About this house rental
-Santa Fe Retreat- This beautifully furnished 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home boasts lovely mountain views from almost every direction! It is very spacious and comfortable. The home has recently been remodeled with gorgeous oak hardwood flooring, hickory kitchen cabinetry and all new appliances. The 2400 sq. ft open concept floor plan lends to a very spacious and comfortable stay in the living, dining, and entertainment areas. There are 5 bedrooms. 4 bedrooms have new queen size beds with luxury/organic mattresses. The master bedroom has 1 king size bed with new luxury/organic mattress and 1 queen futon sofa bed. There is also 1 queen and 1 twin self-inflating mattress stored in the master closet that can be placed anywhere suitable. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and floor fans for your added comfort. Outside - Back Courtyard: A large deck with fire pit seating and deluxe 6 person hot tub has been installedđ¤¸ââď¸Relax and enjoy the beautiful Mountain Views! Front Courtyard: Large Porch with more great views facing the Petroglyphs and the beautiful cottonwood trees that meander along the wetlands. Ahhh. You will find plenty to enjoy just minutes away from the property, whether you explore the famous Petroglyph Site, enjoy a lovely meal or spa treatment at the luxury Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, visit the historic El Rancho de las Golondrinas Museum, or hike our scenic hillsides. There are also 3 Golf Clubs and an Equestrian Center close by. Had everything we needed and away from the beaten path.

The property was impeccable and had everything we needed for our stay. In particular, the cookware and dishes are fantastic. The beds and bedding were also really comfortable. The indoor and outdoor space was perfect for our group of 13 ranging from 6 to 76 years old. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful!

Open and spacious home with plenty of room for our group of eight.The owner is very friendly, hands on and truly cares for and takes good care of the property.
The owner met us when we arrived (early, thank you!) and gave us a tour of the property. She also provided directives on the use, care and peculularities of the hot tub, washer and dryer, dishwasher, oven, air conditioning/windows, refrigerator, gate and blinds.
She was very kind to leave us a platter of fresh muffins and there were fresh flowers decorating the property. The fridge had coffee, creamer and plenty of other condiments. There's also plenty of spices and such.
The main issue we had during our stay was hot water. The power to the tankless hot water heater kept surging and tripping, leaving us without hot water 75 percent of the time. The owner came over numerous times to assist, also bringing in help, but it did not ever completely solve the issue. In fact, our last day we spent at the Ojo Spa (definitely recommend), and she suggested we all shower there.
For the money we spent, the home has a lot of quirks that need to be resolved. The lack of hot water would keep us from returning to this property.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place and was centrally located to enjoy Santa Fe and Albuquerque! Amenities were wonderful and backyard was an oasis. Lynn was helpful and always on call

We hiked, let children play in the backyard, loved the mountain views, close to Santa Fe amenities and brought our family closer together over meals and card games. Very comfortable!

Our family of 10 adults and 5 grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lynn's home. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the home. It was the perfect size and layout for all to enjoy themselves. The back deck was very inviting for morning coffee and conversation. The kitchen allowed several of us to get involved in meal prep time. The additional air mattresses for grandkids was also perfect. Would definitely recommend this home and would stay here in the future.

Property was very nice. We visited Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos, and this home was centralized for that. Lynn was quick to respond with any questions we had, and the home was comfortable and well equipped. I certainly recommend a stay here.

The property was lovely - just as pictured. Lynn was delightful and a pleasure to deal with. It was a great get away! Would definitely return.
The only suggestion is to add a mirror to the 2 bedrooms without one.

From the welcoming flowers to the delightful hostess, the property was exactly as described. Lynn, the host, was wonderful to deal with. She welcomed us and provided a walk-through of the property, answering all of our questions, as well as offering some suggestions about the area. The kitchen is well stocked with all you would need to prepare your meals along with basic provisions. I would definitely rent this property again.

We pulled together a group of 10 to go on a ski trip in Santa Fe and had something very special planned, an engagement. Lynn was told about the occasion at the initial booking and she went above and beyond to accommodate and make the occasion even better. The property held us comfortably and we couldnât have asked for a better visit. Youâll love this place!

Owner meet us at the property and explained everything to us. It was a beautiful place and had alot of space for everyone. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back next year!

My husband's family and mine got together for the first time to celebrate Christmas. We had a wonderful time and exactly what we were hoping for. Lynn our host was wonderful and made the whole process very easy. Everything was well organized from our arrival to our departure. I definitely recommend this place and hope we can come back in the future.

My sisters and I planned to celebrate my upcoming birthday in Santa Fe, and I chose this home because of its size (5 bedrooms), yard, hot tub, and privacy. Lynn was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and stay. She was flexible with us changing dates and then even an early check-in. She met us at the house to go over expectations and basic instructions for various aspects of the house and property. She also had cupcakes out as part of the welcome. She continued to stay in touch as she lives next door. The house is south of Santa Fe and 10 minutes from the airport which was handy for transporting family as they arrived and left. The front and backyards were peaceful, and we all enjoyed the quiet and escape from city life. October is a gorgeous time to visit Santa Fe!

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed our stay in La Cienaga. The home was perfect for our annual sibling trip with separate rooms for all. We had a place to relax and enjoy after our busy days of seeing Santa Fe and surrounding areas. We all wished the stay was longer. The home was clean, spacious and Lynn was the best host. We liked that she lived close to answer our questions. I would definitely stay again if coming to Santa Fe.

Lynn is a proud owner of this property and it shows. Iâve been in many Vrbos and this is the most well equipped of any home. Kitchen well stocked, more than adequate TP. She supplies shampoos, gel, and tissues. Even provides coffee and teas. Nice to leave any uncooked foods and not toss it all away. This home was also very clean. The home is 15-20 min for downtown Santa Fe. It was actually nice to be in a quiet area and not the bustle of the city. Beds are very comfortable and the 3 full baths is a plus. We would stay there again if back in the area.

Starting with Lynn greeting us at the gate our stay here was wonderful! The grounds are beautiful, the deck is a peaceful place to hang out with a great fire pit and very clean hot tub, the beds and bedding are to die for and the kitchen has everything you'd need to prepare full meals. We are five adult women family members ranging in age from 32 to 85 and the place itself met everyone's needs. A couple of things to be aware of if considering this property: it is about a 20-minute drive to anywhere in SF. For my family, this was a little challenging since we had our 85-year-old mother who couldn't sustain a full day of adventuring and needed to be taken back to rest mid-day. Bring your earplugs if different guests will be up and around at different hours. The whole house is hardwood floors (which are beautiful) and the sound really carries. The bedrooms are basically around the outer perimeter of the house and the kitchen/dining/living/entertainment rooms are in the center. It is very close to the airport and planes fly pretty much directly overhead and outdoor conversation must stop for a few moments each time - although not that many times per day. And the dogs! There are dogs all around the neighborhood that bark quite a bit; one gets another one going and the whole chorus begins, and the coyotes join in the song. We found it a little bit amusing, but if you hate barking dogs you won't think so. Overall we give this property and Lynn rave reviews!

The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed and more. Just a short 15-20 minute drive from downtown Santa Fe and closer to a lot of other cool attractions. A great hot tub for the cool evenings, plenty of space for our family and kids, it was perfect.

We were an all ages group of 14. The house was very clean, well cared for and the right size for our group. Lynn was very responsive to our questions and we all appreciated the chance to stay in such a lovely location and home. There were lots of towels and everything in the kitchen that we needed for a fun and successful stay.
The location near Santa Fe was great. Close to a nice Petroglyphs hike, Meow Wolf and Santa Fe attractions.
We'd return for another NM vacation in a heartbeat!

We loved the location and all the added touches like large soaps in bathroom and delicious muffins. We really enjoyed the outside deck with hot tub and sitting area. We all appreciated the obvious care this property gets, very clean and organized. Being out in the country was such a plus with sunsets, thunderstorms and night skies.

We gathered family members from across the country who donât see each other very often.. La Cienga was perfect for us.: accessible to both airports, lots of space both inside and out on the deck, easy access to everywhere we visited, and welcoming to return to after the dayâs roaming.

Good family vacation
Lynnâs house is beautiful and was exactly what we needed for a family vacation. It fit all 10 of us perfectly. The kitchen was big enough for multiple people to be preparing food and allows you to continue the conversation while cooking. Itâs a short 20min drive into town.

Fabulous Cousins Weekend
We gathered cousins from around the country at this lovely place and has a marvelous time! Plenty of room inside, plus outdoor spaces with deck, hammocks and hot tub were enjoyed by all. We hiked, explored in town, and just hung out. The home was well-maintained, perfectly clean, and just as promised. Lynn is a welcoming and gracious host and was available for any questions. A little too far off the beaten path for quick trips for food or restaurants, but that wasnât a big deal for us. Highly recommend!

Great Times at La Cienaga
We enjoyed the house very much... it has plenty of room to spread out and is fully equipped for cooking and hanging out with family. It's really close to a the square and a few other attractions and about an hours drive to the ski area. Lynn was a great host as well... we'll keep this on on our list for future trips to Santa Fe. - JM
