in the trees on the inland side of the Highway, this tri-level townhouse is a great value. 2 updated bedrooms on lower level each with Queen bed, plus remodeled full bathroom. The mid-level features an updated full kitchen, renovated with new paint and flooring, oak cabinets and granite countertops, plus new dishwasher and microwave. Also on mid-level, comfortable living room with laminate flooring, wood-burning fireplace, sleeper sofa, TV/DVD, CD/Cassette player and games, dining table for 4 plus two counter stools. Third level is a lofted bedroom with 2 Single beds, TV/VHS, and 3/4 bathroom. Newer washer and dryer, all updated windows and new deck and siding, too! Just outside of town, enjoy a bike ride to Tahoe City and beautiful Skylandia Beach in summer, or take a short drive to any of the resorts for a day on the slopes! Propane BBQ on deck. Pool and tennis available summer only. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - Downstairs, Queen Bed Bedroom 2 - Downstairs, Queen Bed Bedroom 3 - Upstairs Loft, 2 Twin Beds Must be at least 25 years old to rent. Our properties do not have air conditioning. Please note that this property has a noise devise that monitors excessively loud noises per county compliance. BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day) CHAINS OR SNOW TIRES ARE OFTEN REQUIRED IN WINTER. The management group was easy to work with even when we had to add a day to trip last minute for flight cancelation. I gave three stars on a few things as the place and amenities were dated and there was a bit of visible mouse droppings throughout the place. All in all, the place is decent enough for the price.

Decor is very old fashioned. Beds wiggle quite a bit when rolling over. It’s a 25 minute walk to the lake. On the other side of road, then must walk all the way down Lake Forest Drive. No A/C but they have fans. Tennis courts and pool are nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. Complex is very quiet and clean. Can hear some traffic noise from main road. Pretty forest setting.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here. the location is very convenient. WE didn't try any of the amenities like the clubhouse, pool or tennis courts but we could see them from the balcony. Would stay here again next time we visit.

Cheesy and in poor condition. Wifi Name and pass code provided by manager were incorrect. Toaster was broken and manager never replaced it during our stay.

Property was well equipped with all we needed from extra towels, toilet paper, kitchen towels. Only thing the rental was short of was trash bags. Overall we were comfortable at this rental, very close by to town and beaches.

please note that wifi is extremely slow. Hauserman Rental Agency was a huge help with a hotspot to boost it, but I did ask at least 3 times (before booking) about doing work online as some people had to take computers with them to work remotely. I think they said the speed was .5 something (from AT&T). A whole lot slower than what we're used to. Rental agency was extremely fast in trying to help us get connected and gave us great ideas for restaurants, things to see, etc. Hopefully owners will update wifi speed for next renters. Place is comfortable, cozy, etc. I did see that it didn't have AC, and again, the rental agency lent us fans for the bedrooms, which made it much more tolerable. If I may make a suggestion, the owners might want to buy some beach chairs (for use at the lake) and replace the chairs on the deck with some sturdier ones. The place is easily accessible, great parking, and close to the lake (within walking distance.)

More like 3 1/2 stars. Clean, convenient, good parking, comfortable, all the conveniences you need if you're using it as a home base for other activities, which we were. A bit dated on the inside but what isn't in Tahoe. The only complaint is that there must be hole in the rafters above the patio window because a bird was flying in and out of the living room occasionally.
