Really comfortable and spacious rooms, friendly owner and staff and a great bar. Location is convenient for sea, town centre and the Donkey Sanctuary.
Not the fault of the hotel but the constant all night traffic noise is distracting. It may be that rooms at the back are better.

We stopped here two nights on a hiking holiday of the Southwest. We were very pleasantly surprised by the experience and the attentivness of Sam and his staff. The rooms were well appointed and the two dinners we had there were excellent, as was the breafast.
The Wifi was on and off but we were assured by management that they were aware of the problem and on the case.

Excellent breakfast. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Dinners good too.
Toast both brown and sour dough was sweet and too processed. Dinners in very large, maybe overly large portions especially the pasta with prawns and crab meat. Cedric our dog had half of mine and loved it!
