The apartment was comfortable, clean and in a great location. After the unfortunate incident during check-in, our experience with the actual host, Ernes, was very positive. He sincerely apologized several times, spoke to the person involved about his behaviour and treated us very kindly afterwards. Aner, who later helped us with the accommodation, was also very welcoming and friendly. Ernes even left chocolate and juice at our door as an apology, which was a genuinely thoughtful gesture. We really appreciated his efforts to make things right, and our communication with him throughout the rest of our stay was friendly and respectful.
Unfortunately, we had a very upsetting incident during check-in. The host's friend, Mirza, was handling our arrival and payment. When we learned that card payment wasn't possible, I suggested that my mother and sister could wait there while I went to an ATM to withdraw cash, which he initially agreed to. While I was simply explaining this to my mother in Turkish, his behaviour suddenly changed and he became aggressive. He shouted at us, threw and kicked our bags and belongings, and physically pushed both me and my mother out. My mother's shoulder was left red and bruised afterwards.
The sudden change in his behaviour completely shocked us. We had just arrived in Sarajevo and couldn't understand what had caused such an extreme reaction only moments after he had agreed to our suggestion. We felt confused, shaken and very uncomfortable. Although Ernes handled the situation very well afterwards and we sincerely appreciate that, the incident involved physical aggression and was serious enough that we feel future guests should be aware of it.

I had a wonderful stay. Ernes was very kind and welcoming, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony that I really enjoyed. The location is excellent, very close to City Hall, the Old Town, the tram, and many of Sarajevo’s main sights, so it was incredibly easy to explore the city. Everything went smoothly and I would happily stay here again!

Locatie is heel dichtbij oude centrum, 2 min wandelen. Host is erg aardig.
Foto was niet hetzelfde… woonkamer geboekt maar kreeg een kleine kamer met wc en douche. Heel warm ook binnen, er staat een ventilator.
