Glorified Airbnb. Don’t waste your time

Location

HVAC system wasn’t working properly. They knew that’s why when I arrived they had the thermostat at 88 degrees. On top of all instead of them running to fix it when I brought it to their attention, they became defensive and started arguing. Booking process is complicated. Even I booked it through booking, you have to go through 2-3 other steps that the owners require. Forms on top of forms. Extra deposits, cleaning fees, etc. if I wanted to waste my time with Airbnb type rentals I would have gone directly to their site. Booking shouldn’t allow these people in their site.

Exceptional

Location was great! Facility and stuff are very helpful. We had everything that we need in the room. There is a supermarket nearby. Very close to metro stations, the library, the river and the neighborhood is amazing.

The rooms are a bit small but the design is very convenient.

Nice and convenient but heating/cooling was broken and bed and bath were too small

Close to my daughter’s apartment; bed was comfy; fridge; nice shower

Heating/cooling system; sent a message to Maverick Suites because there were issues with heating and cooling and no one answered!!! Was’t enough room for bed and it was up against the wall..so my husband had trouble getting in and out of bed. Bathroom was so tiny!

Comfortable, clean, cozy, and great location.

I liked the location of the property it was clean and comfortable. Spacious enough for one person. No streaming services, but a lot of channels to choose from. Property is located at a walking distance from a lot of restaurants, stores, and public transportation.

I would’ve liked a little more cooking supplies and an extra blanket.

Location is perfect! Right on Newbury St, close to everything.. Studio apartment with fully equipped kitchen.

Bed was not very comfortable and pillows should be upgraded - pretty poor. Hardly any toiletries (only shampoo and soap), keep in mind if travelling - does not match the property description.

The room was in a great location!! It was nice and clean and had everything I needed for a weekend stay. The door lock security made me feel safe.

location, location, location

Fantastic location! Conveniently located near T and bus stops and Blue Bikes. Everything is clean, check-in was super easy, and the Maverick website with resources was helpful too.

It is a lively area, so be prepared for drunken college girls to scream how much they love each other around 2am, lol. That said, I would 100% stay here again, so don’t let that deter you. Also, just a heads up that this apartment is better for smaller people - it’s tough to get in the closet (I stood on the bed), and the bathroom is tight.

Sweet nd cosy but self check-in has its peculiarities

Location is perfect. The lovely window makes it very cosy. There are all the basic appliences and kitchenware at your disposal. The lobby is sweet and stylish and has some boardgames to use.

Very late check-in 16:00. Windows couldn't open. $300 deposit wasn't mentioned on booking offer. The self check in is way too complicated, or maybe it just annoyed me.

It took a while to get in touch with the property owners to retrieve the key codes. They said they were going to send them 24 hours prior to our arrival but they did not.

We loved this place!

The location was amazing, just a five minute walk from the subway station and near lots of affordable food options. The kitchen as a nice added bonus to the room and the bed was super comfy.

The only issue I had was that the windows were a little drafty and it could get chilly, but there's a heating unit so it wasn't really a big deal.
