Nestled in Dollar Point, this charming house for $650 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This house is a perfect getaway for family and friends looking to relax, make memories and enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer. The house is perfect for large gatherings and sleeps 8 - 10 comfortably. Located in a great Tahoe City neighborhood, this house has a beautiful and relaxing setting with forest views and a peek of the glimmering lake. There is one large sunny deck located on a greenbelt. There are 9 acres of open land behind the house perfect for exploring and taking in nature. This house is not your traditional darker Tahoe Cabin but is just the opposite. During the winter and summer, the house is full of sunlight and is decorated with modern textiles and furniture. House has a brand new 1,000 Square foot deck with a hot tub. The home features a large fully equipped kitchen with Viking 6 range stove, dining area, and an expansive living room with wall-to-wall windows, a high open ceiling, and a large flat-screen TV. The master bedroom features a queen bed, a private master bathroom, and a door to the deck. The living room, kitchen, dining area, and master bedroom are located on the ground floor. There are two separate upstairs areas. Two bedrooms are located upstairs off the living room, 1 room with a queen bed and the other with a 1 queen bed. The house offers the following: - Gas BBQ on deck (summer only) - Wood fireplace - Quiet neighborhood - Internet, wireless, home phone - Cable with a flat-screen TV in living room - Washer and Dryer - Kitchen with everything you need - WiFi - plenty of parking on the circle driveway - Tons of board games - Pack 'n' play Bedrooms: 4 bedrooms, sleeps 10 - Bedroom 1 (queen bed) - Bedroom 2 (queen bed) - Bedroom 3 (queen bed) - Bedroom 4 (four twin beds) NO GARAGE ACCESS - The house is close to the following: Bike paths and trails are abundant in the area and are easily assessable. Hiking trails are endless and beautiful. Lake fishing companies operate out of Tahoe City. Kayaking, boating, jet skis, stand-up paddleboarding, playgrounds, beach volleyball, fishing, river rafting are all located nearby. Things to do in Tahoe during the summer: Tree Top Adventure Park (zipline and ropes obstacle courses), fly fishing, crawdad fishing, biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, boating, fishing, golfing, river rafting, horseback riding, swimming, mini golf, tennis, running Things to do in Tahoe during the winter: Snowboarding, Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Ice Skating, Sledding, The house is less than 30 minutes away from major ski resorts: -15-20 minutes to Squaw Valley Lodge (10 miles) -10-15 minutes to Alpine Meadows Ski Resort (10 miles) -24 minutes to Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort (14.2 miles) -15 minutes to Homewood Mountain Resort (9 miles) -26 minutes to Diamond Peak Resort (14 miles) -5 minutes to Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area other Neighborhood Location Highlights: *10 minutes to Granlibakken resort: Tree Top Adventure Park *5 minutes to Tahoe City, shopping and restaurants *10 Minutes to Kings Beach *25 Minutes to Sand Harbor or Emerald Bay *Nevada State casinos are 15-20 minutes away Please note that the minimum age to rent this is house is 25 years old. No smoking and no pets allowed, sorry. We are looking to rent to those that will treat the house as if it were their own. If you are looking for a party house please explore other options. WE ARE VERY SERIOUS ABOUT OUR NOISE AND GUEST POLICY. QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 8PM - 8AM. IF YOU WANT MORE THAN 10 GUEST, ARRANGMENTS MUST BE MADE AHEAD OF TIME (iNCLUDES CHILDREN IN HEADCOUNT). This house has priority snowplowing making for easier access in the winter, but four-wheel drive with snow tires or chains are recommended. Amazing house, even better deck!
Perfect house for our group of 10. The house was immaculate, the deck was incredible with space for everyone to enjoy. Great location too. Mary was extremely communicative and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone!

Clean, spacious house with fully equipped kitchen
The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen is fully functional and has you covered for any type of cooking you will do, just bring your own food. They even have some spices and oils. The furniture was a bit old, but all of it was cleaned well. The location is very nice, with enough parking for 3-4 cars in the driveway.

Great snowy getaway in Tahoe
Sundries were well-stocked. House was clean and warm during the winter. What was most fun was the 4-bed bedroom in the converted attic-- was perfect for our young boys who had a blast sleeping in there with friends. The backyard was vast and quiet and was perfect for snow play. Finally, the owner was super responsive during our entire stay.

Beautiful Lake Tahoe Home
This home is comfortable, fully equipped, clean and big enough for 10 people. We had 3 minutes drive to Tahoe City and 10 and 15 minutes to Alpine and Squaw Valleys. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely rent this place again.

Great, well-designed house for large group in a central location
We came here with a group of 13 avid skiers. This was the perfect house to come back too, hot tub, and games easily keep everyone busy. Also very cool location and spacious property to explore.

Very nice house!
I loved how stocked the kitchen is! It made it so much easier to cook there and have enough plates forks etc.! Some places don’t have as many plates or utensils.
The beds, at least the one we stayed in was very comfortable and the snow view we had that morning was amazing!

Clean and spacious house in a scenic, quit neighborhood
I highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group looking for a quiet getaway. It is located in a tree filled neighborhood with beautiful scenery. If you like to cook the kitchen is well stocked with every cooking tool imaginable plus it has a large deck with both gas and charcoal grills. There are great spaces for spending time together in the living room, in the play room garage, comfortable seating outside on the deck, or in hot tub. Bedrooms are small and simple but clean and comfortable.

Perfect family reunion home
Love it! Mary is very responsive and helpful. The house was perfect for our family reunion! It was clean and well organized. And, everything we needed was right there! We loved the garage game room and the kids thoroughly enjoy pinball and corn hole! We would DEFINITELY return. Thank you again.

Bright airy mountain home
We were a group of 10 that had plenty of space in this house. The kids LOVED the upstairs bedroom with the fold out beds. Also, the game area in the garage was a hit. It snowed the first night we were there and the roads in the neighborhood are not plowed consistently. We discovered the main way to the cottage was impassable due to ice/snow, even with chains. Fortunately, you just have to go through the neighborhood a bit and we were able to get home again. The house is well equipped, mostly. There were a few things that we couldn't find (hand towels, tea kettle, salad spinner). Also, at night, the main living area had almost no lighting, so it was very dim. It was very convenient being close to Alpine and the lake. There is a very helpful and very extensive house manual which was great! No need to guess how things worked. Thanks for letting us use your lovely home!

Great family trip!
We decided to have Christmas in Tahoe. With 13 people in one cabin, we were a little worried about space. It was very comfortable and clean. The back deck and hot tub definitely helped give us more space to enjoy! Everyone had a terrific time and space was never an issue!

Too much fun!
Mary and Sebastian's home was great for our family of 10! There was a bed for everyone, and a grand family table for us to all eat together. The home is in a prime location, and very close to Squaw Valley.
The Scala's have maintained their home very well, and stocked it up with a bunch of activities for the kids, such as a shuffleboard and ping pong table. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare and feed a large family.
Didn't have a chance to check out the hot tub, but it's easily accessible from the master bedroom.
Mary is very responsive and thorough with her house rules that we didn't have any questions.

Lovely and luxurious
We had a fabulous, snow-filled, long weekend in this very comfortable, well-equipped and beautiful house. We came with two other little families (10 people altogether) and there really was plenty of room for all of us, with good privacy and separation between all of the rooms. The house is close to ski resorts and everything else so we were able to accommodate people wanting to ski, sled and ice skate. There was a lot of snow gear (sleds, snow shoes and more) and the kids had a lot of fun just playing close to the house. The kitchen was so roomy and well equipped that we were able to cook elaborate meals while enjoying a cocktail around the kitchen island. We'll definitely be back.

Everything you need
This was a great house for our group of 3 families including 5 kids ranging from 5-8YO. Well located to ski areas, as well as dining and other activities in Tahoe City, but quiet and rural feeling neighborhood. Kitchen was very well equipped, as others have said. The bedrooms are well-located for privacy and sound insulation, with master and 4-twin bed room on opposite ends of the house, and 2 remaining BRs in the middle. Super clean, with attractive contemporary decor. Heat worked quickly and well, which in my experience is not guaranteed in all ski houses! LR is equipped with Wii and DVD, however we were unable to get the sound to work on the DVD - this was not a big deal though. HUGE backyard for exploring, though we did not have a chance to explore hiking trails. Will be returning!

Beautiful home. Spacious floor plan, no one feels crowded. all the modern amenities of home. Quiet neighborhood. Close to beaches and town. Relaxing outdoor deck. Great family getaway. We can't wait to go back!
