Located in Steamboat Springs, this charming condo for $150 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This condo is all about the views! Our Yampa View condo is located above the valley floor with a spectacular view of the valley and the snow-capped Flattop Mountain range to the south. The deck has table and chairs so you can dine outside, (in warm weather) while enjoying the panoramic view of valley and mountains. The same beautiful views from the deck can be enjoyed while while at the dining room table and in the kitchen as well. The gas fireplace creates a cheery atmosphere as well as heating much of the condo. A solid oak table can seat up to 10 people. Although Steamboat is noted for its downhill powder skiing in the winter, it also has excellent marked cross country and snowshoe trails on Rabbit Ears Pass and other areas. In the spring and summer, the winter snow becomes water for kayaking, boating, inner tubing and fishing. Mount Werner is a haven for mountain biking in the summer. A book in the Condo lists the various bike trails in the surrounding terrain. You can also take the gondola to Ragnars, a restaurant located mid-mountain with a spectacular view of the Yampa Valley. For those into rodeo, they can see top riding and roping during the summer. For music lovers, Strings in the Mountains has numerous concerts all summer and several in the winter in addition to various summer concerts featuring all types of music. During the ski season there is free shuttle service to the ski area. About 200 yards from the condo is a free year around city bus service which covers surrounding condo areas and downtown to grocery stores, Safeway and City Market, and general shopping including a Wal-Mart. There is also a Natural Grociers located in town, a few minutes drive from the condo. The Condominium features: Corner unit (980 sq.ft.)with aspen shade in summer. One queen bed, two single beds and sofa makes into bed. Complete kitchen with all appliances and cooking and eating utensils. Complex features: Hot tubs, sauna, exercise room, washers and dryers. Our family of five stayed here for 3 nights. Very happy with our booking. The spa was nice, the apartment was well kept and the views are great. One of the best features is the shuttle service that is timely and easy to utilize both to and from the ski hill. Would book again in the future.

We came for a ski trip. Condo was great. Beds were very comfortable. Best surprise was the private shuttle service. It seems to service only a couple buildings, and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so. Even at the base when everyone is crowded in line waiting for their respective shuttles at the end of the day, there was never more than a few of us waiting for our shuttle. We always got on the first shuttle, and never had to wait very long. Hot tubs were great too (there’s two of them, overlooking the town and resort - just like the view form the balcony of the condo) . All in all, great place to stay.

We had a great vacation in Steamboat and our VRBO was the perfect homebase. The property was clean and super comfortable! After a fantastic day of skiing we loved coming home to the apres on the porch and take in the beautiful views! Craig, the host was awesome, super friendly and responsive to our questions. We definitely suggest booking this VRBO, and we hope to return ourselves someday!

We had a wonderful time in Steamboat thanks to our wonderful host and the beautiful views. Having the Retreatia shuttle take us to the mountain each day was a bonus! We also loved the fireplace and the hot tub!

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable condo located with convenient access to steamboat springs as very friendly and helpful shuttle drivers operated a 2 minute shuttle ride between the condo parking lot and the resort. Lovely views from the living area and everything you could want in the kitchen.

We stayed here while visiting some friends in Steamboat. As some other reviews have said, the property is a little on the older/dated side. However, it was very clean and the price was great. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
