Lovely comfortable bar area and friendly staff
Traditional features, had a lovely double overlooking the garden. Spacious and comfortable.
Not a negative for most but the car park is tight when full.

Short walk to the sea front. Off the main road, so nice and peaceful. Lovely dining and a good choice of fish dishes. Friendly, helpful staff. Short drive to Exeter, Seaton, Donkey Sanctuary etc. Certainly plenty to do each day. A good base to stay at.
Hard pillows, but that's just because we're used to softer. The shower was just a dribble but was clean and modern and adequate.

Comfortable Room, interesting building, quiet location
Poor quality breakfast, sausage & mushroom undercooked . No pot of tea, tea had to be made from spluttering hot water urn that wasn’t boiling.
