Come and experience our Southern Hospitality in this circa 200 year old building located in the very heart of historic Charleston! We implemented a strict cleaning protocol to provide a safe and clean environment for you to enjoy. Our location is second to none! We are immediately across from the City Market, the best location in historic downtown. This slice of heaven is the ideal place for a romantic getaway, a couple's weekend retreat or a memorable celebration of life. This studio has been especially sought after with honeymooners, guests celebrating their anniversaries, birthdays and engagements and visitors who enjoy the superb location. The 5 star deluxe studio has been lovingly restored to keep the elegance of yesteryear with all the modern luxuries and conveniences. The studio is charming, well appointed, private (only two studios in our building) and secure (multiple key less entry locks). A custom kitchenette is available in your room with a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishes and utensils. We provide soaps and towels, coffee, water and chocolates! You are sure to enjoy sweet dreams in our queen plush pillow top mattress dressed with 1800 (!) count linens. Park your car (self-parking at a discounted rate is available in a covered and camera secured garage only one block from the suites) and never get back in it if dining in the many acclaimed restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, antiquing and discovering the splendor and beauty of Charleston is your goal. Relax on our cozy slate patio or in the sitting area in the foyer, a great place to enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine, to read a book on Charleston or to catch up on your emails using our free WiFi. Suite is right by market and other shops / restaurants we stayed on third floor so if you have a lot of baggage you have to carry up 2 flights of stairs suite is nice for a couple you will hear noise from the street but didn’t bother us we very much enjoyed our stay and Charleston

No hot water in the bathroom sink. Parking was a little difficult because you have to double park to unload your bags run upstairs get a parking pass and then go park about three blocks away and walk all way back to the apartment. However, you are right across from the market easy access to a lot of restaurants and a lot of shopping and the apartment itself was very nice

The building and room are great and exactly as the pictures. What was extremely disappointing is the entire room and bathroom was very very dusty. Appears they had not dusted the bathroom shelves or shutters in months. Also found long, black hair. We also struggled to get hot water to come to bathroom sink, finally figured out if we ran shower it allowed hot water to come to the sink.
The bed was comfortable and loved having the fridge, microwave, keurig and kettle.
Again the location was PERFECT!!!

Location, location, location. Ideal spot to explore all that Charleston has to offer. Almost everything was walking distance from this spot. Our suite was well-maintained, clean and had all the amenities we needed for our long weekend. The kitchenette does come in handy and adds to the value of this rental. As mentioned in the listing, the Charleston Market is literally across the street and it does start hopping at 9:30 or so in the morning and some street noise does waft into the unit. Not a big deal but thought I would point it out. Also, there were a few homeless folks who decided to camp out in the alcove one night. It didn't seem to be a usual spot for them and generally, there was not as much of that going on as say in New Orleans but it was a bit of a surprise to see. Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider this rental for any future trips to Charleston.

We were guests for a weekend wedding in Charleston and didn’t want to stay in a typical hotel room. The bride suggested this Market Street Suite and it was perfect for us. The decor and room setup was charming and the central location enabled us to park the car for the weekend and walk to all the wedding weekend events. Highly recommended.

Impeccable room, fabulous location right in the heart of downtown Charleston. The owner Carl was immediately responsive to any questions we had. Our room was even ready before the check in time and we were able to drop our luggage off and get off to start our sightseeing.

Had an amazing time! Everything is as advertised and the check in and check out instructions were accurate and very detailed. Stayed for a whole week and there was plenty to see and do in downtown and the surrounding areas.
