Bedding: Split-king The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building. This hotel room has a king bed that can be split into two twins if desired. The room has a flat-screen TV with satellite, mini-fridge, small microwave, fan and humidifier. The private bathroom has a shower (no tub) and hairdryer. This unit has one parking spot in the courtyard parking or public parking lot next door; a permit is required. Parking is first-come, first-served. Complimentary wifi is included. Coin laundry is available. There is no A/C at this property. The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn. Please be aware that your room number may differ from the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest. This room is pet-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night pet fee. The mountainside inn was a great basecamp for our Telluride adventure. The room was pretty basic, but it was clean, the location is great (walking distance to the gondola and most things in town), and the pricing was cheaper than other properties in Telluride. Would recommend for others looking for an affordable option in town.

This property was ideally situated along the river. Our room was pretty basic but clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and did their best to make check-in a smooth process. Just a few little suggestions: label the shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower so they can be identified; include an iron and ironing board in the rooms- clothes get wrinkled after being in a suitcase - and maybe add a few more hooks in the bathroom for towels and such. Otha, we had a very nice stay.

We rented a little studio on the first floor. It was comfortable and convenient. Our friends also rented a condo here. While our room maintained a nice temperature their room was very hot. So, depends which room you get. Not a 5 star, but everything was 5 star for what they offered: cleanliness; friendliness and location.

We had an amazing time in Telluride. Our room was very clean, spacious and we loved the Inn. Location was perfect and the staff was amazing. From check in, to check out and small interactions throughout the week everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We will be staying there again for any upcoming Telluride stays.

The location of this property cannot be beat. Walking distance to the mountain and the town. It was a nice, quiet place to stay with proper amenities. The only thing missing is a hot tub, which unfortunately the website says is closed, but in fact just does not exist. Would stay here again though!

Everything was great except the the it is a first floor property and the only windows face the only driveway/walking entrance to the property thus all cars or residents must pass directly by your open window (no HVAC). The gap/road is only about 9ft wide thusyou hear every car, smell every cigarette, hear every conversation. Location is perfect. The older room was very clean. Staff was wonderful. But I can't recommend staying here if the window must be raised. Stay here in the winter.

My husband and I stayed here for a night during our mini-moon road trip and really enjoyed it! The space was clean and included everything we needed - plenty of space, microwave, fridge, etc. Location was great - quick walk to popular bars and restaurants in town. Check in process was smooth and they were extremely accommodating (let us check in early and check out late) Highly recommend this space!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I was thankful to find this property in the heart of Telluride that was also dog friendly. The property overall was very clean but we found it to be a little outdated. The primary reason for 4 stars is the room we received while beautiful with a view of the river also had a terrible creak in the floor that was very loud when walking or sitting on the edge of the bed. While we have no immediate plans to return to Telluride I would certainly keep this as an option for a future adventure.

Good Location, room was clean, however TV was temperamental, had to get front desk person to fix, and my comments (entered on the VRBO website) about location of room (upstairs, riverside) did NOT get passed on the the property managers. However, the front desk ladies were nice, and managed to get us what we wanted.
