We loved the Lazy Daze Lodge for all of its many amenities and warm, comfortable feel! It was clean and well taken care of and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub fits 4-5 adults fairly comfortably. The theatre room was spacious and projector was easy to use. The only big complaints we had were with the beds and the showers. The beds were so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. This made nights difficult as we all tossed and turned most of the night. The showers have very little water pressure and the bedroom on the main level had a small shower head that barely put out water (it felt like a camper shower). But outside of those things, we had no other issues. In fact, the customer service is absolutely top notch! They answered the phone any time we called (day or night) and addressed/corrected any issues promptly. They even went so far as to bring us a number “6” pool ball when we found it was missing.

Overall, we had a good stay. I think it's definitely time for some updates on the place. The rugs were pretty dirty, the bedding was thin and worn. The pillows were also very worn. There was barely anything in the kitchen to cook with. And overall, the entire place needed a deep cleaning. The jets in the tubs were very dirty. The downstairs bathroom tub did not look like it was cleaned. There was pink mildew. And the shower curtain also needed to be replaced. It was covered in pink mildew. The location was nice as it was close but not too close to downtown. The size and number of rooms suited our needs. It was nice having a theater space and some amenities such as the pool table and foosball table. I just think for the price we paid for the cabin, I was expecting it to be cleaner and have more upkept supplies. I have stayed in cabins that were comparable or less expensive that were more comfortable and clean with plenty of cookware.

The first thing I appreciated about renting the cabin was the ease of check-in. A simple code sent via text to my phone. The cabin was more than we expected! The rustic wood floors and ceilings brought a sense of comfort and relaxation. We enjoyed a movie night in the theater, playing pool, and cooking meals in the spacious kitchen. Mostly, it was the wrap around porch that really made the place perfect. I enjoyed my morning coffee out on the porch in perfect tranquility. Despite the seclusion, the resort is fairly close to local amenities. Loved this cabin and definitely plan to be a repeat visitor next year!

The cabin had plenty of space for 3 families that filled it. We were very happy woth the amenities overall. There were a few issues such as some of the furniture having torn cushions, missing pool ball, but minor in the grand scheme of things. I would recommend this cabin for any family looking to get away.

The cabin was nice but I guess I was expecting more. The floors where not very clean. They only swept but they needed to be mopped. The beds are very firm and I woke up feeling like I slept on the floor. Also, from the pictures it looks like there is some yard space but that is not the case at all. You can also hear everything that goes on from top to bottom. So no peace and quite while others in the cabin are doing anything. The washer makes a funny noise and the dryer took over 70 min to dry a small load of towels. For my money spent I was expecting more. We will be choosing a different cabin if we ever come back.

The cabin was nice. Not as clean as other people stated on reviews. We had to pick up cheese balls and Capri suns off the porch, most of the dishes and pots had dried food on them. So we had to clean everything we used before we cooked. There were no kitchen garbage bags. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped either. No cutting boards, the knives wouldn’t cut through pretty much anything. The measuring cup had cracks in the bottom. The dryer wouldn’t dry. We had to dry things multiple times. There were centipedes all over the bathrooms and laundry room. Location wasn’t great. Other people would park in the small area we had to park. The fridge tray was broken so if you at something in there one end would pop up. The sofas had crumbs on them when we got there. They need to step up the cleaning and spray for bugs. Adding some better knives and a cutting board would be good too. We will not be staying again.

The cabin was very dusty and the projector in the theater room worked with it wanted to. We asked for housekeeping to come out, they stated that someone was coming but never showed. We stayed in a dirty cabin from Thursday to Sunday. No I’m the office seems to care. We have booked with elk springs for 3 years in a row and will not be returning.

The property did not have a Mountain View or anything but a nice view of trees. All the bedding, layout in the living room, and bathroom look like the pictures. One room that does not is the theater room. The chairs are not the soft style like the pictures. The chairs in the room are like Broadway theater chairs. The one that fold up and don’t have too much cushion. The shower head in the showers are great! There was a couple of thing wrong/concern that would need to be attended to at this property. Shower curtain in the master bedroom was molded. There was a Leak in theater room when the upstair shower where being used. Air hockey need a update, it is broken. It Does not blow enough air for the hockey pock to move smoothly across the table. The theater room Needed extra option or a Ruku. There was only a blu-Ray player in there. Basement stayed cold all the time and if you turn up the heat than the 2nd floor become super hot. All vent was dirty and hard to open or close on the main floor. Sauna doesn’t get very hot but it may help with warming up the room :)

Me and my family loved the cabin! We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and my sister-in-law’s birthday and it was enough room for everyone nobody was sitting on top of each other we really liked the hot tub we loved the pool table and we loved that the location was so serene we definitely will be staying again at this cabin or another cabin if available at Elk Springs! Me and my family love Elk Springs Resort and I heard so many good reviews about it but I’m so glad that we actually got to experience it for ourselves!

This is a beautiful cabin. Pictures don’t do it justice. Plenty of room for the whole family to relax and enjoy. The kitchen allowed ample space to cook meals and there was plenty of seating to sit down and eat. The only complaint I have is that we could have used a little more seating in the family room area. There was just one couch. Not really a complaint though because everything was so spacious and clean. We plan to return in the future.

Everything was nice and clean. Could use a little more main level seating. Not a major ordeal, we pulled in rocking chairs from the wrap around porch. Just with 9 people and only one sofa and two rocking chairs in the main living area not a lot of seating! Everything else about the stay was great!

The rental is nice and was clean. Definitely time for some upgrades such as more comfortable seating in the living room, as it has four bedrooms but only a 3 seater couch and 2 rocking chairs in the living room unless you sit on a wooden bench at the kitchen table to watch tv. Let’s discuss the tv’s. They are old, small and very outdated. Definitely time to hit a Black Friday sale and update the tv’s. The theater room only has availability to watch DVDs. In this age when most people use Netflix or other platforms to watch movies that wasn’t very useful. This is the first cabin I’ve been to where the kitchen dishes wasn’t stocked very well. We only had 3 small pots to rotate around attempting to cook dinner, and there were no lids for the pots. Be sure to pack tissue, trash bags and paper towels because they only leave one for use in the rooms. Now the showers were absolutely amazing. The water gets extremely hot and the water pressure was great which sometimes lack in rentals but this one did not disappoint! There were also ample bath towels which were appreciated. Our comforter had a weird white stain on it, which was concerning because I always wonder if the comforter and sheets are changed or just the sheets between visit. The basement level was really hard to keep warm. If coming during the winter, be sure to have your kids in onesies and double up on blankets as that’s where the kids beds are. Comparing to other rentals we’ve stayed at, we would not return to this one. It’s nice, but not what we desire when on vacation.
